Feeling very fed up with failing every month and wondered if there's anyone in the same boat? It's a lonely boat on a journey to nowhere at the moment, but if anyone else wants to join me, some company would be nice

Hey nomore. I'm alright. I guess. Though in awe of your bravery looking at prams. Glancing at them out of the corner of my eye from the escalator is about as close as I dare get.

Have to go to hospital on Wednesday for a core biopsy for my boob lump. Scared witless. It's by the same horrible old cow who investigated it with a fine needle about two weeks ago, and it hurt like hell. When I protested, she said: "I'm not doing this for the good of my health - I'd rather be at home, too." Yes, but you're not the one with a needle in your delicate areas. I just know I'm going to cry as soon as I get into the room.

Was brave and said to DP 'we need to do more jiggy if we're going to make this baby', and ever since then I can't get a moment's peace! I had to turn him down last night, as was totally knackered. Bless him. In a state of confusion about emissions - had gallons of EWCM at cd8 and 9, and again just now, at cd18. What the blazes...

Wassup with you lot? Apart from crazed pram fondling...

Herby, you ought to complain about that stupid moo! The cheek of it. Please don't cry. Hope that everything is ok?

Poppy, I used preseed once before, but didn't really notice too much of a difference and so haven't used it since. I have a packet left... anyone know if it has an expiry date?

Hey Nomore were your ears burning?

scared1976 · 08/04/2008 10:13

hi ladies, how you all doing. sorry went awol for a few days. had a real false alarm, and when you know what turned up, i had to pretend it wasnt happening for a few days.

anyways, onwards and upwards. off for my acupuncture tonight and seeing the expert "poking around your bits" lady at the clinic on Thurs. Waiting for dearest husband to get his tests back and he is being such a sweetie about laying off the beer! i am doing less well though. still stressing massively, and working 12 hours a day which im sure is not good for my body at all.

hope all is well with everyone. hugs x

scared1976 · 08/04/2008 10:14

ps herby you should defn complain. how dare she make you feel that way! totally unacceptable.

EachPeachPearPlum · 08/04/2008 14:42

I have used pre-seed but only because sometimes I need to use something blush. I don't think there's any point if you don't normally IYSWIM.

EachPeachPearPlum · 08/04/2008 14:43

Thanks Gilly! It turns out that I'm a moron, and the appointment was actually today, so I missed it! I wonder if my sub-conscious was at work!

Sadly, they phoned me up and rescheduled me for Friday morning. Bah.

Thinking of you girls... Herby, I hope Friday goes well and the witch is off for the day, and someone lovely will be dealing with you... and Gilly, all the best tomorrow, I am thinking clear thoughts for your tubes ... and Scared for Thursday's clinic.

nomoremagnolia · 09/04/2008 07:50

Gilly all the best today, am thinking of you
Scared all the best for tomorrow, I'm thinking of you too I'm off to the clinic tomorrow too for a scan so they can look at my ovaries prior to the treatment (I guess so they've got a 'control' scan to compare thing to once I start all the drugs)
Herby Thinking of you on Friday too - I second the motion that she doesn't work Fridays and you get someone nicer Fingers crossed that it's not too horrible and that they find nothing's wrong with the biopsy.

You ladies are all lovely. Thank you for thinking of me. It will carry me through the biopsy! I've got a feeling it might not be Dr Mengele again, but if it is I may request a strong sedative!

Gilly - glad your tubes are clear. I'm still trying to organise my rodding through too.

All of a doodah with my CM. Mmmm. Had a bucketload of EWCM on days 8-10, then not much mid-cycle, then a load more days 18-20. Naturally, I'm taking this as a sign of ov-ing early, and now being up stick, rather than my collapsing ovaries trying desperately to squeeze an egg out. Also, no sore boobs, which I should have by now. Verr odd.

RahRah1 · 09/04/2008 13:45

Fab news Gilly..... WOOHOOO for clear tubes...

This is my last IUI, so on 2ww... so does not look like we will be IUI buddies after all. But after 5 months of doing IUI I consider myself a bit of an expert now, so if you have any question ask away... always happy to help. X
Plus my friend did IUI and caught on her first go, so don't take me as an example .

RahRah1 · 09/04/2008 13:48

Herb... mega good luck at your biopsy... Ask for the best sedatives going... so deserve a bit of relaxing time....
I had a tube stuck up my backside for some investigations once , but did not even notice camera going up I was that far gone... LOL
Obviously if I had not had the sedative nothing would of gone near my back passage! ..lol

herbaceous · 09/04/2008 13:59

I'm not even sure if sedatives are on the menu, but no harm in asking for them, I reckon. Could be fun going into work afterwards...

Ready · 09/04/2008 17:24

Great news Gilly

Gilly, they did not mention anything about flying, but to be honest they did not mention much. It was a case of us asking if we wanted to know something. Sorry I have not been of any help, but I'm sure you would be ok to fly as implantation would not of even happened and then you would be on a relaxing holiday, which is always the best for conceiving. (or being a drunk 14 yr old! )
