Hi girls! I know we wanted to start a thread for the ones who didn't get their BFP this month.

Anyone else welcome to join us on our conception journey and looking to test around 2nd week in December.

AF due around 9th September

This is my 1st month using OPKs - anyone got any advice on when to start testing?

@Sunflower2019 yeah but your cervix will be low and closed they say when you aren't pregnant but obvi that's not true all the time that's what I mean, it rises up at diff stages. My friend convinced herself she wasn't preggo because of it lol what are we like! So cervix position means nothing either way UNLESS it does something out of the ordinary lol

@Mumofboys17 you know it's weird because I've had no.l symptoms but today the cramps have started and just like you said they are lighter than af cramps plus I'm super bloated. I don't want to get my hopes up 😓😩

@Ellsbells112 same!! I felt crampy Saturday but dismissed it, then much more yesterday and VERY noticeable. Normally pre-AF cramps are heavy and in my lower back the day before she starts up full flow. It’s still early for me though AF isn’t actually due til next week (35day cycles) so not sure if I’m just being overly hopeful!! X

@mumofboys17 same!! I'm due the 16th so next week Monday! I normally cramp a day or 2 before af starts and yesterday I was having cramps but they were so light I totally dismissed them too!! Ahh I hope it's positive for us! X

After I said I never spot before af...now I found a bit of orange/brown discharge on my panty liner. Sooo...12DPO am I out? x😭 I’ve got a photo but that’s TMI even for you crazy ladies x

@katie1109 orange sounds more promising! Need to keep an eye on it over next day or so. Fingers crossed!

@Katie1109 my implantation bleeding was bright pink/orange with DS1. Quite a bit of it and it was like discharge-y consistency, if that helps?!
And FYI.. Nothing is TMI on here anymore 😉😂 xx

@Mumofboys17...like this? 😂 One second I am full of hope and the next I’m thinking it’s the start of af...although it’s not due till the 12th of Dec!!

I had bleeding before af twice, not sure if it was implantation before a chemical but it only lasted a few hours and was after sex.. good luck @katie1109 xx

@Katie1109 bit hard to tell from the pic but mine was really pink, to the point it surprised me when I saw it, as I’d never seen anything like that before! Only happened the once, was enough to stain my underwear and on wiping at that toilet visit, but nothing afterwards xx

Hello! I hope you don’t mind another newbie. I’ve been watching your posts from afar but plucked up the courage to actually join in. I’m 31 and TTC #1

I’ve had regular 28 day cycles since I came off the pill in April. Only this time I’m currently on CD31, and had two days of light brown spotting (yesterday & today) when I wipe (sorry TMI!!)

For the past few days I’ve felt a bit run down, bloated with a tiny bit of cramping and bouts of nausea, but today I felt exhausted and sick all day. Since AF is a couple of days late I took a CB digital and was so certain it was going to be positive... but it’s not.

Am 13DPO (I use the Clue App but don’t temp, but felt ov pain on the day so pretty sure it’s correct). I’m so confused but just wanted to share with people who understand the mystery of TTC.

@Mumofboys17 I’m so stressed right now I’m in pieces 😭 I’m really, really sorry everyone but there another tmi photo. Why is this happening 12DPO? Af not due till Thursday 😭

@Katie1109 hate to say but start of AF tends to look like that for me sometimes, at least it did last cycle anyway 😕
It could still be implantation bleeding, but it should stay light and then disappear, if it gets any heavier then I’d assume AF is on her bastard way 🙁 xx

@Mumofboys17 my af starts straight away bright red in full flow and it always and I mean always starts in the morning when I get up and go for a wee x I have no cramps atm at all. The timing makes me wonder because I had cramps until about 3:30pm and then an hour later that first spot appeared x ehh I’ll just count myself out. Wish I didn’t order the FRER, what a waste of money. Thanks for support all, I’ll keep you posted on any changes. For now cheese, crackers and a glass of red x

@Katie1109 fingers crossed it’s IB. Sadly that’s how mine started this morning and is now dark red. If you can, make yourself a nice hot drink and try and distract yourself with a film or something. The stress can’t be good for you either way x

@wise0wl have you tried a FRER? I’ve heard the CB ones aren’t too sensitive.

@daisy8008 how’s your first month gone?

I’m feeling awful. I’ve went from niggling cramps to me feeling like my insides are falling out my lady parts. Feel like I’ve spent the last few hours in the loo yuck. Still not heavy or marking a pad but a deep, dark red so defo the old monthly witch. My femometer app is now warning me that my luteal phase is too short, anyone had this? Ordered myself some maca root and pre seed to give it a try this month.

@Quiffy I was getting concerned with a short luteal phase also, cycle had gone down to about 25-26 days. Are you taking pregnacare or something like that? I am taking proceive. I read that vitamin c helps with luteal phase, also selium in Brazil nuts, and I was going to try Angus castus next cycle, apparently should take up to ovulation. Definitely don't be disheartened, there are things to try xx

@ohreally2019 I’m taking pregnacare conception and I’ve ordered some maca root as apparently it can help too. I’ll get some Brazil nuts too! Off to look for some Angus castus too thank you :)

I'm currently medicating with red wine. Hoping af just hurries up over the next few days. Will probably mean my fw will then be over xmas and new year though. But then after too many mince pies and wine it might just make DTD more relaxing lol.

I'm hoping a couple of you get stronger lines the next few days and the bleeding is IB. Would love it for some of us in this thread to get some positive news.

I’ve just looked and my next ovulation date based on app if I come on period is 27th of December... seems weird it’s all happening the same month, straight after Xmas so maybe drunk which may help the relaxation process 😂

How’s everyone feeling? I’m still getting cramps but doesn’t concern me but my boobs hurting is weird.. plus I just dtd and feel like it’s more first time, so sore!!!

Wanna see some more bfps too! Maybe it’s the stress of Xmas putting us all off xxx

Thank you @Quiffy - a very sensible suggestion. I’m going to hold off testing for the next couple of days. I’ve got a work meeting tomorrow that’s going to be a nightmare. If I get another BFN it’s going to make a bad day worse.

Can I join in? Have been having a read to catch up. I’m 9dpo ttc#2 (my son is 22 months)
First proper cycle trying - have used opks and everything this month!
We were super lucky on our first and it just happened easily without us trying. Would be amazing if it happens again. I don’t feel like it has though, I’ve had 2 bfns so far but don’t know why I’ve done it to myself as it’s just too early!

I feel like a might break and test tomorrow. According to my apps I'm due either on Thursday or Saturday. Last cycle was unusually long at 34 days (normally about 31) and I'm currently on day 28.

I’m 30 and ttc #1 cycle #3

This month I have used cheapy opks and clear blue digital which showed me as ovulating on either day 12 or 13.

I’m also temping for the first time and fertility friend gave me the cross hairs for ovulation on cd 12.

I’m currently 19dpo and absolutely terrified to test! I have had 19 high temps since ovulation. Cycles have been erratic the last few months (20, 25, 26, 15, 22) and now on day 31 when prior to ttc I had on average cycles of 28 days. So I’m not sure how late I actually am and I’ve no idea whether this 31 day cycle is just another irregular period and don’t want to get my hopes up.

I’ve decided I’m going to test in the morning at 20dpo but I’m scared!

I don’t feel pregnant at all, a little backache and boobs are starting to get a bit sore on the side.

I think I just need to pull myself together and test with fmu tomorrow - I’ve never been pregnant before so can only imagine a bfn at the moment!
