Hi All,

I really hope you are all OK.

I just wanted to pop on to say that I'm taking a full step back from the thread.

With everything going on, I just don't feel like it's the right place for me as I keep dipping in and out which isn't fair.

If someone could take over starting the new thread as I'm conscious that it's about to come to an end that would be fab?

To anyone who I've spoken to loads who is still here - my inbox is open, please keep in touch ❤️

Sending you lots of love and luck for the future xxx

@VP91x - I completely understand! I try to take a step back these days after the first few months of being on here a lot! I don’t know how to start a new thread but will definitely try!

@HappyVibes thank you for sharing your experience of medical management. I’m still waiting. This bit sucks the most to be honest..I can cope with it happening a second time, even though it’s rubbish - but it’s not so fun waiting for it to start! If nothing happens I would rather be at home - but I’m a red head and we apparently bleed more - so that thought scares me a bit as medical management is known to cause more bleeding. But then, I also don’t react well to general anaesthetic! I’m hoping my body will click into gear over the next few days!

Has anyone ever used home blood test kits? My sonographer suggested B12 deficiencies, thyroid problems and low progesterone were linked to recurrent mc. I’m on 2, and I read only abiut 1% of women will have 3 in a row - but 2 in a row is 2% so not that much difference!

I had cd21 bloods done, and all bloods came back normal, but it transpires that I was 7dpo (so a week pregnant from ovulation) so I don’t know if that would have affected my results!

susiebluebell · 10/11/2020 19:10

Hey @VP91x so glad you feel able to take a step back for yourself when you need to, and do come back if you want! We will figure out the new threads. Wishing you all the best xx

@MSG92 I'm so happy for you! Got everything crossed that it continues smoothly. Can I have some of your baby dust please? 😛 We've dtd a lot the last three days in my peak and now into the blessed TWW! Aaah! X

Lollol86 · 10/11/2020 19:24

@VP91x hope you are ok. Feel free to message on WhatsApp when you need a chat xx

SS123456 · 10/11/2020 21:36

@Bellabubble I have done two blood tests through an online company called medichecks. One was a CD3 fertility test and I have also done the full thyroid test too

HappyVibes · 10/11/2020 22:18

@Bellabubble I’ve used medichecks - they’re really efficient and really comprehensive in their reports. Could you not go through your GP though for see given your recent experience? I only went through medichecks privately because it was before MC etc so I just did it for reassurance at the start of our TTc journey - so I knew nhs wouldn’t do it per say at that point xxxxx

MSG92 · 10/11/2020 22:35

@susiebluebell thank you!! Oh gosh the dreaded TWW, I hope it goes quickly for you!

Firevie · 10/11/2020 23:39

@HappyVibes I’m so sorry to hear about AF hun!! I genuinely thought this month was your month. I’m in the same boat as you as she’s just shown her face! Ugh! I must admit I had a feeling it wouldn’t be this month but I’m still devastated. Everything is a bit crap at the moment - my work, seeing my mum frail and in pain, being away from OH...all of it sucks! So I really hoped the universe would send me my baby but nope instead the universe sent me AF! I’m bit early for my AF actually at 11DPO - she obv couldn’t wait!
Anyway, there we go again next month!
@VP91x oh no I’m so d at prey to see you leave but equally understand you need time away from this! Wishing you all the very best hun! Thanks for having made this group what it is - a lifesaver! Xxx

Pugprincess · 11/11/2020 00:32

@VP91x thank you for all the support you have given to me and many others. Sad to see you go and hopefully will speak again. Best wishes for you and your family for the future ❤️

Congratulations @MSG92 ❤️❤️❤️

Hayley19835 · 11/11/2020 07:39

@VP91x all the luck in the world! You have been so supporting to so many during your time on the threads 🥰

RichmondLady1981 · 11/11/2020 07:48

Thank you so much @VP91x. We will miss you!

Anyone know how to make a new thread? 😬 🤷‍♀️

familybythesea · 11/11/2020 07:56

@VP91x Thank you for all your kind words and support. I can totally understand the need to take a step back and hope it really helps. Hoping so much you return in the near future with good news xxx

@HappyVibes I’m so sorry lovely :( I have been wondering how you got on and I’m disappointed for you that this wasn’t your cycle. The gynaecologist I saw said chemical pregnancies are really common and it’s not necessarily a reason to worry - I’m in the same position as you and fretting about progesterone etc, but try not to get too concerned about it because I think if it’s a strong pregnancy the progesterone should kick in properly. In the case of my DS it did (3 years ago now admittedly) and I had a chemical pregnancy the month before him. Interested to hear what you find out though if you don’t mind sharing. I’m rooting for you!

@Bellabubble so very very sorry. It’s such a difficult thing to go through, but particularly more than once. Sending love.

@MSG92 congratulations! What a beautifully dark line!

Furbsies · 11/11/2020 10:15

Hey all, this cycle started good and has ended up much the same as the last one. No sign of AF. Ans BFN to go with it. Has anyone got anything to share regarding how long it took for cycle to be back to normal post MVA... I had to do that because it was taking me longer than a whole month to naturally MC

VP91x · 11/11/2020 12:24

Hey all thank you so much for your kindness and yes, hopefully one day I will return with good news.

I'm going to start the new thread and post it below because I know its coming to an end and I'd hate for anyone to get lost ❤️

As I said before my inbox is open xx

@Furbsies
I noticed I have more cramps and heavier periods post mc. It will happen when everything is recovered, nutritional reserves are back where they need to be and your hormones are back to normal. I aint rushing mother nature as she was a bitch to me last time!! You will get there 🙏 🌈 xxx

chloedancer897 · 12/11/2020 17:35

elsimo · 26/11/2020 07:25

Hi there everyone,

New to this forum and looking for some hope.
So I had a mc in 2016 and fell pregnant quickly after and had my little girl in 2017.
We have been trying for a second for over a year and finally fell pregnant with twins which stopped growing at 6 weeks which we found out at 8 weeks. I had surgical managment yesterday.
We have had all the fertility tests and there was no issue with me or my partner.
The only thing thats keeping me going is the thought of trying again and hoping that I am super fertile following this and it doesn’t take me another year to conceive!!
Any positive stories/tips?
