Anne really sorry your having a rough day. Dates could be wrong lets hope so. Sounds like you deserve a holiday with the cocktails and fags. And some nice warm sun. Sun changes everything. I felt really lazy today so tired so we went for a nice walk although still tired less lazy.

Anne I'm so sorry you're feeling rough - you put exactly how I feel about it all into words, it's just completely rubbish. Every day someone else in my life gets pregnant and I just can't help but think "why not ME?!"

We're determined to keep trying for now but I know there will come a point when I pull the plug and we start to look at other options. Although we've just had an offer accepted on a family house which we definitely wouldn't have bought if we knew children weren't in our future, so fingers crossed! Cycle 6 post MMC now...

fluff, how are you feeling today? Have you managed to broach the subject with your DP? Congratulations!

Anne sorry it's all confusing and difficult

We're having a 'talk' this weekend because I can't make up my mind whether to try again or not, sometimes I'm desperate for a second, other times I think a third mc would break me and I know we're lucky to have DD and I also know it's getting easier with her. I need to know what we are doing as we're too old to leave it a while. If we decide to try it has to be now :(.
I hate not having a clear plan

Ah Anne, I feel awful for you about this whole shitty day! It's good to have a plan though; I think what you've decided to go with sounds like a better quality of life than counting down every hour until fw, then until af starts, then until af ends, etc. Hope you feel better in the morning--in the meantime, eat all the cakes! Sorry about AF Anne. Your body has been through a lot these past few months, hopefully it just needed a bit of a reset.

Anne, sorry that AF arrived but hopefully your body is regulating itself now. You've had such a sh!t time and it's totally ok to have days like that.

I think my bleeding my finally have stopped, woohoo! GP checked my tummy and stuff just to reassure me no infection. She said if this is just a one off it may just be my body regulating itself, but if it keeps happening over the next few months to go back again. Really hope it doesn't. I'm not going to see DH for a week at the end of next week and i just know that if I do ovulate it'll be in that week. Maybe I could get him to spunk in a cup and have a stash in the freezer. I know that I am officially a crazy person for even thinking that Grin.

Sorry to hear that Anne. Hope the Wine & Cake was good at least!

My AF is due today. Feels like it might be coming but I've been having cramps for days which could be IBS type thing because of the stress. I'm still feeling nauseated & not quite right so I'll just ignore the fact that today's cramps seem to be a bit lower than previous ones...!

swimchick I'm away Sun-Wed next week and DH is away Wed-Thurs which is across my fertile week and DH suggested giving me some pots of ahem to take away with me. So you're not the only crazy one!

Hi all,
Anne March is a fresh month so look at it that way :) my AF still hasn't shown up so really not sure what's going on. Had a week of crap and another friend announced her pregnancy to me yesterday. I looked at the scan and just filled up. Again happy for her but just took me back 5 weeks to when I was at the scan. Arghh!!!
Going for a load of blood tests on Monday and back for a scan to see what's happening down there. So wish my positive I had last weekend was the case, it's crazy how you can feel on top of the world to shit just by peeing on a sodding stick. Sorry for the negative rant. Other news I've gone back to slimming world. I've gained a stone since November...that's comfort eating for you!

Anyway ladies I hope all is well with you all. Positive thoughts to everyone...including myself! X

Eeeek! No sign of AF today although I wouldn't put it past my body to be playing a cruel joke on me. Sore chest area, but not sure if that is down to the fact I have a stinking cold.

My emotions are all over the place, I'm going to leave a few days to test though, I can't deal with a BFN right now.

Is this the first after mc? Fx.

Sorry I'm way behind on this thread. anne really sorry about AF.

I'm 5dpo today in my first cycle post mc (tried again straight away) and have had cramping since I ovulated (never had this before) but no other symptoms. Is anyone else testing next week?

Report
WLMcI · 10/03/2017 20:10

Yes harriet I'm going to test on Tuesday as long as AF is a no-show! I was going to wait for Wed but I won't have a chance to buy the test that day, and I know that once it's bought it'll be used immediately! We haven't been trying in this cycle (mc happened exactly 4 weeks ago) but there's a possibility as I felt as though I was ovulating around the times we DTD (in the baby-making way) ;)

Hi,
I posted this on the MC board, but no replies yet (yes, I am inpatient, but also driving myself mad about this) I'm new to mumsnet (well, have been reading since got the BFP in november, but never posted)
I'm sorry this is long!
I had a MMC, confirmed 12 weeks ago, at around 8 weeks (but baby never got beyond about 3mm foetal pole). I had ERPC under GA 11weeks ago.
My problem is I have no idea what my cycle is doing. I had 1st period after 4 weeks, then my 2nd after 30 days, and on wednesday I started my 3rd (3 weeks later!) I thought I had some ovulation signs(EWCM) this month, but not as obvious as they were before pregnancy, & around CD12. This period came completely out of the blue, with no PMS signs, but was heavy bleeding on wednesday, but nothing since.
Before all this my cycles were 25 days, my period lasted 4-5 days. Since ERPC they have lasted about 3-5 days, and were much lighter, although started HEAVY. I was weepy 2 days before the last one, but like I said, no signs this month.
I REALLY want to get preg again, I am turning 39 later in the year, the MC was my 1st pregnancy.
Has anyone had similar weirdness after a MC. Can it take a while for my ovaries to restart, or can my luteal period change completely? I'm really worried that they have decided to shut down and do things stupidly.
Is there any point in my going to my doctor yet?

CD28 here, no AF yet. I'm getting awful cramps but I don't know if it's potential-baby related or if it's the stress triggering IBS. Either way, it feels weirdly like contractions... 4 weeks is a little early for Braxton-hicks...!

I'm waiting until Monday to test at the earliest. I know I've conceived, I've had a week of very distinctive symptoms. This is my 5th pregnancy so I know how my body reacts! What I don't know yet is if it'll stick around. I used to test before AF was due but having seen 2 BFPs that became BFNs just a few days later, I'm going to hold out a bit! I may not get the courage to test until next weekend if AF hasn't arrived. Once I reach the 5w mark I may relax a little...

Hi Ladies,

Hope it's ok to join this thread. I'm a month past my third pregnant loss in the last year. First was PUl, second missed miscarriage and third miscarriage or chemical pregnancy as i didn't make it to 5 weeks. Had some blood tests done at the RMC on Monday, although these will take 12 weeks before I get the results. Think we will TTC in the meantime as it's always taken us a few months.

So sorry to hear so many of you have been through such difficult times. I hope this year brings us all some better luck. Xx

Sorry for your loss and sorry to see you here. Unfortunately anything seems to be 'normal' in the cycles after mc. I have had two miscarriages, first time I feel like it took six months to get back to being fertile (cm & ov pains aligned etc) and that's when I fell for the second time. I am 3 cycles post second mc at the moment and just starting to feel normal now. I think some people recover very quickly and others not. Be patient with yourself. I ended up getting acupuncture which seems to have helped my body reset, but again this will be different for everyone. All the best with it and welcome to this board. We are all on very similar journeys.
