@chloedancer897 yes I do both cheapies and clearblue digital ovulation tests. Neither has shown a strong positive or static smilie x

chloedancer897 · 18/10/2020 19:57

@Sallyjo27 maybe you didn't ovulate this month? Has this happened to you before?x

Sallyjo27 · 18/10/2020 20:04

@chloedancer897 I don’t think I have. I took proceive this month and am sure they’ve messed my cycle up. No this has never happened before 😩 I had my progesterone done last month and that confirmed I’d ovulated. I’m waiting for my results from this month x

chloedancer897 · 18/10/2020 20:14

@Sallyjo27 I've never tried proceive. Is it just a supplement?

2alreadywantanother · 18/10/2020 20:21

I'm taking proceive and got a peak the other day and near 100% I ovulated. I got the women and men pack and can honestly say they are doing wonders for DH. His form, his energy. Deffo worth the money. Anyone I know have difficulty ttc and attending fertility clinics were advised to be on it as they are the best seemingly

Sallyjo27 · 18/10/2020 20:46

@2alreadywantanother yes I’ve heard lots of good things about them, but I do find it strange the first month I’ve taken them it’s the first month I haven’t ovulated, I’ve been tracking my cycle for 3 years and have always had positive ovulation test every cycle. They haven’t had much of an effect on my DH either that we’ve noticed. As with all supplements, they have a different effect on everyone. To be honest I’m not sure if it’s coincidence or not but I won’t be taking them again, I’ll be going back to preconceive x

2alreadywantanother · 18/10/2020 22:01

100% @sallyjo27 could be something in them.that doesn't agree with u. My friend couldn't take pregnacare

PinkFizz19 · 18/10/2020 22:56

Hey ladies, thanks for the new thread. Sorry I've been MIA..Congrats to any new BFP I've missed.

I got my static Smiley today (CD 11) on clearblue OPK so DTD and lined DH for the next few days Wink

Sending everyone lots of baby dust xxx

@EmmaAM hi 👋🏻 sorry for your loss. If it helps I cried the first time we dtd after the mc. That trying to get back to normal hits you hard I think. We ttc straight away so like someone else said it felt like a betrayal because it’s almost like trying to replace the baby lost. I did fall pregnant again straight away but I still grieve the first one. (We had unexplained infertility and had tried for 5 years.) I read something the other day that said you never get over it but you learn to live with it. Best of luck when you are ready to ttc ❤️

@susiebluebell yeah I regularly struggle to tag soooo annoying lol x

susiebluebell · 19/10/2020 08:45

@Pugprincess it winds me up so much haha! Hope you and baby are doing well x

Pugprincess · 19/10/2020 10:41

@susiebluebell yes both good I think thanks lol, still get anxiety. 14+2 now x

MSG92 · 19/10/2020 11:17

Hi @EmmaAM, sorry to hear you are joining here. Its a great group as we are all going through similar things. I personally didn't get upset, the day it happened I ran myself a bath and cried a bit to let it all out then that was it... But I'm not an emotional person and I don't really cry in front of anyone, we are all different so that's just how you are dealing with it which is totally fine for you. I'm still TTC after my CP in July, but I think it'll get easier when I get a BFP again, I'm not upset but I do think occasionally, I should be X weeks by now which just makes me disappointed that it happened.

@re6ecca I would not know where to begin to check my cervix! All I day atm is take ovulation tests.

Sorry @Sallyjo27 I don't use anything other than ovulation strips currently, could stress be keeping AF at bay?? Have you discussed with GP?

MSG92 · 19/10/2020 11:18

@re6ecca that should say "I would not know where to begin to check my cervix! All I do atm is take ovulation tests."
Bloody phone!

Rumples · 19/10/2020 12:45

@HappyVibes @2alreadywantanother I thought that opks weren't accurate after MC for some reason but now I've seen your posts I've just ordered some so thankyou! 😊

2alreadywantanother · 19/10/2020 13:33

@rumpled that might be the case but I never heard it. Maybe some on here gave more info on it.

