Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

@Skyla01 @Mrsrobinson247 @SarahMS I know you wanted to join.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

TTC #1 (2nd pregnancy)
Cycle #2
AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

@mumofboys17 ahhh fingers crossed, it is still early so plenty of time. So hard to manage hope

@mumofboys17 I had implantation blood in my first pregnancy but not in my second (I only have one child, the second pregnancy I did not keep) in the second pregnancy after I found out I was I had excruciating cramps for a few weeks but no blood. Hope that helps x

@quiffy Ohh fingers crossed for you then! There was a study done saying most babies were made around Xmas x

@Quiffy I'm 11DPO, hardly any symptoms today though :(((

@Ellsbells112 that does help loads, thank you x I’ve been having intermittent cramps for about 4 days (at its worst on Sunday) I’m so tempted to crack open a FRER now as I’ve got one upstairs, but I know it’s too early and I’m setting myself up for a fall x

Had such sore boobs this morning and so much cm, definitely more than usual! I can’t be pregnant surely as it would of shown on test yesterday I’m sure! So maybe just hormones settling down??

Now at the hairdressers getting my balayage brightened up 😊

@Ellsbells112 you gonna test tomorrow?

@Katie1109 did you do frer?

@Sunflower2019 Thanks lol, I’m still not so sure! I think I’m around 10dpo today but it’s still a bit of a guess.

I normally have a balyage as well! Haven’t had my hair done for about 6 months now though 😂 thinking I may go darker when I can finally get some time to myself!!
Been sat on the sofa all day with DS1, sounds like a dream but he’s been crying and super clingy, my house looks like a bombs hit it I’ve done zero housework!!

@Mumofboys17 I’m wondering why I’ve got so much CM.. it’s white and there’s loads.. feel like I’ve wet myself, I don’t normally have this much.. what’s yours like? I’m 10DPO too.. not sure what to think this month it’s been so messed up!

I thought about going darker but have gone lighter.. fancied a change as I’m naturally really dark and my hair is super long now, just keep the top nice and dark.

I wouldn’t be surprised if I started my af early with all these cramps, cm and sore boobs, no BFP either!

@Daisy8008 I think no symptoms is sometimes a good thing. Especially when they can be so misleading. Fingers crossed!

So, my Amazon order of shame arrived. I actually ordered four things oops (maca root, angus castus, evening primrose and pre-seed) and DH opened the door. I was expecting him to call be a psycho mentalist but he actually asked which tablets he could take to help. I'm not sure he needs his progesterone boosted but I loved the sentiment all the same. I think he's feeling guilty as it took me two years to get him on board with TTC.

My FRER using this morning FMU is stark white. Not even a glimpse of anything but I think I was kidding myself thinking this is IB. Bleeding is light but dark red, no more clots and mild cramping. I have just removed tampon after several hours and it’s not filled up, but there’s quite a bit there x I’m just treating it as af unless it suddenly stops completely. Ah, and ladies do not bother with cervix position, mine is so high I can touch it only with my nail and it’s soft, so clearly not the textbook low and hard during af x

@Katie1109 Sorry :( onwards and upwards to next month. We can have the TWW fun again

I’m not sure whether my mental health is worth anymore disappointments. I will make a decision in coming days, atm I don’t even want to try again. A lot of people live without children and are happy, I’m sure I can do that too x

@mumofboys17 @Sunflower2019 I'm silly I just did a one step preggo test on a whim and bfn obviiiiiii only 8dpo should have used a first response if any but I thought nah lol I'll test when I'm 12dpo just to be sure with a frer. Sigh I've got so much cm too and I never have it but now I'll just think I'm not and get on with these long ass flights coming up.
@Sunflower2019 do you think maybe you are tho?? Or maybe you're right it's your hormones settling? But if it was a cm would you come on early?? Xx

@Ellsbells112, not silly at all, I’d pee on everything if I could! You got a frer? I don’t think I’m pregnant but these symptoms are odd and making me feel as if my af must be coming, my boobs never hurt tho.. and cm normally isn’t like this, it’s normally creamy for a day but it’s been like this for days, prob is hormones!!!! 😔

Least I have new hair 😂

I’m gonna try be good and if not af by 14th I’ll test.. but I definitely think my chance has gone!

@Katie1109 aah sorry you’re so disappointed, I’ve hated this stage every time! Take some time if you need! How long have you been trying? Mines around 5 months now and seems too long, can’t see how it takes so long xxx

@katie1109 what about just going with the flow? Getting off this forum, not using any opks and not measuring anything. Just dtd when you feel like it and see what happens. Might be a little easier without constant reminders that you’re TTC?

@Katie1109 You know what is best for you at the end of the day. The whole TTC thing is massive and it’s heartbreaking every month when you think you might be, just to have yet another negative test staring you in the face.
After a year of trying for our first, I had one of those months thinking ‘yep. This is it. This is the one’ and whilst on a flight going on holiday when AF came full flow. I cried the entire way to Lanzarote and swore to DH that I was so done with TTC. It was hurting me too much and I threw all my OPK’s, vitamins, pre seed etc in the bin. We booked a few holidays, I applied to Uni and got my place to study nursing... very long story short I got my BFP the next cycle. Completely unexpected and although DS1 was very much wanted, I then cried because I couldn’t believe what we’d done and thought we’d ruined our lives!!
Moral of the story, life has a funny way of working itself out. That’s what I believe anyway. Use Xmas as the perfect excuse to do YOU. Drink/eat what you want, go to parties, maybe even book a spa day, whatever self care means to you.

@Quiffy I might take your advice.
I got home and removed the tampon after an hour in there’s barely anything on it. I have quite bad cramps on my back which never happens, normally suffer from terrible af cramps at the front. I have sanitised a cotton bud so I can see exactly what’s there and this is how it came out. So what the hell its going on?!

@Sunflower2019 Aww always feels good when you get your hair done!! I don't know how to feel I just had a very small glass of wine and it's made me feel awful! My belly hurts and feels so bloated! I've hardly ate today too so it's not from that 😕 I have frer but I'm not going to do one now at least till Friday or Saturday I'll take it to Oz with me . I'm due on Monday.

I don't know what to say for you it all sounds crazy! I'd be pulling my lovekt new hair out!! Xx

I just wish I had a thread like this the first time around!! TTC is enough to drive anyone mad.

It’s crazy isn’t it, we could be living opposite ends of the country to each other and I feel like we’re all on such a personal level that I don’t think I have even with my real life friends 😂😂

@Mumofboys17 now I'm welling up!! It's so great to have support around with family and friends but I guess a lot of us haven't told our nearest and dearest that we're even TTC so it's a pretty lonely journey.

Which is why I'm so grateful for this network. A nice comment or support or advice from a stranger makes my day too, but it's also knowing you're all going through exactly the same stress, worry, confusion, hope, pain and general uncomfortableness, emotion and irritability(!) that keeps me sane. Keep going ladies! Let's make this a lucky TTC thread and take what you can from it xx

The only two people who know are my sister and my OH. My sister I can't really talk to about it because she calls me obsessed 😓 which really hurts, she's been trying to conceive for a year and a half but casually and says "I should do the same" we'll I'm sorry I want the best chances possible every month 😕 anyway, these forums make me feel so much better and just knowing that it's pretty normal to care and worry! X
