Evening all

What a day. I've only just finished work...

I only really noticed EWCM after my miscarriage. I think after ovulation it's supposed to go dry, then if you have conceived it goes creamy and white I think or watery. But I think it's different for every woman.

Amy I can totally relate. Don't disappear though! Hope you are ok.

It would be no 1 for me too and it's frightening the thought of... I'm not going to say it. It will happen, one way or another as Blondie would say.

I'm on CD17, can test next weekend but focusing on living my life and getting through work rather than testing. (Remind me of that next week!!).

Hope you are all having lovely evenings xx

I rarely notice lots of ewcm but i do try to do an internal check (sorry tmi) around my fertile days. It's quite watery at the moment but not stretchy at all so i'm hoping i'm approaching ov at some point.

Focusing back on my other little obsession of decorating my house to try and stop me googling all things conception! Operation Strip and Sand The Hallway is planned for the weekend. I shall regret it ten minutes in!

TMI but I notice EWCM less when we are DTD regularly that if I wait till around ov time.

Thanks for the support everyone, I'm still here rooting for you all.
I've been to see my therapist who's said my anxiety is really high and has given me some relaxation techniques which I'll put to good use. I've also been advised to try listening to some YouTube things on mindfulness to put things in to perspective, shut away fears and focus on now not the future and what might or might not be. So far I feel like a weight has been lifted, I feel lighter than I have done since my mc. I cried and let it all out without having to worry about upsetting my DH and kids. My eyes are really sore now though and for the first time in a while I actually feel like I am going to have a good nights sleep.

I've booked in to have a massage with hot stones on Friday and a pedicure which I've not had done for years! Also booked my dd's to have a mini kids manicure so we can spend some girly time together then I'm surprising them and taking them to buy healys that they've wanted for ages.

I'll check in with you all and keep watching out for bfp's.

Good luck everyone, I have a good feeling about May xxx

Amy good on you!! That's exactly what you need :) take the time to enjoy and pamper. I really should do the same. Yesterday I put a facemask on, had a shower, shaved and then moisturised. I'm not good at moisturising but felt so soft after. It was like a little treat lol. Just lying in bed and really need to get up for work.....

Glad you are feeling a bit better amy. I have been really struggling the last few days and have had nothing positive to say about anything. I went climbing last night and feel a bit better today.

Hugs Mrs. IT only takes the once at the right time.

Hi everyone waves I hope it's ok to jump on the bus. Need some advice/talking down.

I lost baby #1 at 4.5 weeks in December and baby #2 at 6.5 weeks on 2 March. (Still can't believe that is my story but hey ho. I am all the stronger/crazier for it.)

So I'm now awaiting second AF since mc. First one I was very irritable and hormonal but no physical symptoms at all. This one is a different story. From 1dpo I have been having insane symptoms, all of which I put down to excess progesterone as my hormones were so all over the place. Now however at 9dpo (7 days to AF) they seem to be turning into pg symptoms. Sore boobs, bloating, mild cramps, tiredness, grumpiness and creamy cm being the main ones.

So I wondered if anyone had had these symptoms and not been pg. I am so desperate that I am veering from being utterly convinced I am, to not trusting my body at all and being cynically convinced it's just excess hormones. Waiting 3 more days to test. Unless I get committed by then. Grin

Welcome on board alltalk. I'm so sorry for your losses. I hope your symptoms are a good sign! Since my mc in Jan I no longer trust my body when it comes to symptoms because every single month I've had sore breasts, nausea, cramps, mood swings, & even coffee aversion which were all pg symptoms for me and with the exception of mood swings and cramps, were never af symptoms but every month since it's been BFN so looks like these symptoms are the new normal for me. BUT everybody is different and so I hold out hope for you!
You're doing well by holding out for 3 more days, I've been peeing on sticks from 9/10dpo and now, thankfully, have run out so this month I'll be forced to wait it out!
Good luck!

To those who temp, can I ask what your typical BBT range is. I'm worried mine might be on the low side and if this is connected to my thyroid problems. Mine is typically around 35.5

Thanks Caffeinated. So sorry for your loss too Sad I didn't get a BFP until 12dpo last time and given my current state of mind I think a squinter might push me over the edge Grin so I really must wait. I must I must I must...

