August bus

Thought I'd start this one. This is my first bus and would love to chat with other's TTC in August.

Stats:
Age: 26
TTC number: 1!
Cycle: 1st officially TTC, although was a chance last cycle
CD: 6 of 27-29 day cycle
BFP/AF due: 2nd Augst

I'm trying to really prepare my body as much as possible for pregnancy. Trying to lose some weight and strengthen my core and back as I've got crap core and lower back muscles which worry me a bit in terms of pregnancy

We had a chemical in cycle 3 so hoping for another BFP this August. Got my hopes up last month but then AF decided to arrive a week early. Still, means we were able to start trying sooner.

AF due today and BFN this morning so expecting it any time today.

I have PCOS but seem to actually be ovulating regularly now. Hoping that continues! My DS1 was a clomid baby, DS2 I was on metformin for the PCOS and having acupuncture. Not doing anything this time around as ovulating on my own.

Hi all, mind if I join? I had my coil removed in November but my partner had been working away for every single ovulation untill this month!! I'm so excited. I'm cycle day 6 today and I already have a little boy who is 2. I've joined boards before in the beginning of ttc but I'm hoping anyone that was on the winter boards is pregnant now I think technically this is my 8th cycle and I'm 26. Good luck everyone xx

@storm so sorry 💐 I hope this cycle will be better for you!

My app is predicting ovulation today. I was on the Mirena coil but still ovulated and got ovulation pain so always knew when it was happening. Haven’t had any pain yet but fingers crossed it is today and I get to welcome DP home nicely!

AF has arrived today - early again! But at least I’m not waiting!

My friend had her baby this morning we started ttc at the same time. I can't get my mind off ttc at all this month x

Does anyone else find the pressure on days where you need to dtd makes it hard to get in the mood? I had a nearly positive opk yesterday and so naturally last night it was on the agenda but really struggled to get “ready” if that makes sense!

I'm ok so far but I feel like I'm on cycle one again since I havnt had oh here for ovulation in so long I'm just excited we have a chance I can see how it would loose its romance pretty quickly though. We started trying the second my period stopped and I'm only on cycle day 8 so I am a bit worried I'm gunna get a bit sore x

@impatientmammy officially cycle 1 but had my coil removed day before I ovulated so technically cycle 2. Been waiting to TTC since September due to work issues so very excited to finally be trying! What about you?

I'm officially 1 DPO! Going to try and be as relaxed about it as possible, I really don't want to test too early as I want I know getting a negative pregnancy test will really get me down. Period/BFP due 2/3rd August so not going to test until 3rd/4th or of course if my period has already come.
When is everyone planning on testing?

@Rapunzel91 I'm 2 DPO so we've got a similar 2WW. This is my first cycle so all very new to me. I've got a feeling I'm going to want to test early as I haven't had the experience of getting early BFNs yet...

What's the earliest you can test, I'm reading 4-5 days before period due?

I prefer to know once I get a bfn I can relax until next time at least but if I test too early I'd just be telling myself it might be positive later so there's no winning really 🙈 I'm using the clear blue ovulation tests this time so it's gunna be really nice to know I won't miss it. Hope your 2ww flys by girls xx

im exactly the same, when I test to early and get a BFN I convince myself I could still be PG but it tested to early...

Right this sounds really stupid but do any of you raise hips etc after sex? I haven't been but not sure weather it's worth trying or not. Google was inconclusive ha x

Probably won't test until AF is late. AF came rather than getting BFN this cycle and I much preferred it as now I can look forward to this cycle and enjoy a G&T tonight!

Can I tentatively join? I've been off the pill since December and seeing what happens (nothing!), did track my cycle for a couple of months but found that too stressful so stopped. Feel a bit in limbo.

I have short cycles so am already in my fertile week. Dh thinks it will just happen. We're just dtd when we want to but it is at the back of my mind. Trying to take my mind off it as much as I can - so I hopped on a bus!

Ha @VenusStarr loved that to keep you mind off ttc you joined a ttc forum. I would just pretend I'm in the mood a lot at certain times of the month.
In fairness anyone that's managing to not go crazy with it is doing well in my eyes I started temping and OPKing a month before my coil was removed to get an idea where I was at 😂 x

Tracking cycle with Flo app and using boots ovulation test strips.
