Hi everyone! MASSIVE temp drop today below cover line! Waiting for the witch to descend. 11DPO! Ahhh well. On holiday now, just put my son to bed so can have a few drinks now. Every cloud and all that !

Good luck everyone! 😘

2alreadywantanother · 17/10/2020 20:18

@richmondlady1981 😥💕

Runnergirl1 · 17/10/2020 22:05

@RichmondLady1981 oh no. Hopefully it isn’t the sneaky witch. Enjoy the holidays too x

re6ecca · 18/10/2020 00:19

Hello lovelies hope you're all doing OK- don't think anyone noticed my question

Does anyone here check their cervix?

Rainbowhope11 · 18/10/2020 05:04

@VP91x sorry!! I missed your post on the previous thread. I'm doing okay, did my second round of Clomid, and this month I had 3 eggs that looked like they were responding. One of them was 18mm and the others were a bit smaller so my doctor was comfortable with administering the Hcg trigger shot. He said it's unlikely that the other two would be viable because they were smaller, but you never know! I've decided that I will test out the trigger so that I know it's left my system. This round I'm trying to just not think too much about it or symptom spot.

How are you doing? Xx

HappyVibes · 18/10/2020 09:09

@Rumples bless you lovely. That sounds like a very emotional situation for you. I really feel for you reading your first post as it sounds like your health care providers have gone down routes that have been much more emotionally draining than others. Bless for you being so strong and getting here!

In terms of trying again, the nurse saying to wait three months, I’ve never heard that. The health professionals generally say wait for one period and then start TTC if you feel ready. However, that is just so that they can accurately date the pregnancy of you did conceive that cycle. If you did conceive that cycle, there are no health risks that this can cause, it’s just for dating.

Xxxxx

2alreadywantanother · 18/10/2020 09:26

@re6ecca I did notice sorry but no sorry I don't. Last time I monitored RHR, temp and did opk. Just doing opk now and will monitor the others after af arrives

MinnieMouse4 · 18/10/2020 09:39

@re6ecca sorry lovely I don’t check either xx

HappyVibes · 18/10/2020 09:59

@re6ecca sorry I didn’t reply as I don’t check. I think the placing of the cervix is more indicative of when you’re fertile or fertile or not. I hadn’t heard about it being indicative of pregnancy but I don’t check mine so I’m not 100% xxx

Rumples · 18/10/2020 10:17

@2alreadywantanother @HappyVibes thankyou both, that makes sense regarding the dating. I don't think there is much point in tracking ovulation etc until I've had a period so we'll just see what happens. I'm expecting to be out of action for another 10+ days anyways xxx

@re6ecca I was checking my cervix before I got pregnant but I found it hard to recognise a pattern. I relied more on OPK's and temping.

HappyVibes · 18/10/2020 10:29

@Rumples if you are wanting to try before AF, I would recommend tracking ovulation as mine did help indicate ovulation after MMC & before the first AF. But it’s completely up to you lovely. Hope you find comfort throughout your recovery & healing process lovely xxxxx

EmmaAM · 18/10/2020 10:33

Hi everyone, I was just wondering if I could join. I miscarried last Wednesday (7th October) at just over 6 weeks and it's something that has hit me a lot harder than I thought it would. Only stopped spotting yesterday and we DTD for the first time...and for some reason I just ended up feeling really upset afterwards. I just wondered if anybody else had felt the same to begin with...does it get easier?

HappyVibes · 18/10/2020 10:40

@EmmaAM bless
You lovely. Sorry that you find yourself here, but hopefully the support and advice from the lovely ladies will bring you a bit of comfort and help your process.

How you’re feeling is 100% normal of course. It’s a very emotional process and such a rollercoaster. In terms of healing & it getting better etc, it’s very up & down for me. Everyone heals & manages things very different but my main advice would be to look after yourself, speak openly to people around you about your true emotions & feelings and also, to be sensitive and considerate that your OH is also going through the exact same feelings of grief...so to understand that too for him.

It’s absolutely heartbreaking and it takes a lot of strength & resilience to get through this. BUT, it has absolutely without a shadow of a doubt made me stronger, and us stronger as a couple & ultimately me to be proud of what we can achieve and overcome together as a team.