@pugprincess that's a nice story and yes I get you, about learning to get on with it.
Did u get pregnant b4 af came back or how long. Really hope to catch before Christmas if its possible 😥💕

2alreadywantanother · 19/10/2020 13:33

@rumbles god only knows who I tagged above lol

Katy34 · 19/10/2020 15:16

Hi ladies, hope you are all well, my DH and I have been TTC for two years and have had two MC last year, I am 35 and he is 55( he has 4 adult children, 10 grandkids and 1 great grandchild,) and the refer to me as mum or granny, but we really want a baby together, I am currently 4 days late for AF but keep getting BFN, have had blood work done to check my hormone levels( got that done just over two weeks ago) and due to slight elevation in my estrogen and an other hormone(can't remember which) they want to do further blood tests, but because my period late the doctor said its best to wait and see if I am pregnant, advised next to start prenatal just incase and to test again in a week if af doesn't show up! None of my usual period symptoms, just feeling tired, bit bloated, nauseous and a bit dizzy now and then!

Forest27 · 19/10/2020 15:41

Hi everyone! I hope you don’t mind me joining!

I’m TTC after being given the all clear following a molar pregnancy. It’s our first month of properly trying. I’m on CD 29 and I’m due AF on Thursday. I’ve had negative tests and I’m trying to wait until
Thursday to test again but it’s hard! I’ve been using internet cheapies which have mixed reviews! I might treat myself to a First Response if there’s no signs of AF on Thursday.

I wouldn’t test as I’ve had a lot symptoms similar to PMS but I’ve also felt so nauseous to the point I’ve been heaving in the bathroom and one very slight pink spot when I wiped yesterday (TMI sorry)!

Thursday seems like it’s so far away I don’t know how I’ll wait! Grin

Good luck to everyone still getting / waiting to test!

Pugprincess · 19/10/2020 16:08

@2alreadywantanother yes I was super lucky and caught before the first AF but as I say I’d had 5 years of ttc before I fell with the one I eventually lost and it was my first baby so I honestly don’t think I could have coped with anymore ttc. It’s still really scary though. I get spotting and had a bleed at 9 weeks which turned out to be a haematoma outside the uterus. I still just try to take one day at a time. Best of luck with your journey and hope you get a wonderful Christmas surprise 💝

Welcome @Forest27 and @Katy34 sorry for your losses xxx 🤞🏻 For you both x

2alreadywantanother · 19/10/2020 16:28

@pugprincess that's fantastic you caught so quick. Good to hear positive stories that it happens quick for some.
Yeah I cant complain in the sense we only started ttc and caught quickly. Fingers crossed it happens so quick again. All the best during the rest of your pregnancy xx

Katy34 · 19/10/2020 17:46

@Pugprincess thank you, that must have been so scary for you having a bleed at 9 week!! Glad you and baby are doing ok now 🤞 everything goes smoothly for the rest of your pregnancy!! It's difficult not to get excited but like the other ladies on here, when you have had a MC ( or more) it's difficult to not be scared and worry, I use the Ovia app to track my cycles and if I am pregnant and everything goes smoothly then I will be 13 weeks at christmas! And could finally tell my dad about baby( he has been hinting at wanting a gran baby for years, but doesn't know about our previous two MC) it's so difficult not to get your hopes up isn't it?! Trying to stay positive but scared at the same time x

Jazper · 19/10/2020 18:16

Hi @Katy34 , you have a similar age gap to that of me and my OH but minus all the grandchildren. He does have two grown up children and I have three young children of my own. I have just got my bfp after 7 months of ttc post mc in Feb. Praying this one sticks but as your post resonated with me, I just wanted to say hello, welcome and I wish you all the luck in the world.
Do you track ovulation? Are you definitely 4 days late or could you have ovulated late this cycle?

susiebluebell · 19/10/2020 18:17

@lboogy @Katy34 @Forest27 Welcome you three! Xx

susiebluebell · 19/10/2020 18:25

AF turned up a couple of days early for me, so dealing with delightful cramping and loo dashes. Quite disappointed but also always good to know exactly where I am cycle-wise. Trying to not give in to feeling hard done by, as we've only been trying for a year, but there's nothing wrong with us so I selfishly feel it should just 'happen'! 🤡

Hope everyone is having an OK start to the week?

MSG92 · 19/10/2020 18:53

@susiebluebell nothing wrong with feeling hard done by!! Every cycle feels like forever whether you've been trying 1 month or 2 years, you are very positive still. Allow yourself a pit of self-pity, might help you feel better! Then pick yourself up and crack on again!

We've got to DTD tonight... Not ovulating but we decided every 2 to 3 days throughout the month, but I just don't feel in the mood when we HAVE to do it, does anyone else feel like it's more of a chore because you have to DTD based on ovulation rather than because you want it?
