TTC awhile now

Hey, I've started a more broad thread this month rather than a bus so we can keep it going rather than starting new ones every month.

Here are my stats
TTC no 2 (2 years to have no 1 but we weren't actively trying and I knew nothing about my cycle and DTD not so often)
Cycle 12
AF/BFP 12th Jan
Age 30

I've attached photos of my opks since yesterday. The final one, CD13 pm I did just now. I think it's a bit darker or about the same as my morning one 🤷‍♀️

@BFP2020 I'm CD13 today and due to ov today so hopefully this will be it and tomorrow morning's test will be lighter. Plan to dtd tonight and tomorrow anyway 😊 I'm just worried that my morning test today is darker than my afternoon one? I guess if I dtd today I should be ok anyway?

@Tamalama I would think by the pics your pm one is more positive because the line on the am one seems to be darker in small part of the line

@BFP2020 I took a test this morning and the line was very faint so I think yesterday was definitely positive. I feel bloated this morning, it feels like there's a tight band across my c section scar and I feel rather windy 🤦‍♀️🙈😂 we dtd last night and we'll do it again tonight. I'm not sure we can tomorrow but hopefully we will have done enough. We've dtd at CD10, 11 & 13. I'm CD14 today and we'll dtd again tonight. 🤞

@tamalama whoo hoo so O day is counted as today so if positive yesterday. I'd say if you do tonight u will have done enough. Next month I think I might do cheap OPK's and make sure I DTD day of positive and day after and not worry about any other days just if it happens it happens kid of thing. We did CD 11,13,14,16,and 17 this month. I just think its a bit too stressful on both of us scheduling it.
You had a section too did you have an elective?

@BFP2020 yep I think that the best way to do it. I just got two boxes of opks from Home Bargains, each box was £2.99, much better than clearblue! I found out at 39 weeks my DD was frank breech 😱 so I had to have a c section... x

@Tamalama I live in Ireland so we don't have home bargin. I get a pack of 5 for €1.50 so I'll prob just buy 4 packs to stock up. I don't O till after CD 15 normally so will test From CD 12 just in case. I've just learned that if I do have ENDO it was more than likely caused by the scaring from my section. I went through 24 hours of labour and had to have an emergency c section

@BFP2020 ahh ok. I usually ov CD13/14. Typically CD14 so I start testing at CD11 😊 I hope you don't have any c section scarring or endo 😕☹️ when are you being tested for endo?

@Tamalama I've my first app next wed that's just to advise the gynaecologist of my symptoms. 🙈

I've uploaded a photo comparing yesterday evening's opk with this morning's one. This morning's line is non existent!

@Tamalama that's crazy mine normally faze out at least you know you have Ovulated now anyway are u still going to DTD tonight? X I know I'm out this month cramps are getting worse and I've taken ponstan and can still feel them 🙈

A bit about me. I'm 29. I came off Pill August 2018. Started TTC November 2018
Had alot of long cycles and a very stressful job. Found a calmer job closer to home so had about 4 months off TTC in 2019 before starting again October 2019.

My cycles vary between 28 and 36. Average of 30 or 32 depending which app I look at.

I've been struggling with the build up and disappointnent each month lately. Hearing other people finding it fun and my fb feed full of bambino not helping.

Hoping to find some women who can relate to my situation.

@BFP2020 yes it's amazing how quickly the line goes from dark to almost nothing! I read online that women aged 35+ can ov within 12 hours of a positive opk. We didn't dtd in the end last night, we were both pretty tired. I'm hoping we've just done enough. I guess dtd a couple of days before I got my positive opk and on the day itself will hopefully be enough.
I've got quite a bit of cramping today though and I still feel bloated and windy.

We have only just started trying so not sure what's normal and what's not!

Hey Ladies, good luck to all of you. Is anyone due the BFP any time soon? I'm (not) expecting my period next Friday the 17th ;-) with the OPKs test and amount of DTD we've had, I am very hopeful X

@Johnnybegood2 it's a hard time but it will happen for all of us just takes longer for some ppl!

@tamalama I'm at home today took the day off for Broadband to be installed and I'm sure they just decided to reschedule it 😡
I'm ok today so far 10DPO mostly my pains start in afternoon.

I took a test this month on day 30 and it was negative. So I'm now at the annoying point where I don't know if I'm pregnant but it was too early to test or, I'm not and this is just one of my longer cycles.

So I've just been to the loo and had a lot of ewcm, the only amount I've had at all this month but I got my positive opk 2 days ago 🤷‍♀️ I've just done another opk which is negative as I thought it would be but because I've got ewcm I don't know whether to dtd, even though I got my positive opk yep days ago? 🤔 I'm so confused! Other than the ewcm just now, I've not had any at all this month....

@Tamalama I have that nearly every month about 1or 2 days after O I'd say it just what's left over coming out
