Ttc number 2!

Hello! Anyone thinking of ttc number 2? I have a 6 month old baby and don't want a big age gap between babies. AF has been a bit erratic over the past few months but DH and I have decided to make next month the first month of ttc. Anyone else sort of in the same boat?

My next nhs scan is 30th dec when I will be 21 weeks (I'm guessing they're not open much over Xmas) but my private gender one is Sunday!

Yes! Finding out next Friday if it's a boy or a girl. My money is on another boy

Does anyone else have any feeling on sex of their baby?

Any TTCers out there? Cycle? CD? Ovulation day?

It's so exciting that some of you will be finding out the sex soon!

I'm 11+1 now & was actually just trying to work out when I can book a scan to find out the sex. Looks like the earliest I could get it is the first week in Jan.

If you go to the same place in Glasgow they will see you as early as 16 plus 4. I'm going on Sunday for the gender and I'll be 17 plus 3! When is your 12 weeks scan? You did tell us but I've forgotten! Can't be too long away now!

Thanks sonnet I was looking at that place as it still has an offer on! I won't be booking anything until the dating scan is done though

My dating scan is still 2 weeks away! I'll be 13+1 when I get it which is quite frustrating as it feels really late but never mind. At least I've had the early scan so it's not too bad.

Know exactly how you feel hazy, my dating scan was at 13w 6d. If they'd left it any later it would have been outside of the dates they need to do it!!

I was 12 plus 6 at mine, it's a pain to wait. I'll be 21 weeks at my 20 week scan which is also a pain!! At least you've had the reassurance early scan. Hope everyone is keeping well!

I'm ok thanks, cycle 8 and first on clomid. I'm currently in the TWW but I'm not feeling remotely optimistic to be honest.

How long until until your 20 week scan tuna?

Yeah it's from a consultant at the assisted conception unit at the hospital. The idea is that it helps to produce more mature eggs which in turn should release more progesterone. That's the theory anyway. I had scans all last week and Monday to confirm I released a follicle and then I've got blood tests on Friday and Monday to check my progesterone levels. Loads of fun!!

I'm 12w tomorrow! Feeling ok actually. Some days I'm very nauseous but then I'll have a day when I feel relatively normal so can't complain. Still over a week until my scan next Thursday which is a bit frustrating but as long as everything's ok, the wait is worth it
