I'm either 3 or 4 dpo and looking to chat to others for the hpt countdown nightmare.

I feel like I've bought a lottery ticket. Excited, hopeful, but ready for a great big nope too 😀

@rttcbabyno1 thanks lovely. Yes, first baby. Officially 1DPO today so the TWW begins again. It's a good test of patience which I normally don't have a lot of! You're so right though, life is very precious. I'm trying not to wish my life away with ttc as anything could happen just need to trust I'm doing all I can to give us the best chance.

I wish you all the best with your journey when you're in a place to try again. Sounds like you're being kind to yourself at such a difficult time and I hope you've got a support network that is taking good care of you too xxx

Hi Ladies! How is everyone? I hope you all are doing well.

I took some time off from tracking for a couple of months as I found I was getting quite stressed out by it all. I'm slowly easing back in by temping again and I have my first appointment to get some blood tests done in a couple of weeks which I'm so happy about in the hopes that I will soon if there's anything wrong or if we've just been unlucky so far.

It can get so stressful can't it?! I find the few days before AF due the worst. I've been trying to track a bit less in the middle and rely more on body signs like EWCM. Also stopped doing SMEP as it was taking the enjoyment out of it for us. Its amazing how obsessive it can make us (well me anyway!).

That's good re your blood tests being done. Hope they can bring some reassurance or some answers for you. Did you get referred through GP? We've been talking about getting some tests done but thought we'd give it a couple more cycles. I'm 37 in a couple of months so starting to be conscious of time.

@Seasalt1984 thank you for the lovely reply, yes I've had it rough, makes me want to conceive even more weirdly. Life is too bloody short. I'm 26 with my whole life ahead of me, but my Dad was only 58 😞 it's not right.

Anyway, I'm probably 1 or 2 DPO today. Had a load of DTD this month. Although I've just read online, that you ovulate 24-36 hours after receiving a peak test. I must admit, me and the other half quit DTD for a while as soon as I get the peak day (and DTD on that day). I'm annoyed with myself now, normal people wouldn't obsess about these sorts of things, but when you are so desperate for a baby like us lot it's rather upsetting me 😞 I feel silly I didn't know this. Will DTD tonight but I think it's too late now. Xxx

@Hollybeex good to hear from you! It can be extremely stressful!! If I remember rightly, we started TTC around the same time. Ive been doing it since July, are you able to get tests done now? That's interesting, maybe it would be worth me looking into it. X

Thanks @rttcbabyno1 ! I'm back. I'm jumping on and allowing myself to get a bit excited even though I don't think there's a real chance. Our lb is 18m and DH doesn't want to actively TTC no2 for a few more months (after we get C19 vaccines etc). But last weekend we had our first night without lb and went tour for dinner and DTD (my pill ran out in Jan and they won't repeat the prescription until I can get a blood pressure review appointment). I pooped it in the Flo app just because, and it predicated that was my OV day! I don't think the predictions are accurate as it only has since Jan in there, but y'know, any excuse to get a bit excited. I always wanted to have a 2yr gap so I'd be delighted if we accidentally managed it but it's so unlikely - it took 3 cycles after coming off the pill last time, with loads of DTD! 🤣 So that's me!

@rttcbabyno1 I'm so sorry, I think loss definitely fuels what we want even more.

If you DTD in build up to positive OPK and on the day you got a positive that should cover you, from what I've read DTD in the few days before ovulation is good because then you should have sperm waiting for egg to release. So I reckon you'll be covered! 😊

@laureatus you could definitely be in for a shot this month, see what happens at the end of your TWW! 🤞

So I've had some news, I POAS at 11dpo on Friday as I was driving myself slightly insane and I got a v v faint positive. Feeling strangely calm and hopeful about this one sticking, but definitely some underlying anxiety after MMC. We're planning to take each day and week as it comes and we're going to book an early scan around 8 weeks if we get that far to see how things are. I read someone say it's like a roll of the dice each time and that sort of makes me feel a bit better knowing I can stay well and healthy but ultimately some things are out of my control. Will just hope for the best and see what happens 🙏

Aww @Seasalt1984 that's great news!!! you deserve all the happiness after last time. Im sure everything will be fine, make sure to stay positive and try not to worry too much and overthink things. I know that's easier said than done. I read online that your less likely for it to happen again if it's happened to you before. Sending you lots of well wishes 💐 xxx

Only 3rd day dpo. Marking my place as talking to my partner about it is just not the same

Unsurprisingly a BFN for me today - I've totally left my FRER like a crazy just to see if something comes up after the 3mins! AF due on Monday (maybe?!) so if nothing by Weds I'll have another go when I have the house to myself just for fun. Shane, I'd always hoped we'd aim to have our second this year but my DH wasn't ready - this accident would have been our last chance for 2021!

Hi, could I join in on your ttc journey please?

I feel a little guilty really as I've already got 2 LO's, but I've been trying for my 3rd for 4 months - it seems harder to conceive when I'm actively trying than when I'm not!
I'm CD22, 6/7 DPO, I'm regular with my cycles, I'm like clockwork with them luckily! I had a chemical last month so I'm really hoping this month is better🤞🏻
This month was my first trying with OPK, I used the CB dual hormone and got my static smiley on the 24th and I think I ovulated on the 25th, I dtd on the 20th, 24th and 26th. I had a horrid cold so it's all I could muster up.

I'm so glad I found this chat. Makes me feel less alone! I can speak to my partner but he seems to be looking into this slightly differently.

I had mc on 2nd March at nearly 11wks. Ended up fainting in a&e and was quickly wheeled into emergency unit. I recovered and feeling fine now. However, partially because of what has happened, getting obsessed with getting pregnant. Chepie opk test indicated ovulation on Sat so fingers crossed there's a bit of hope for me.

How are you coping not letting your life being ruled by getting pregnant? I go to bed and wake up with only thought in my head. Haha, hopefully I'm not the only one this bad

Happy Easter! Hope you're all well! I'm still hanging in there, according to Flo AF is due tomorrow but no backache yet, which is my usual warning...!

I'm 9dpo today. Tested with ic and absolutely nothing. Did opk test afterwards and very light line. I hope it was easy just to stop worrying and take it easy instead ;)

@MiamiBeach104 aww thank you! I tested this morning even though I can just feel AF is coming (2 days late now). A BFN on a FRER, prob a waste of a test really, but couldn't resist! Annoying, I've never had a cycle this long but I was trying to lose weight before so maybe my pattern messed up. Thanks for thinking of me everyone and good luck and baby dust to you all!

@Laureatus ah, sorry to hear that. Hopefully AF will come soon and then you can try again. Fingers crossed. Maybe getting some cheaper tests might save you from wasting too much money.

I tested at 8 and then 9dpo witch ic and obviously negative. Have one FR test. But will hold on until Saturday to use it. Apart from sore boobs feel absolutely nothing. So not too sure why raising my hopes up. I decided to buy myself a small present when AF comes. To cheer myself up

Welcome to all the newbies to the post 🙋🏼‍♀️ 😊 I'm just trying to catch up as I haven't checked in in a while.
I've been TTC since July last year, no luck so far just one CP. I've booked in a blood test now at doctors and my partner is having a seminal check. I may have slightly exadurated how long we have been TTC for... I'm hoping it has just been bad luck so far but it's a start, fingers crossed everything's fine 🤞🏻
