BFN 12dpo , not even a hint of a line feel so distraught anyone else had the same this month?

I didn’t see your post asking about a scan sorry! I’ve just reached 20 weeks and have my anomaly scan tomorrow..so nervous and hoping with everything that all is as it should be

@Highheels87 oh hey 👋🏾 you had a name change. Nice to hear from you. So next steps are a referral to a urologist and fertility clinic. And a repeat SA in Nov if we've not had the referral through.
Good luck for your scan! Are you gonna find out the sex?

Glad you are on the road to getting some answers although all the waiting must be awful. I’d not heard about it until I came on here tbh and it’s really opened up my eyes to the journeys so many go through.

Thank you, we went for a private scan as partners still not allowed and told it’s a little boy after two girls will see if they can confirm today but as long as baby is ok I’ll be over the moon! As you can probably tell my stress and anxiety still hasnt got better over the months. Good luck with your scan today I imagine you’re very nervous too

@Highheels87 it's the pits but not a lot I can do. This ones all on hubs, and he's been good so far. Stopped smoking, limiting booze, eating oranges and now doing the proxceed plus sachets so he's trying. He even went for a run on sat!! He's not overweight, more likely underweight but he does have a sedentary job so doesn't get to move much.
A boy would be fab after two girls! Best of luck for today! I'm not nervous today actually, more concerned for the sonographer as I came on this morning

@notyetamumbuttrying certainly sounds like he’s doing all the right things. Can’t imagine the pressure he must be feeling but hopefully this part of your journey will bring you all the answers you need. I’ve got to be rescanned at 32 weeks to check babies kidneys again so scan didn’t go as well as I had hoped for

They said one appears slightly larger than the other so want to check again in a few weeks that the urine empties how it should. The measurement is on the border of what’s normal and hopefully this has rectified itself in the coming weeks. So worrying and there’s absolutely nothing I can do but wait

@Highheels87 yeah it did but I have a small fibroid, she said nothing to worry about tho so will try not to.
Ah that is worrying, I hope you get through these next couple of weeks ok. Hopefully it rectifies itself! X

@notyetamumbuttrying Hi thanks for asking, I had a horrible dark few days of being really upset but now I’ve spoken to a few other mums I feel a little reassured as most babies have been fine with monitoring, scans and antibiotics once they are born. Keeping every single thing crossed that all is ok at the next scan. How are you?

@Highheels87 I'm glad you're at the other end of it now and can see clearer. It's great you've been reassured! I'm ok thanks. Got a smear tomorrow and DH has his urologist appointment next week so things are ticking along.

@notyetamumbuttrying good luck with the urologist definitely sounds like things are progressing and hopefully they can get to the bottom of things for you both. Good luck with the smear too. Not sure why but I always get worked up beforehand when in reality the actual test itself is over before it’s even started! I’ll pop back on and see how you’re getting on really do hope your dream becomes reality in the very near future! X

@Highheels87 how are you doing? Have you had the next scan yet? My scan went well. All normal apart from a small fibroid that isn't anywhere bad so can ignore it. Dh had his urologist appointment today and doesn't have a varicocele so that's good! He had a blood test to check hormone levels and will get an ultrasound too. Still waiting on fertility referral so making slow progress.

@notyetamumbuttrying hiya 🙂 not yet it’s on 29th December when I’m 32 weeks seems a long time away yet. That’s sounding very positive, hopefully the other checks come back the same showing no problems! Have they give you a time scale for when you may be seen? The waiting is difficult isn’t it? I’m glad we have Christmas coming up to keep us busy

@Highheels87 ah yes, a while away yet then. Christmas will defo distract you!
No timescales so god knows lol! Yeah hate waiting around, bloody infuriating when you see time ticking away as well as your age! We've put our own time limit on things before going private anyway so that's in our back pluckers at least!

@notyetamumbuttrying how old are you if you don’t mind me asking? I know what you mean about that clock ticking. I am so so thankful that we were lucky enough to fall pregnant. Joining here really has opened my eyes seeing the struggles so many couples go through and I can’t even imagine how mentally hard it must be. You’re doing all the right things though, hopefully you won’t even need to go down the private route but glad it’s there if it’s needed

@notyetamumbuttrying ahh ok still young then, I know what you mean though as it’s pressure for us women and makes sense that you have put a time limit to opt for the private route if necessary
