I've just reached cycle 10 and I'm despairing. I've tried to stay focused and positive all this time but it's all gotten a bit much. Each month I've tried something new but nothing seems to be working. (This month is acupuncture month, last month was fertilitea month)!

I guess I just needed to vent BlushI don't want to sound like a total debbie downer but today's been tough!

faith - hang on... You've got a squinter? This is awesome news, when are you retesting Grin.

My temp is still elevated, as soon as it drops I'll know...maybe Wed or Thu. I'm surprisingly chilled out about it all.

keepingfaithxx · 24/10/2016 20:43

I did!!! Super squinty though so not getting excited and re t sting tomorrow morning :)
Well hopefully AF stays away for you! :)

Colabottles64 · 24/10/2016 21:20

Faith!!!! This is amazing news!! Fingers crossed for you tomorrow xxx

Skipper - I don't understand temping at all so I dunno whether to say hope your temp goes up or down but let's hope the witch doesn't show up 😊

Mimi ha on being nice to hubby, snap! 😊 I'm always super nice for fertile week, he's very amused by!!

Margo, sounds like a lovely weekend - busy week ahead now ☺️

Weekend was lovely, we went to see Jack Reacher and it was lots of fun, we constantly had each other laughing at the bat-shit-crazy plot line. love a good cheesey action movie! We took the little one to a local trampoline place sat morning and that was super fun. Hubby has a stomach bug and flu since yesterday though and im feeling dodgy as anything tonight. Really think I'm gonna vom 😖

Margo5 · 24/10/2016 22:52

Faith keeping fingers and toes crossed for your squinter... eek! Let us know how POAS goes tomorrow. What DPO are you? Another donkey fan! I am thinking of adopting one too, they are adorable!
Mimi seems it's be nice to DH week for us both Wink
Cola hope you didn't vom and feel better now? Sounds like you had a good weekend apart from the dreaded flu! Flowers
I didn't do an ovulation test in the end, actually forgot to which is quite refreshing! Tummy feels a bit twingy today though... but cd12 is very early for me...

sk1pper · 24/10/2016 23:01

Faith - congratulations! Fx for tomorrow.

Cola - basically temp will stay elevated if you are pg. sorry you and DH aren't feeling well Flowers

Mimilicious013 · 25/10/2016 07:47

Morning all. Hope you had a good night's sleep. I did. Got my way with dh so another 2-3more times more Wink

Oh my word keeping am so excited for you. How is today's test? Please post pic please. Everything crossed the bfp is clearer today.

Skipper hope your temp stays up fx.

cola how are you feeling today? Hope it's nothing serious.

margo hope you managed to dtd last night. Good luck catching the egg.

Colabottles64 · 25/10/2016 09:45

I was up for two hours throwing up but feeling bit better for it, just weak as anything today and afraid to eat. Brain on total go slow so a day in bed for me. So glad it's a weekday and I have childcare today, would have been so hard to keep up with the toddler!!

Well done Mimi 😂 Keep up the good work ha!

sk1pper · 25/10/2016 21:08

Threads been quiet today!

Cola - how you doing lovely?

Faith - did you retest?

I'm just sat here waiting for AF to show up. Could be tomorrow or Thursday. I really hope that I don't get chronic period pains like last cycle, I couldn't sleep all night - it was honestly horrific. I've been drinking dandelion tea and taking bee propolis, natural remedies that should ease it.

Colabottles64 · 25/10/2016 23:07

Skipper, thank goodness whatever I had seems to have been a 24 hour thing so feeling much better and so grateful! How are you feeling, temps still staying high?

I'm on CD7 now so really looking forward to getting to the fertile window. Im having mad intense pangs of longing to be pregnant and having a little baby again, I think intensified by how much my "baby" has grown. She's speaking to me in sentences now, like she asked me this evening "what ya doing mummy?" FRICKING ADORABLE! Can't wait to have more, feel so impatient and hate all this waiting but trying to be grateful for what I have and stay optimistic!