Sending you lots of love and healing vibes xxx

MoMof4xx · 18/10/2020 10:57

Hi everyone,
Has anyone found that their periods changed after their miscarriage?
I miscarried last month and took a test 3 days after as I knew I'd passed the sac. The test was negative. I ovulated on cycle day 12 that month but didn't conceive.
My period started on Sunday last week. Its always 28 days, 2 days heavy and then finishs at cd5.
This cycle im still on af. It was heavy for 3 days and then stop start stop start. Its driving me a little crazy as I just don't understand my body anymore.
This morning I woke up and I had lots of watery cm and no af but hours later and im spotting again. X

susiebluebell · 18/10/2020 11:23

@EmmaAM I'm so sorry for your loss and I really recognise those feelings from the early days after my miscarriage. My OH and I were actually in different parts of the country when it happened, so when we were reunited I'd stopped bleeding and was officially TTC again. And dtd was such a mix of feelings - intimacy, and at the same time grieving the loss, and feeling I wanted another pregnancy but knowing I couldn't make it happen straight away. I felt I was betraying the baby I'd just lost, in some way.

It DOES get easier, the excitement of TTC does come back - mine was in August and I'm pretty good now but still sad sometimes. And as @HappyVibes wrote, if you can let it bring you together rather than apart, then you'll be all the stronger for when you have your successful pregnancy and carry that baby to term! 💕😊

susiebluebell · 18/10/2020 11:28

@MoMof4xx I think it's reallllyyy common that cycles change slightly after mc - some of the ladies on here have their own monthly adventures trying to figure it out! Frustrating but nothing abnormal I wouldn't say.

Does anyone else struggle tagging people on here and end up clicking the name a million times??

MoMof4xx · 18/10/2020 11:31

@susiebluebell thanks for your reply. I just hope it sorts itself out. I have a clearblue monitor but the sticks are £26 a box lol.
X

HappyVibes · 18/10/2020 12:00

@MoMof4xx as @susiebluebell mentioned, it’s absolutely very very common for AF post MC to take it’s time to settle & get back into a rhythm again. Mine is now back in a rhythm and pattern but it’s different pattern than pre MC. I’ve just been learning the new pattern of my body. But some people have a few months of a bit of randomness & then they do resume back tomorrow MC. It’s all completely different per person, BUT definitely not uncommon. Not helpful for us when we already feel so confused about everything, but nothing to worry about - just try and get in the know of how your body is working 💓xxx

2alreadywantanother · 18/10/2020 13:39

@rumples I ovulated 3wks after surgical management, using cheap opks. So deffo track if u want to try straight away. Xx

@emmaam so sorry your joining us here. 100% your not alone. After the 1st time I was exactly the same. Between hormones and emotions your gona be all over the place. It does go back to normal. But you will hit waves of emotions randomly so expect that. We are all here for u. Look after urself xx

Sallyjo27 · 18/10/2020 14:26

Hi all congratulations to those with BFPs this month!
Sorry to all who have joined!
How is everyone?
I’m currently on CD34 on my 3rd cycle since my 3rd miscarriage. My usual cycle is 31 days and I have no idea what’s going on. I’m pretty sure taking proceive has messed my cycle up completely and I don’t think I’ve ovulated this month. I’ve taken about 129 tests and all BFN so it’s not that. I just want AF to come now as I’m getting fed up of waiting. My ava bracelet says I ovulated but I honestly don’t think I have as I haven’t had a solid smilie or a positive on the cheapies. I’ll attach a pic of my ava data. Does anyone else have an ava bracelet? xxx

Hi all, I had a miscarriage last Thursday 8th October. I think I've passed everything but still got the brown discharge.

I had ivf so it's likely I'll have to go down this route again . I've not conceived naturally in 9 years so doubtful things will change

HappyVibes · 18/10/2020 15:01

Hey @Sallyjo27 sorry babe I don’t have an Ava so can’t help with the interpretation of your data. I hope you get an answer soon as to what’s going on.

@lboogy sorry to hear this. Hopefully you’ll find comfort here & maybe some advice and tips that can help with your TTC journey. If you’ve been TTC for 5 years, have you had oversight from health/fertility clinics? Xxx

chloedancer897 · 18/10/2020 15:53

@Sallyjo27 I have an Ava but I put my temps into fertility friend as it's easier to interpret the data. I'll show you mine. You expect a dip in your temp around ovulation and then a rise after which I don't see on yours however it's not a written rule.

lboogy · 18/10/2020 18:27

@HappyVibes thank you. Yes I've had all the investigations. Unexplained infertility was the diagnosis. Though I have one blocked tube but every thing else is normal. Been through 6 iui's 2 IVFs. Lucky to have one toddler but I desperately want to grow my family.

Good luck with your ttc journey too

chloedancer897 · 18/10/2020 18:54

@Sallyjo27 do you do OPKs alongside your Ava? I think you need both TBH x
