Hey, I've started a more broad thread this month rather than a bus so we can keep it going rather than starting new ones every month.

Here are my stats
TTC no 2 (2 years to have no 1 but we weren't actively trying and I knew nothing about my cycle and DTD not so often)
Cycle 12
AF/BFP 12th Jan
Age 30

Feel free to tag some more @tamalala @Sunflower2019 @ceebee21

Aww so happy for you @BFP2020
@Johnnybegood2!!! Still no luck for us, but we're still trying and your stories to give me hope! Although I am so disappointed every month that's hard to describe. We're on cycle 15 at the moment and had all hormones test. FSH was slightly increased so need to repeat it next month. But nonetheless so so happy for you both. Hope you're feeling well x

Hey!
Congratulations!
I had all the blood work done in February to check my hormones prior to being given my first appointment with the fertility clinic.

All came back normal.

Then got a BFP beginning of March!

I'm now 25 + 6, everything has gone well so far. All scans normal, got my Midwife appointment today to check growth etc.

Being pregnant through the pandemic has been an unusual situation for a first time but it's had its advantages as well (like being able to take long lunch time naps and nobody know). Only downside was my partner not being able to come to the 12 week scan, we managed to get him in for the 20 week one though, so he got to see everything was well together. We've decided to stay team yellow.

Keeping everything crossed for you and a continued healthy pregnancy xx

This thread went very quiet. I will update I got my BFP on Cycle 20 after a laparoscopy and dye test all was fine they didn't find anything wrong. The doctor said that there could have been mucus in my tubes and the dye test would have flushed that. Currently 6+3 today had an early scan and all ok so far! 🤞🏼

Did anyone else have any luck? @swirls3468 @Kataa @Hola84 @Johnnybegood2

Quick update, Just had a transvaginal scan and everything is clear. Slight endometriosis on my left ovary but it’s ok. I’m due to ovulate on Friday and I’ve had some twinges. She said she can see the egg is there on right ovary and ready to drop. I knew I could feel it every month! X

@BFP2020 So, I've seen the doctor, she did a pelvic exam and couldn't feel anything suspicious but I have a transvaginal scan booked for 26th February. Period pains are just awful, I was off work with them for two days last cycle. Af due this Sunday and I already have mild vaginal cramps that feels like it's pulsating 😕
How are you getting on? X

@Tamalama That's rough on you poor thing. So what CD are you today? I didn't O till CD 18 this month so we will nearly be close in our cycles if you O early. Are they ding a Scan??

I'm good 1 DPO today not holding my breath as dunno did we DTD enough but then again it only take one. The temping is actually good My positive OPK was wed morning and had O pain on one side yesterday morning and temp rise then this morning so it confirmed I ovulated Yesterday. x

@BFP2020 sorry for late reply. I was due to see the doctor on Wednesday for a pelvic exam but I've come down with a gland infection so I cancelled the appointment because I felt so rough. It's now rescheduled for next Friday.
Yep, I'm now in my tww, according to my app I'm due to ov on Sunday, but it always seems to happen the day after at cd14 but I'm working on the fact it may be between Saturday-Monday. We've not dtd yet due to me feeling unwell but we'll try and do it as much as possible this weekend.
I don't temp and I'm not using opks this month, I've deleted some of my apps as I was using too many and obsessing. I'm just going to see how it goes this month. I'm just waiting to see how next Friday goes really and progress from there.
How are you doing? X

@Tamalama Acupunture went well she has stopped me eating bread and pasta and she has me tempting. Do you temp? She gave me info that I didn't know about temping. She said after your temp rise that confirms O has occurred, the temp should stay up for at least 10 days and if it doesn't then it will be impossible for Implantation to occur.
I only started temping on CD 13 as I was waiting for my thermometer. But I haven't Ovulated yet anyway CD 15 today and OPK still very faint so I prob won't O until CD 17 this month at this stage. She seems to think she will be able to get rid of my pain she thinks everything is clogged and her goal is to unclog it. I normally get bad O pain and pressure have a bit of pressure today but not as bad as normal so I have everything crossed she will be magic and get rid of my pain it will be a bonus if I get a BFP this month or next but I'm not holding my breath.

Did you go to the GP? You will be nearly in you FW again soon it goes so fast. x

Sickness stopped at 2pm. I think I just have a huge period coming - I've had 2 'ok' periods since coming off the pill so feel the real deal is on its way. I also have really bad lower back pain.
Tests still BFN. 🤷🏻‍♀️ how are you all ladies

Tamalama · 21/01/2020 20:20

@ablisha how are you feeling now?

@BFP2020 I've not tried acupuncture, I'm a bit scared of needles 😂 let me know how it goes.

So af has properly arrived so that's me out for this month even though we dtd at the right times and I did dry January. I'm going to ring the gp tomorrow to make an appointment for next week about my cramping and pains.

ablisha · 21/01/2020 13:52

@Tamalama was due on yesterday and have woken up with diarrhoea and sickness. I've had three BFN so I'm definitely linking it to my period starting. I only came off the pill end of October but I've never had anything like this before!

Morning everyone. I've not come on yet (due on today) but before I do I suffer with intense bowel cramps, constipation and contractions type pain. These started last night but have eased off but all along my lower abdomen and c section scar it feels extremely tender and sore, like it’s bruised. It’s hurting constantly at the moment and I can hardly move.

I have strong prescribed painkillers to try and keep the pain at bay but it’s not working. I’ve also been using hot water bottles overnight to try and relieve the pressure.

I know I’ll need to get it checked out next month once my period has finished to rule things out but I was just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing. I find that once I have a motion the bowel pain eases considerably and that's usually when my period arrives....

I am able to go private for my Laparoscopy and dye test but it will still be March before I get an appointment. So for now I'm chilling with the TTC we will still DTD around FW but I'm not expecting anything to happen and I hope to get answers! In other news we have decided on a venue and date to get married so loads to keep me busy 😍 xx I'll still be on checking in everyday and updating on any progress with my appointment xx

Hi @johnnybegood2
I’ve been through all the testing and am happy to answer any questions.
I went to the gp with my partner after over a year of unprotected sex and a further 6 months of active trying with ovulation tests etc.
She asked us about how long we’d been trying, whether I was taking folic acid and then sent us off for tests. The first tests were done through the gp and had to be done before we could be seen at the fertility clinic at the hospital. I had blood tests for ovulation, thyroid, blood count etc. and also had an ultrasound done. My partner had a sperm analysis, which he had to get a specific form for and book a time to ‘deposit’ it at the hospital, that took a while as there weren’t many appointments available.
Once the gp tests were done I was sent an appointment for a hycosy and after that given an appointment to see the fertility consultant.
Hope that helps, the process probably varies from place to place but the tests are likely to be similar. Let me know if you have any questions! 😊

I've decided to bite the bullet and go and see the doctor. Got an appointment booked for this Wednesday. Not really sure what to expect, if anyone has some experience they can share that would be much appreciated.

Been trying since Nov 2018, finding it all a bit of a chore now tbh and it's starting to effect how I feel about baby dancing in general :(