So it could be just insane hormones then. It's not enough that we have to go through miscarriages, we have to be teased as well! Ha. If I didn't laugh I'd cry.

Still have some hope. Had some pin prick feelings on 7dpo that could have been implantation. Never felt that with #1 or #2 though so... Aaarrrggghhhh.

How many dpo are you? How much longer to wait?

Hi alltalk sorry for your losses... I had all of those symptoms when I was pg, however after my MC I started noticing the same symptoms when af was due. It could be either or I think!

insufficiently I temp and my average is 36.5 however I do drop below 36 sometimes. Still haven't done it for long enough to know my patterns.

I'm on cd13, dtd cd10,11,12 and aiming for everyday this week!! I got a flashing smiley this morning on my OPK so hope that is accurately!

Sunshine is definitely making me feel more optimistic!!

Hi and welcome AllTalk.

IC mine tends to sit between 35.7 and 36.0 the first half of the month and then goes up to 36.2 to 36.5 after ovulation until my period.

Can anyone help... Cd13, af stopped just 5 days ago and just been to bathroom and had a small amount of blood (sorry tmi), when I wiped it was just a teeny tiny bit and brown. I have never bled mid cycle before and I've only just started dtd for my fertile week! I'm scared I've had a ridiculously short cycle!!

Report
Brenna24 · 04/05/2016 15:59

Either that or we all have the same problem. We may not be the best pool to judge normal from. I am CD9 too. Good to have a cycle buddy.

You can spot a bit at ovulation too JPEG, it may just be that. Fingers crossed for you.

Ok thanks Brenna... I just read that you shouldn't do OPKs in FMU... Which means my flashing smiley this morning could be a lie! So no idea what the bleeding is if I'm not ovulating yet. There is no way af could be back 5 days after it ended!! I'll take another OPK tomorrow afternoon to see what's going on.

Hello everyone. Just got my first -ve hpt after mc so feel officially back at base camp! My opks are still dark but not quite positive. The month i concieved they were very faint right up until ovulation so that's not quite back to normal for me yet. Clear cm at the mo. Just going to daily opk now until AF or ov.

Still dtd every other day. This is A LOT for us!

Thanks jpeg. I'm sure your spotting is nothing. I've had midcycle spotting from time to time for years. Could be caused by all the dtd too!

I don't know what is going on with me. My hormones are up and down I think. Last week I was really tired, then down, then irritable. This week I'm horny Blush feeling very lovey/emotional and affectionate too and I can definitely report I'm enjoying sex again but I'm getting lots of odd cramping and it almost feels like my womb is loose?? Like it's really sensitive to movement and doesn't feel happy if I'm moving around a lot. Which isn't hugely conducive to sex, either. It's not like we are actively trying yet but not doing anything to prevent either so I don't know if I should be concerned? If I had an infection or something, I'm guessing that there would be some nasty discharge, which I haven't had - just normal.

Sorry for TMI and cluelessness.

Bertie to me that just sounds like hormonal ups and downs, but then I've got used to lots of weird and wonderful symptoms on the post-MC rollercoaster ride.

For the people wondering about temping, I get most variation in the proliferate phase when 36.1-36.4 would be typical, but I've dipped as low as 35.75 and gone as high as 36.7 as one off fluke temperatures then. I get a pre-OV dip and a post OV spike fairly reliably every month. After the post-OV spike my temp would usually be between 36.75 - 37, but has gone down to 36.6 or up to 37.2 as a fluke. There's tons of variables that can effect temps and throw them off, I try to watch the big picture of the month as a whole and not get caught up in the detail.

CM-wise I get EWCM fairly consistently throughout my fertile week, my record is for 7 days in a row. I started an evening primrose supplement last month which coincided with the 7 days, it is meant to be good for increasing fertile CM if anyone wants to try it.

I'm feeling good at the minute, probably because I have a holiday coming up where not being pregnant would be an advantage, which has taken the pressure off TTC. Also, I worked out I get pregnant about once every four cycles (conceived in late October and then in early March), which would mean I probably won't get pregnant again before the trip, but might during it which would be ideal. Obviously I know we can't choose when we concieve, but I can enjoy the hope.
