lissie again absolutely made up for you I hope this one is superglued in there

The waiting game after a mc is bloody hard but your ladies waiting will get CD1 again soon, it will happen CD1 leads to BFP.

ladylush - sorry don't have anything useful you can ask your consultant but you go kick his unhelpful ass!

OracleInaCoracle · 13/11/2007 22:09

keep thinking ive got backache, then i move and realise its the way im crouched over the laptop

sweetkitty · 13/11/2007 22:12

lissie - last pregnancy I spent most of my time bouncing on my gym ball mumsnetting as it was the comfiest thing to sit on with the SPD, I know I will regret this but I am actually wanting it to return a bit as I get it at 15 weeks and that will mean the baby is doing ok.

OracleInaCoracle · 13/11/2007 22:16

im so scared.
terrified that its another ep
terrified that its another slippy one

my last mc was so painful too (and only at 6w) im worried that my body cant take any more!

Jules - proper chips how lovely!

As I'm sure you know you tested far too early but then I tested at 5dpo so I can't comment. Everything crossed that in a few days its a BFP for you.

I'm sorry Cheekster I don't know. If you gently press your fingers on your abdomen does it hurt? Or is it just when you lie on your front? How about ringing NHS direct?

Thanks a lot girlies

Yeah when I press on my abdomen it is sore - Im worried now - eptopic or emotional wreck.

NHS Direct is probably a good idea.

Cheekster · 13/11/2007 23:09

I mean ectopic

ClairePO · 13/11/2007 23:13

Hope everything is OK Cheekster

Cheekster · 13/11/2007 23:22

LOVE IT!!!!!

PMSL at that Jules

They arent daft are they tho - they somehow know that because theyre old they can get away with it!!!

As amazing as my nan is she did also say

'You know, you ll probably have a few more mc before you eventually have a baby - things normally come in 3's'

ClairePO · 14/11/2007 07:44

LOL at Jules grandma

and at Cheeksters!

OracleInaCoracle · 14/11/2007 08:28

cheekster, its v common for your abdomen to feel tender at this stage. your body is just getting used to being pg. go and see your doc, get in the system and mention it to them! hth

well, af was due yesterday/today and no sign. keep knicker cheking, backache has all but gone and i have loads of cm. oh please god, let this one stay put!

ladylush · 14/11/2007 08:56

Lissie do you feel different compared with other pregnancies? What vits etc are you taking? Dunno about you but I try something different each pregnancy. Next time I am going to take low dose aspirin just in case I do have a clotting disorder and it hasn't been picked up (that can happen apparently and m/c after 8 weeks is often sign of poor blood flow through placenta and cells). I am also taking extra folic acid - about 1200mcg, pronatal and zinc. If I feel a cold coming on I take max strength vit c for a day or so - seems to be doing the trick. Had 2 reflexology sessions this month to maximise my chances and have been seducing dh almost every day since cd7. Got LH surge today. Let's just say we're giving it our best shot I hope the time passes quickly. When will you get scanned?
Thanks for advice re. questions to ask

Jules - at your nan burning down the kitchen! No wonder chips were banned! Nans are full of dubious wisdom and it is hard to take offence isn't it. Mind you, Cheekster might disagree If it's any consolation, I know plenty of women who had 1 or 2 m/c then had a baby so no truth in that claim.

ladylush · 14/11/2007 08:57

Jules, the clotting results were due 14 weeks after bloods taken and the appt was in September, so they might not be back yet.

OracleInaCoracle · 14/11/2007 09:01

i think i do. tbh, im trying not to think of myself as pg... im taking 5mg folic acid and 75mg asprin, also drinking GALLONS of water. no caffeine (not even chocolate) just got to sit tight through the long 2w... this is even worse than the 2ww! cant move to due in july yet, will go after scan. if i get that far!

i shall have a think and try to find the q's i asked.. dont be fobbed off. go in there with reams of independant research!

cricri · 14/11/2007 09:10

Cheekster Hope you're OK this morning and that the pains have gone.
Lissie It sounds as though you're doing everything you can to make this one stick. Fingers crossed for you.
Well, I caved in this morning and did a pg test and BFN CD30 so I guess I'm just waiting for AF now. Hope she hurries up and I can get back to CD1. Perhaps my cycles are still a bit messed up after the mc.
Hope everybody else is OK.

OracleInaCoracle · 14/11/2007 09:11

cricri, it takes a while to get back to normal after a mc. your body has been through a traumatic experience and needs to recover. hope af comes soon x
