@HappyVibes thank you!!!! Grin

SS123456 · 10/11/2020 08:08

@MSG92 oh yay congratulations!! 😁❤️

Do you mind if I ask how far post mc you are?

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 08:12

@SS123456 mine was August, didn't even make 6 weeks the but my positive test was never as strong as this one.

SS123456 · 10/11/2020 09:05

@MSG92 thank you that is good to know as I am on my first cycle since a 5 week mc last month. So pleased for you 😁🥂

MoMof4xx · 10/11/2020 09:08

@MSG92 congratulations on your lovely news xx

daisyorange · 10/11/2020 09:57

@MSG92 Massive congrats!! This just put a huge smile on my face this morning. Over the moon for you and everyone else with their BFPs - this feels like a lucky thread!

I am feeling so positive today, and not because I think I am pregnant - I actually am certain that I'm not. But for the first time since the MC, I don't feel devastated. I think I have finally let go of the outcome and realised that really, we have to trust the timing of our lives and know that whatever is meant for us, will not pass us by. Everything really does work out exactly as it was intended. The miscarriage really broke my heart but it has taught me patience, compassion, solidarity in my marriage, and lots more. We should never give up hope, the world works in mysterious ways and while it may not make sense now, I am totally sure it all will one day. Sending lots of love and good vibes to you all this week xxx

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 10:07

Thanks @MoMof4 and @daisyorange what a fantastic outlook to have and I totally agree, whilst each month is hard when you aren't getting that BFP you can only trust its for a reason, and I think it makes us even more grateful when it does come.

WatermelonSugar10 · 10/11/2020 10:14

@MSG92 congratulations!!!!!

RichmondLady1981 · 10/11/2020 10:17

@MSG92 oh my gosh this is amazing!!!! Congratulations!! How many DPO are you. That’s such a strong line!!!!

Any other symptoms? I am so moody (PMS) so thinking I’m out already! Ha! Only 6DPO.

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 10:24

@RichmondLady1981 thank you :) I THINK I'm 12DPO but that would make my cycle 2 days longer than normal so between 12-14DPO.

Honestly I was prepared for AF as I have had cramps for 2 days and I'm a bit moody but that's it... I swore she was on the way as they feel like period cramps! I am just super impressed the ovulation test showed I was pregnant, wasn't expecting it to be so clear! Trying not to get carried away as obvs last time it ended in heartbreak

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 10:25

Thanks @WatermelonSugar10

Runnergirl1 · 10/11/2020 12:01

@MSG92 wow congratulations that’s a very positive line x

griff2019 · 10/11/2020 12:50

@MSG92 congratulation! My MC was august too, and agree that my test was never like that, that time and I took it 3 days after AF due date.

This time I took it 3 days before AF and I got a dark line like you! Sooo exciting congrats again xx

Furbsies · 10/11/2020 13:09

Masssssive congratulations @msg92 this is so positive and exciting to hear. I'll definitely be testing in 2 days if no AF. Trying tk keep myself from doing one because I feel I'd rather if it is positive its a strong positive and not in the middle like last cycle. Eventually disappeared

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 13:14

Thanks @Runnergirl1 @griff2019 and @Furbsies
And to all of you, this thread has been awesome, I feel like husbands/oh's will only listen so much during this TTC journey and then you need to rely on others. So thank you all of you for being there through this.

Hopefully it sticks, time will tell. I'm going to stay on here to watch for more BFP's!!

Furbsies · 10/11/2020 13:17

@msg92 and we want to know all about your little beam growing safely!! Xxx

griff2019 · 10/11/2020 13:18

@MSG92 hope you don't mind me asking, with your MC in august how far along was you. We found out on 29th August with clear blue detecting 1-2weeks so dated approx 4 weeks and then MC on 2nd August . I'm now 4+6 feeling positive x

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 13:22

@Furbsies aww thanks, I'm gonna have an early scan at about 8 weeks just because of last time.

@griff2019 I think I was 5 and a half weeks or thereabouts.

Last time it all started after DTD so I don't know if I should be mean and say no sex for a few weeks...I'm just conscious about it, also I workout almost every day so I'm nervous about that too now, despite advice saying its fine to continue as normal! I kind of want to just lay in bed and not move so as not to disturb anything lol

griff2019 · 10/11/2020 13:24

@MSG92 that's so strange that you say that it was the exact same for me we did that and then it started. I'm avoiding for sure this time x

Furbsies · 10/11/2020 13:44

@msg92 im Asian and one of the things in our culture is to not have sex for a few weeks after dtd.. Like I think it's recommended to wait 3 to 6 weeks in some cases.

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 13:46

@Furbsies thank you, I think I will make him wait until I'm a few more weeks along

Lollol86 · 10/11/2020 14:07

@MSG92 congratulations that's amazing news. I'm just over 16 weeks and have on just dtd for the first time since I found out I was pregnant xx

Lollol86 · 10/11/2020 14:07

Only

daisyorange · 10/11/2020 14:26

@griff2019 @MSG92 my MC was 5 weeks exactly and it also started after DTD... I never even thought about it but seems like a pattern here!

griff2019 · 10/11/2020 14:28

@daisyorange I mean I know they could never say for certain but yes, at the time I did think it was the reason but then you google and come to realise that there are a number of reasons all unconfirmed of course, I think whether it was or wasn't we will never know but for now I shall be avoiding.

It does sound like a pattern though doesn't it