Faith hope all is well and that squinted becomes a lovely dark line x

sk1pper · 26/10/2016 06:53

Temp still elevated so period is late according to one of my apps, only getting excited if it doesn't appear tomorrow as my other app is normally more accurate. Really gassy, is that a sign of pg? Lol

Margo5 · 26/10/2016 07:55

Morning peeps!
Yesterday was 13dpo and (sorry for tmi) had a huge splodge of egg white CM! So although this is the first we've DTD this cycle I grabbed DH last night and this morning... Blush temp not shot up yet, usually around day 18...
Mimi hope you've been busy too? Good luck!
Cola glad you are feeling better. Your DD sounds super cute, keep up with the optimism!
Sk1pper Which apps do you use and how are they different? I just use FF at the mo. Fx your temp stays up, sounding hopeful! So funny that everything turns into a symptom at this stage but gassiness is a possibility... thinking positive thoughts on your behalf!
Faith Any news? No matter what we are all here to support you! I hope the squinter turned into a glinter (that's not a bad rhyme!!)
We're half way through the week ladies... Bake Off Final tonight! CakeBrew

sk1pper · 26/10/2016 08:29

Margo - ahh I wish I was in fertile week, end of the 2ww is the worst. Sounds like your getting lots of DTD in there, you go girl ;) I'm using FF, Ovia and Clue. Clue has all my historical data in it, but am comparing FF and Ovia at the moment. Clue says tomorrow for period so inclined to believe it atm.

Marriageoftrueminds · 26/10/2016 12:01

Hello, please can I join? Been watching mumsnet for a while for support but never posted.

'Trying' for 12 months but that's when I came off depo and my periods are still not right, they're every 2 weeks currently so probably not even ovulating 😭

Thinking of going to doctor soon but they do always say it can take a year for fertility to return after depo.

Good luck everyone!

sk1pper · 26/10/2016 12:17

Hi marriage - welcome!

At the risk of sounding very stupid, what is depo?

Marriageoftrueminds · 26/10/2016 12:51

Hi Skipper! Thanks for the welcome. I'm going to learn how to make words bold soon I promise!! Assuming Clue is an app - good luck hope it helps!

Depo is Depo Provera, the contraceptive injection - it's the same sort of idea as the implant but it's just a fluid injection and it lasts 3 months, its progesterone only (I couldn't take regular pill as I have migraines). I loved it when I was on it - no periods, no worrying about remembering to take the mini pill in a three hour window - but now I wish I had come off it sooner as it really does seem to be taking my body a long time to recover.

So sorry to hear of people's miscarriages, that must be so hard.

Faith - wow!! Good luck! Keep us updated!

keepingfaithxx · 26/10/2016 16:20

Hi guys sorry I didn't post yesterday I started bleeding yesterday morning and my squinter has gone I was so upset, I feel so silly for letting myself believe :'( thank you so much for all of your lovely messages and support ... here's to cycle 11!!!!!!!!
Skipper I hope AF has stayed away for you!! Wishing lots and lots of luck :) I was gassy when pg so could deffo be a sign!!!
Cola I hope your feeling better now!! I wish you a very fun fertile week ;) your little one sounds lovely!!

Margo good news with CM!!! Jump on him as much as you can! Wishing you lots of squishy eggs and strong sperm :) thank you for your lovely words... and rhyme ;) .... bake off final woooooo! Will be cheering me up!!! Keep us updated on OPKS :)
Hello marriage and welcome sorry to hear of your troubles! And thank you for the luck ..... lots of dust to all you lovely ladies xxxxx

keepingfaithxx · 26/10/2016 16:25

Here is the squinter I hope you guys can see it too and I'm not just crazy hehe... really weird period though super light (compared to normal) and no cramping... normally I have excruciating pains on the first day really don't know my body anymore!!!

10+ months TTC
mauwmauw · 26/10/2016 16:45

keepingfaith sorry to hear about your bleeding. I do see a line too. I've been absent a while from this thread. Fx that everyone gets a BFP soon!

Marriageoftrueminds · 26/10/2016 18:26

I can see the line too, is there any possibility this bleeding is something else? I think I remember reading some people bleed lightly during early pregnancy. I don't want to get hour hopes up of course but you obviously had the pregnancy hormones in your body when you took that test.

sk1pper · 26/10/2016 20:26

Marriage - to bold, you just need to put these little stars (*) around the word. And yes, Clue's an app - but not a very insightful one so probably best to just start with something like FF. I wasn't even aware of a contraceptive injection, I think its worth going to the Doctor anyway as its been a year. And 2 weeks isn't even close to a normal cycle so they may be able to advise you. There are a lot of natural treatments to get your cycle back on track, I seem to remember someone else struggling on another thread and they literally fixed it with an improved diet and supplements. There should be some info online for you to follow, or I can dig around for you if you like? I have a few sites I use.

faith - Defo a line, do you feel like AF is here? I always believe in trusting your body, if its feels completely different maybe wait a few days, see what happens and if nothing more retest.

keepingfaithxx · 26/10/2016 21:43

Hoooollllyyyyyyy frikken crap I'm so glad you guys can see it I thought I was imagining it and tbh it doesn't feel like AF no cramps like normal and I light lighter and my boobs still hurt... maybe I'll re test tomorrow morning with FMU again... thank you ladies
Skipper I hope AF has still stayed away for you xx

sk1pper · 26/10/2016 22:04

Yeah it's not here yet but definitely will arrive over night, unless pg for me feels exactly like premenstrual horribleness.

