TWW testing on Halloween?

Hi,

I’m 29 and trying for my first baby. I had a missed miscarriage at the end of August and have decided to try again.

Will be testing around 31 October/1 November (if I can last that long!) so come join if you’re in the same boat.

I currently have terrible back pain. Sciatica flare up which is so painful!! Trying my best not to take any anti inflammatory medication just incase!

Can I join? First cycle back trying for #2 after a MMC in September. Not entirely sure things have settled back down yet, but think I ov'ed on Sunday.

Have four FRER in the press and know full well I'll test on the 30th which is 10 dpo.

Hi all, finally had my static smiley yesterday, as well as a positive IC, so will probably be testing a few days after on the 4th November.

I reckon tests will be done Sunday in my case 🙈 Will be DPO9 or 10.

I'm thinking of testing on Sunday too. I'll be 11/12 dpo

Although am so trying to hold out so I don't get a negative and instead get some symptoms.

I reckon I'll already know with the temp tracking though if I'm out or not. It dropped this morn, 6dpo, will see what 2moro brings!

Hurry up Sunday, I'm excited to see if you all get a BFP! I'd only be 9 DPO on Sunday, so don't want to risk testing too early!

Let's do Sunday together! I'm not taking any notice of any symptoms. I ss like mad last month and drove myself crazy!! So just being a little more relaxed about it all!!

Yeah I remember back when was preg with my first and literally had no symptoms at all until just a couple days before I got the bfp which was prob a week at least after af was due. Only a couple days before did I have any symptoms (thirsty and sore boobs) so I do wonder if all the symptom spotting is pointless earlier on and just your body tricking you into it!! Giving you false hope etc etc!

But that being said it is difficult not to think all the twinges are little signs!!

I've been very lucky and got pregnant the first month of trying both times (DD and MMC). I had quite early symptoms both time so I fully suspect I'll be driving myself crazy from... ooh at least the weekend.

Oooo ok, the first time it wasn't planned, so some symptoms could have passed me by as I wasn't waiting and looking out for them, and it was a long time ago!! Let's see how we go this time around, many years on!!!

I know I'm not supposed to be symptom spotting but my hubby has just commented on how big my nipples are looking!! Haha

@hugeagegap I am so much less romantic about this baby 😆😆😆 I just ignore it all now as I feel like i’m 37, 20 months pp and EVERYTHING twinges these days 😆🤦‍♀️

Ok! Sunday it is! My FRERs don’t arrive until Friday so this is all good.

@skygirl1983 my husband lay on my tummy yesterday moonily wondering if there was ababa in there. Won’t lie I eye rolled him 😆

Hoping you all get your BFPs this month! I’m fairly certain I didn’t conceive this month so I’ve ordered some OPKs for net month. Does anyone use them? I have no idea what I’m doing! 😂

Looks like PCOS may be acting up... back to DTD I guess just in case... meh to PCOS!

Anyone had a similar results with a second surge showing up? Or am I just using the OPKs totally wrong 🙈

Hi everyone, ttc #1, should be able to test from 30/31st Oct. I had 3 mc last year so I'm quite nervous and feel like I'm driving people insane by talking about nothing else!

@HugeAgeGap thanks! Well the leaflet says take one at the same time each day but I’m sure I’ve read on here people doing 2 a day? And what day do you start taking them? I’ve read different things!

I’ve got the start of a stinking cold - I don’t think I’m pregnant but Ovia says to avoid pain killers... gah who knew TTC was so technical!

@LazyDogFox I have also been very cold/flu like since ovulation but I have always suffered congestially so it is probably nothing new. Overthinking every twinge as usual!

@LazyDogFox I found doing the tests in the afternoon (as it takes a few hours for LH to show in urine so morn isn't good) at the same time everyday after stopping having any fluid or going toilet for a couple hours beforehand. As for timing, just take your cycle and start a few days before you think you ovulate and you can stop on the day you get the positive as no point wasting sticks and doing again once u get a positive. For ppl struggling to find the surge it may be so short that they need to check twice a day to ensure they have it, I've never had that problem, I used cheap ones from amazon, bought in bulk. I also chart temp and it's nice seeing the two tests aligning together.

@sojo44 sorry I can't help with the pic. I've never had that, looking on my screen it looks like one day where the test is darker than the control line though, CD31 is it from memory?! The one the tracking picked up as highest. As for the other days showing high I really don't know why, sorry my lovely. I wonder if u did the temp charts it might pin that down a bit more, or just lead to further confusion!!! :-)

@KCT hope you feel better soon! I also generally suffer with ENT issues. I get sinusitis about four times a year and a chest infection at least twice! That’s one thing I worry about if I get pregnant as I know you aren’t allowed certain medicines.

@HugeAgeGap ahhh thank you so much for that. Ovia gives me a rough idea of when I’m fertile so I’ll maybe start a day or two before that and see how it goes next month. The thought of doing one at work... eek 😂 but I’ll do anything to have a baby!

I was lucky enough to have a "surprise pregnancy" the first time round, this 2 week wait is excruciating. I'm literally going mad, looking for every symptom, I need to calm down, my brain is convincing me I feel nauseous!
