Feeling very fed up with failing every month and wondered if there's anyone in the same boat? It's a lonely boat on a journey to nowhere at the moment, but if anyone else wants to join me, some company would be nice

How is everyone?

I don't think I have ovulated this cycle. Argh.

Chocolatedays · 10/04/2008 17:56

Hi all - just having a wee lurk and wanted to say hi - thinking of you and wishing you well.

Choc xx

Ready · 10/04/2008 18:29

Lovely to "see" you Choc - How goes it? x

nomoremagnolia · 11/04/2008 07:54

Scared How did it go yesterday?
Herby Hope all goes well today and that the nasty nurse is off
My trip to the clinic was good - saw my ovaries on the screen. I'm ov'ing from the left this month (thought you'd all want to know that ) and the trial embryo transfer went well too, so I start the drugs in just under two weeks.

Hi everyone.

Ready - sorry to hear you haven't ov'd. Will this mean you have a longer cycle or will it be normal length do you think?
Herby - thinking of you today and hoping it doesn't hurt too much.
Nomore and Gilly - glad to hear some good news!

I am on CD 18 so into the hard part of the cycle. Trying to persuade myself it hasn't happened this month because I think that makes it slightly less painful when AF does come. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Hello!

Nasty nursey was off, and instead had lovely lady, who I think I developed a bit of a crush on. Doctors are so young these days! The worst bit was the anaesthetic, though I did feel a bit faint when she was poking around within. The numbess is wearing off a bit now, and it hurts, but it's all over now.

Thank you for all your thoughts.

2ww madness is upon me - kitchen smelt foul this morning, which naturally I put down to being pregnant, rather than a sloven.

RahRah1 · 11/04/2008 12:47

Fab news H... glad its all done now. Hopefully it won't hurt for long... I have not seen any young fit doctors at my hospital ..lol

I'm on 2ww as well. I'm due on over the weekend to Tuesday. I know I have not caught as the IUI went wrong etc etc and then I also have af symptoms the same as normal... including cramping... GRR..But every time I get a pregnancy like symptom my head runs away with it!

Herby So pleased you had a nice nurse and the nasty one was off - maybe you were meant to not go on Tuesday so you'd get a nice nurse
Hope you're taking it easy today
Hi Rah Sorry you're feeling all af-y. Do you have a plan for what next if the IUI doesn't work?

OP posts:
herbaceous · 11/04/2008 13:08

I'm on CD22, of usually 28-day cycle, though madness is exacerbated by:

1 I may have ov'd on CD8-10, as got a mass of EWCM, so that would mean AF is due now!

2 Also EWCM CD18-20 so maybe ov was late, in which case AF an age away.

3 I have no sore boobs, no cramping, nothing, like I would normally have.

Rah - sorry about IUI cock up, as it were. Onward...

Embarrassingly the doctor I now love is a lady. I think I was addled by the stress.

I've had pains up my 'area' also!

I think the first bout of EW might have been around the time of Josephine Mengele and her needle of doom. Surely not enough to bring on womb action? God knows. I'm exhausted thinking through all the permutations every blasted month. Sod it.

Just realised that I find "Hoo-Ha" so amusing, 'cos I always hear it in my head as said by Al Pacino in "Scent of a Woman".

Looking forward to hearing about everyone's "symptoms" on Monday, am off for the weekend now - due to snow again

nomoremagnolia · 11/04/2008 20:28

at hoo-ha!!
Have a lovely weekend everyone

EachPeach, my luteal phase is 13 days, so it will mean a long cycle. I ovulated on 20 it seems, so on the home stretch now I know what you mean about convincing yourself it hasn't worked as it seems less painful. Hang in there.

How is everyone? I got a tad tipsy last night - White Grenache was on special offer in Saino's - went to bed with a headache and got up with it. Boooooo.

I need to go for a walk in the beautiful sunshine now... catch ya later

Ooooooh.... wish we had bacon in the house.

It's lovely here... think I will go for another walk. I should get out in the garden and prune some shrubs

How's everyone doing?

herbaceous · 15/04/2008 17:11

Didn't want to see this thread die a death...

Madness goes on. CD 26 of 28-day cycle. Weird crampings round my 'bikini line', rather than proper AF-type stuff, tingly rather than sore boobs, and occasional 'ew' when eating a mint.

However, cycle v odd this time, with EWCM at both CD8-10 and 18-20, so I'm either:

a) Up the duff from early ov, otherwise AF would have arrived by now
b) Waiting for late AF/BFP from late ov
c) Neither of the above and will come on in two days' time.

If I were a betting woman, naturally I'd say c.

Went to Walthamstow dogs on Saturday night, and at one point was a princely £18 up! And didn't spend it all! I love the dogs.

Hi Ladies,

Sorry I haven't posted for a while but the "dream" job isn't turning out to be a dream anymore. Very long hours with alot of travelling and many early mornings. Such is life, well at least my life.

So my good news is.... I haven't been run over by a truck

The bad news... I haven't heard from the fertility consultant and have just done a test, which is neg

Oh and I went to Bingo last week. It was an education, those nice little old ladies that shop in Co-op on Saturdays, are slot machinie terrorists. Don't be fooled its not arthritus its RSI from nudge and hold ---- kerrching. Terrorists in a tena lady!!!!! Sadly I didn't win a bean - typical

My life is pants - anyone fancy swapping?

Ready · 15/04/2008 18:00

Phew. I was thinking I had killed the thread. Panic over. Mwah

I have never been to the dogs, I have an image of Blur's Parklife album in my mind now - well done you on winning some dough!

Fingers tightly crossed that you are (a) ... would be wonderful!!

Soooo... what's the dirt? Anyone got anything to share?

Hey, by the by (how fancy pants do I sound saying it like that? ) has anyone 'seen' Coggy????? If you're lurking, miss ya chick!!

Had reflexology yesterday, it was good, she said that my feet were yellow (in tone, not scabby!!) and apparently that means that I am "totally fed up. Resentful, indignant and displeased. Have a jaundiced view of life" I'd say that pretty much sums me up right now. I don't think I will go again because I couldn't completely relax, I was constantly second guessing what areas she was working - and expecting to feel more. If that makes sense.

Ready · 15/04/2008 18:04

oh Kd, sweets , I am sorry you are feeling low at the moment (check your feet, are they yellow in tone?)... Is your job still in the getting used to everything stage? . Good going on not being run over by a truck though!
Pmsl at slot machine terrorists in tena lady! Brilliant.
Sorry that you got a neg How early are you testing?

Anyone else excited about the Sex&TheCity film due out soon?