Colabottles64 · 26/10/2016 22:12

Faith, sorry to hear about bleeding - definitely can see the line on that test quite clearly! have you tested since the bleed? if so and no line then I'm so so sorry. It's little comfort but theres always wine, chocolate, hugs & Poldark (although WTF was that rapey storyline about in last episode?? don't ruin my fave TV totty!) Really hope it sticks and the bleed is nothing xxx

Marriage welcome on board! must be frustrating waiting for periods to come back to normal, definitely worth a check with the doctors xx

Margo high five lady :) And i watched bake off and thought it was a brill final. very cool and challenging showstopper!

Skipper keep hanging in there, fingers crossed for you.

MauwMauw hello and nice to meet ya

Tomorrow I'm into CD9 so I think time for hubby and I to dust off the cobwebs since we got struck down with this flipping vom bug on sunday. Been living like a nun I have!! I'll start my OPKs Friday.

I put the little lady in her cat halloween costume today to try it on - too sweet. I'm really excited about taking her to a halloween party (i am a bigger child!) at the weekend, but she is so scared of all the halloween stuff its not stacking up like its going to go well! Hmm Confused Grin
Every time she sees a pumpkin or ghost or even big friendly looking monster, she hides behind my leg and says "bit scary mummy" Smile

Someone mentioned pineapple good for fertility so I ate some of that today - really trying hard on the diet and being healthy. The difference from how I feel with less sugar & carbs is really fab. Its unreal - how i actually feel, my moods and my general mindset is much better. Its kind of shocking - can it really be as simple as breads, pastries. chocolate bars & so on - the foods one tends to turn to for comfort - were weighing down my moods as much as my flabby waistline?? It just seems too easy, but also perfectly sensible. Crazy!

Margo5 · 27/10/2016 08:00

Just catching up... hope those if you who watched the Bake Off enjoyed it. Was a great final, loved Candice's piggys and think she was a worthy winner she always went all out! Wonder if she'll launch a range of lipsticks!!
Well I am getting busy with DH we DTD again last night and this morning! Hope you are enjoying fertile week too Mimi? Time for you to get going too Cola high five back at ya! Wink

Welcome Marriage I too didn't know what depo was, I think if your cycles are 2 weeks long you should go to the doctors and see what they suggest. How long were you on it for?

Sk1pper I might check out Clue and Ovia, Clue just reminds me of an 80s film my husband likes - ha ha! Sorry AF seems to be on the way but you're not quite out yet...

Faith I could see a line too!! Like the others say people can bleed a little in early pregnancy so don't write yourself off yet if it seems different... how do you feel today? We're all rooting for you! FX

Mauw welcome back we've missed you!

Cola the cat outfit for your DD sounds gorgeous! I have a couple of outfits for my cat and have always loved a bit of fancy dress, will definitely be dressing my child up!
Well done with less sugar and carbs, I gave up sugar a few years ago for about 6 months and it made a big difference to how I felt, the weight dropped off too! Love chocolate too much though! Enjoy brushing off those cobwebs with DH Wink
Not quite up to date with Poldark so please don't reveal any more - not impressed by the sound of a rape story line esp if it involves the man himself... surely not!!! Shock

xx

keepingfaithxx · 27/10/2016 11:31

Morning ladies!!! BFN this morning so I'm definitely out! The faint line has given me hope for this month though :) shall just try again I guess :)
Bake off was brill!! Had a feeling she would win!!
Skipper any sign of AF??
Cola well done on the diet!! Amazing how it's made you feel like that I may have to try it! Have fun dusting off the cobwebs ;) hehe and thank you I have just brought some wine and treats to lift me up!!!
Margo great that your getting in lots of DTD hope this is your time!! Hahah I bet she'll launch her own lippy range! Best of luck :)
Thanks again for the support ladies now onto CD3 I guess and OPKS in a week :)
