I'm either 3 or 4 dpo and looking to chat to others for the hpt countdown nightmare.

I feel like I've bought a lottery ticket. Excited, hopeful, but ready for a great big nope too 😀

Hey I'm 3DPO TTC#1 cycle 4, since coming off the pill in August I've had short luteal phases (8 days or less), so this cycle I've started taking vitamin C which apparently increases progesterone. Really hoping this time I get a longer luteal phase or obviously a BFP! x

Hi! I'm 5dpo today I think, but not holding out hope as looking at my last cycle I had a 7 day lp before spotting for 4 days then af!
Will be starting vitamins next cycle I think but crossing my fingers for a longer lp this month!

Hi Butterscotch and Vicki! I've just ordered my FRERs, ready for as long as I can hold out! I got a + with DS1 at 7dpo - the GP didn't believe me! Then at 10dpo with DS2.

Because I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated (got high on opk but not peak, so might have missed it. BD x 3 last week though, so still hopeful.

Hi! I'm ttc #1 on cycle 2. About 4 dpo. I'm doing exactly what I said I wouldn't do and scrolling mumsnet threads like a crazy lady looking for positive vibes and success stories! I'm 36 so a little edgy about how long this could take. But feeling relaxed and positive for the most part (I think!)...

@Tempusfudgeit no children yet, TTC #1. That's cool you got a positive at 7DPO, I plan to test on 11DPO if I make it that far without seeing af.

When's everyone planning on testing?

I'm going to hold out until Sunday 22nd, that's 10 dpo. I have 4 FRER in the cupboard. I will resist!

Hey! I think I’m 3 or 4 days dpo. AF due 26th. Going to hold out testing til 24th. (Cycle #1 for baby #1)

Trying not to do all the ovulation tests / temperature testing as only cycle one and don’t want to stress myself out too much. Just seeing how this one goes. Just waiting for this week to pass.

Ttc #1 here, on cycle 2 of trying but third cycle off the pill. I'm trying not to rest as if I follow the pattern from last month I'll have af in the next 2/3 days
I've been using opks and started temping this month too, anyone else temping?

@Vicki1990 yes I'm charting temp and was doing OPKs, are you having short luteal phases as well?

@ButterscotchBabe I am! I started spotting last month 7 days after I ovulated, got excited thinking it could be implantation bleeding but it carried on for 4 days and then af came
Thought I'd try temping to see if I am actually ovulating and it's confirmed I am just need to lengthen my luteal phase this month and I'll take it as a win!

Hi all! Please may I join?? I'm 5dpo, 5th cycle of ttc #1.

Already symptom spotting. Managed to stay fairly chilled last month but this month is a different story. We've decided to take a break with charting/opks etc. next month as I'm finding it quite stressful at times.

Fingers crossed we all get our bfp's this month! X

Morning all! Symptom spotting - argh!

Abdominal twinges, my cup of tea tastes horrible this morning and irritability (although that could be IBS, my husband's tea-making incompetence and lockdown)

@Tempusfudgeit my tea started to taste awful yesterday, like tin and have horrific nausea on and off🙈but trying not to symptom spot, I'm having a flare up with my stomach issues so know it's most likely that!

Hi all. Please can I wait with you? I'm 6 dpo ttc #2. Not feeling too hopeful this month tho. Cycle 5 of trying getting impatient now. Fell pregnant straight away with number 1.

I’ve got no symptoms at all. Trying not to worry about that though, still early days.

It's so tricky with symptom spotting isn't it, last month I convinced myself I was having all the "classic" symptoms inc nausea, sore boobs and metallic taste and then got a BFN...I guess only a test can give us the answer! Gives us something to do while we wait though, right?!

I think if I get sore boobs I’ll be very excited. I never ever get sore boobs before AF so I’ll definitely see that as a good sign. (Never thought I’d be excited for sore boobs.)

@Tempusfudgeit she is 2 1/2. When I came off the pill in the summer was convinced I would be pregnant by Christmas which is looking more and more unlikely.
