Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

@Skyla01 @Mrsrobinson247 @SarahMS I know you wanted to join.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

TTC #1 (2nd pregnancy)
Cycle #2
AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

@Plaw nothing worse

Mumofboys17 · 09/12/2019 12:06

@Katie1109 I’m sure I can see something inverted...... 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 FRER time maybe?! X

Sunflower2019 · 09/12/2019 12:07

@Symptomspotter86 sorry to hear that but still time as yet :)

@gg321 welcome, could you get a different test? I wouldn’t trust a line after the recommended time! Good luck!

@Ange211 no af so keep positive :)

@Katie1109 it’s a little hard to see, do you have one closer up? Are the tests quite sensitive? I wanna tell everyone to use a frer but after this situation with me I don’t even trust them!

Xx

Mumofboys17 · 09/12/2019 12:07

Mumofboys17 · 09/12/2019 12:38

@Katie1109 I didn’t even need to squint for that one! X

Katie1109 · 09/12/2019 12:47

Thanks ladies x I am really, really hoping this is not only an indent or something 😭 FRER will arrive at some point tomorrow. I will save my FMU and do it as soon as it arrives x I will be 13DPO tomorrow 🙏🙏

Quiffy · 09/12/2019 12:58

Got everything crossed for you

Katie1109 · 09/12/2019 13:13

Bad AF like cramps now 😭 why do we give ourselves the false hope ladies? I feel like af is going to show itself any minute now 😭

Fp30 · 09/12/2019 13:21

Huge congrats to those of you with bfp xx

@Sunflower2019 still very much keeping fingers crossed your af doesn't come xx

My af is due at the end of the week desperately trying not to do a test as I know its going to be negative and will be disappointing. Getting loads of pre af symptoms - all of which my dh is convinced are pregnancy symptoms, cried at the diet coke Christmas advert then had to convince him that I always cry at it.

Oh well between Christmas and New year is a nice time for dtd right???

Also feeling you with the guilt, we would have started sooner but I had loads of work stuff I wanted to manage and thought it would just happen as soon as we started trying. So cross with myself for thinking it would be easy!

Quiffy · 09/12/2019 13:27

I feel the same, really crampy stomach and constant pink spotting now. I'd feel more hopeful, but this just feels like a repeat of the 5 day super light period I had last month. Starting out exactly the same, wish it would be it's usual heavy or not at all! Makes you wonder if there's something wrong.

Plaw · 09/12/2019 13:38

Congrats to all the BFPS 😍

Thanks girls, I’m ok, I had a feeling I was out this month, just thought it was funny really that it arrived today of all days.

I’ve my work Christmas party that I am going to enjoy this weekend and going to enjoy a few drinks over Christmas and look forward into the new year/decade and hopefully it is good to us.

I’m sure I’ll be getting the “when are you going to give DS a little brother or sister” over the holidays but I can handle it! This was our 2nd month so I really shouldn’t too too sad! It’s just a funny feeling when you think you have done everything perfect but it can all be luck too.

To think with my DS we were just not using protection, not a care in the world, I hadn’t a clue of when I ovulated or anything and that took 5 months. I had no idea how hard it is to be that lucky with it all. Massive eye opener!

Best of luck to everyone. I can’t wait to see more positives on here. ♥️

Katie1109 · 09/12/2019 13:49

@Quiffy I’ve got everything crossed for you hoping it’s an IB x no spotting here and I never spot before AF, when it arrives it’s in full flow straight away x I’m just sick of waiting now, want to know either way x do you think if there’s nothing on FRER tomorrow then I’m definitely out? I’ll be 13DPO x

Ange211 · 09/12/2019 14:24

I see it! Hope your FRER gives you the same result 🤞
Not sure when AF due @Quiffy I hadn't been using OPKs (we were away) but thought I'd ovulated a couple of weeks ago (always get stabbing pain) but I had that the other day too so who knows 🤷
Basically she could rear her ugly head any day now!

Ange211 · 09/12/2019 14:26

@Quiffy hope it is IB for you 🤞

Quiffy · 09/12/2019 14:43

@Katie1109 since there’s a smidge of something there hopefully a FRER will show tomorrow. I’ve seen people on here not a get a FRER bfp until a few days after af date so you’re defo not out if it doesn’t show.

@ange211 hopefully she doesn’t show at all!

Still spotting but bright red and more now so same as last month. At least I can enjoy a little of the cranberry vodka I made over Christmas, eat lots of cheese and pate and eat the rarest steak ever on out date night on the 20th. Colouring my hair in AF fury as we speak haha. I’m hoping a good old sugar cutting diet in the new year will help get that BFP in 2020. Just going to have to avoid any drunk relatives asking about babies (at least my parents won’t. I’m sure they know we’re trying even if we’ve not admitted it).

Ellsbells112 · 09/12/2019 14:44

Hey ladies
Well I don't know if I'm imagining it or not but I feel quite crampy today and really hungry (maybe I'm just a fatty with that one tho lol) but def crampy not due till 14th December and doesn't look like I've had an implantation dip or anything 🤷‍♀️ maybe it's just my body getting ready early for af

Sunflower2019 · 09/12/2019 14:50

@Ellsbells112 I’m crampy today too and sore boobs and I never get sore boobs but if it was a chemical could still be In my system! Keeping everything crossed for you, I’m due 14th but can’t imagine I’ll be waiting that long as felt quite crampy! You had any cm? Xxx

Ellsbells112 · 09/12/2019 15:44

@Sunflower2019 no cm that I've noticed but definitely crampy?? I really hope it means something but at the same time I don't want to get my hopes up xx

I saw my friend today who's preggers and she said she kept feeling her cervix and it was low and hard the whole time and turns out she was pregnant BTW thought I'd let you and others know xx

Katie1109 · 09/12/2019 15:47

And the cramps have stopped...but for 2 hours they were constant and painful, but I managed to get through it without painkillers x Now its only dull ache/pressure like sensation down there x

Mumofboys17 · 09/12/2019 15:49

@Sunflower2019 @Ellsbells112 can I jump on the crampy bandwagon? 😬😂
I had loads of cramping over the weekend on and off, in the front and on my sides. Not quite as heavy as AF and not had any today. Keep waiting for an implantation bleed or AF to start as I was convinced yesterday.. not even having cm at the moment 🤷🏼‍♀️
Wearing my best white undies today to tempt fate 😂😂

Sunflower2019 · 09/12/2019 15:51

My cm yesterday was really thick and loads of it, haven’t checked today! Gonna go check my cervix in a min, mine was low the last time I checked and closed!
Cramping dull aches and stabbing feelings xxx

Sunflower2019 · 09/12/2019 15:56

My cervix is slightly higher than the other day but still feels closed! Haven’t got cm in my under wear but feels creamy! X
