BFN 12dpo , not even a hint of a line feel so distraught anyone else had the same this month?

@slicedinhalf have you seen the pregnancy check app that you can get to change the lighting etc of the picture? Apparently this something helps get a better image for seeing the lines

Oh no, of course I was setting myself up for failure. I still am convinced though. Unfortunately I can't go to Tesco's until later tonight so will just do another test in the morning. Even though I've said I won't thanks @Swest30, I'll download it! I've just put it into negative and still can see a little something, must just all be my in head

@Bumblebei ok so you don't have age weighing heavily against you and you've had two kids before. You'll be fine! If you get ov pain then suppose you don't need to poas but you could try just to make sure or track cm and temp too just to be sure. It's probably because you're actually ttc now whereas before you weren't. It's a weird process right!

@notyetamumbuttrying how long have you been TTC if don’t mind me asking? I tested yesterday with a cheap test and bfn. Just went and bought early response tests and not sure when to test again. Don’t want to test too early but the waiting is driving me insane 🙈 sounds absolutely mad as I have two children but I feel so new to all this

@Bumblebei no, course not! 8 months now and heading into 9 if my period arrives on Sunday! U can test with an early tomorrow morning and then all normal ones can be used once AF is due. Bless you, it's because you're actually trying now. Doesn't make sense does it.

@notyetamumbuttrying from reading what you’ve said above you sound like you are having all the right signs this month. OH is getting a little fed up with me saying I have all the signs every month and it’s just PMS but I just convince myself I am. Thank you, I shall test in the morning and fingers crossed for you that AF is a no show! X

@Bumblebei I feel like I'm pregnant every month too lol! I've stopped telling hubby this now as it just gets his hopes up! I'm gonna test again in the morning too as think I was too early the other day. Good luck n keep us posted!

@Superstar41 so do I! Had them on n off all day. Don't know what to think tbh. Will you just wait to see if it comes before retesting?

@notyetamumbuttrying hello lovely x I have had them on and off all afternoon too! it's crap isn't it ?? Keep looking at my original tests I did yesterday trying to convince myself I could see a line lol ! I haven't tested since and won't now until after monday to see is AF arrives, just too heart wrenching! How about you ? X

@Superstar41 aww bless you! Mines in the bin lol! I'm gonna test again tomorrow and then if negative expect AF on Sunday. If she doesn't arrive then I'll prob test again in a couple days. I'm not feeling too hopeful now!

Tested again this morning at 14dpo with a FRER and still BFN so AF is on her way for tomorrow! Anyone else tested again or just waiting for the inevitable now?

I also tested with a cassette test and it was a bfn.
I calculated that from my ovulation date, my period should come on the 19th as opposed to the 13th as I had previously calculated.
I just ovulated late.
It's driving me mad though. I have all the symptoms I had with my previous pregnancy, but just bfn.
Just wish it would come now so I can get it over with x

I tested too and bfn so same as you guys just resigned myself for AF to appear. I completely convinced myself this month so don’t want to test again and keep seeing it as it’s driving me mad too 🙈

I have worked out I'm due on 20th but it’s been all over the place last two months. I used the ER test too. It’s such a rollercoaster. I had cramps for several days, back ache, heavier boobs and now everything has disappeared

@Bumblebei I'm still aching really low down and have nausea now but it's defo period coming. Ah so you're not out just yet then, you still have a few days to go! Best of luck 🍀

Hi hope I can join. 12dpo and BFN this morning with a First Response. Due AF in 2 days (Monday 18th) had so many symptoms, not imagining it at all as I've never felt so exhausted been struggling at work and falling asleep early, boobs hurting a LOT and feeling sick but seems it isn't to be. Shouldn't have got my hopes up!

10dpo and a very clear negative. Am incredibly crampy today but I think this often happens a few days before AF - although only lasts a day or so.

I’m due anywhere between yesterday (4 weeks since last af) and Tuesday (2 weeks since ovulation)

Hi ladies, hope you don't mind me joining... I'm so relived I'm not the only one feeling disappointed by AF each month... We've been TTC for one year now and I've literally not had anyone to speak to! Some lovely ladies from another thread have helped me though and suggested I do share with those close to me to share the weight that TTC puts on you! I bought a clear blue monitor and used it for two cycles.. Only just got a peak smiley face so we shall see..

Hi all 🙂 it’s so much better having others to talk to who are going through the same emotions. Makes it easier knowing others are having these anxious next few days of waiting to see if AF appears.

@notyetamumbuttrying you never know it’s not over until it appears but I know it’s a horrible feeling when you get those signs of AF. I’ve got everything crossed for you 🤞

Hi all, how is everyone feeling today?

Firstly, Welcome to the newbies!

I have a quick question - I think I may have got the timing wrong with my ovulation as I didn't use an OPK. My apps estimated ovulation around 2nd/3rd May based on my cycles. However I had sharp ovulation pains/cramps in my left side on the 4th, does this mean that I would have ovulated on or around the 4th? it's our first month trying again for baby #2 and it feels like I'm completely new to this all over again.

Thanks @Bumblebei but it's defo coming. Had sex this morning and have spotted since (tmi sorry) so it's on it's way! I've been for a nice socially distance walk and park sit down with my neighbour and I feel so much for better getting out and feeling normal today. I'm ready for AF now and for a positive month ahead!
@slicedinhalf I would say it was the 4th if you usually get ov pain, go off your body rather than the app. Can you log ov pain on the 4th and then it should shift your ov day for you.
