For reference here's thread 3 www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/2593041-TTC-after-miscarriage-lucky-thread-number-3

Is the sensitive womb thing hormone related as well? I've never experienced it before.

Hello everyone I posted many weeks ago following s miscarriage and how my DH wanted to TTC again straight away but that I wasn't ready.

Anyway, it's now been two months since I had my miscarriage and now I feel like I'm ready to try again. I'm due my period in a few days and then I plan to start TTC.

I still feel so nervous but I've been told that the chance of having two miscarriages in a row is pretty low.

Evening everyone.

alltalk that sounds promising and confusing in equal measure. Good luck for the testing!

And good luck to you too writerwannabe - that is great news.

I am feeling surprisingly calm at the moment. Apart from doing the occasional CM check (well, when I say occasional, I mean about 6 times a day. whoops!!) , I am being good at not symptom spotting and trying to stay calm.

I have a busy end to the week, then a gorgeous HOT weekend of sunbathing and then I am nearly on the home straight to AF or otherwise. The wait is very tough but I feel quite calm. I am going to let it come to me, rather than chase it with constant testing.

Hope everyone else is doing OK tonight.

xx

Hi ladies, can I join? I had a mmc in February and we are going to ttc this cycle. I have an almost 3yo ds. Really wanted to start ttc sooner but had to get my measles jab as my immunity had gone down to zero?! Anyway there time is almost here and I'm excited but very nervous and scared for what is to come. I think it is the unknown, fear of it happening again etc.

Sorry for all your losses and wishing you all best of luck.

Welcome pineapple, sorry for you loss and good luck TTC!!

I'm still spotting (brown sorry my) but took my OPK just now so 4 hours after FMU... Got a flashing smiley, hoping it's more accurate at that time. I'll make sure I dtd every day now for a week I think!! OH will be thrilled! Ha ha

The sun is so glorious today... Hope everyone has a good day Smile

At cd10 I have ewcm and a SHOW cervix. Some right hand pinching too, looks like I'm gearing up for an early ov, better get at it!

Spotted the July antenatal club in active convos today. I keep hiding them but then they start a new thread and if it happens to be active when I'm on then I see it. Only a fleeting pang of sadness but realising they're all going in to 3rd trimester was tough. Have a big event coming up later this month and at the time of agreeing to take part I was still pg and remember thinking that I'll be 7 months pg and fairly big while standing on stage but nope. At least I can drink at the after party (unless this month is a success which I'll know by then, it's at the same time af is due)

On a positive note it's a glorious day and I'm just back from a beautiful ride about, made it up a really big hill. Could have done with somebody giving me a high 5 at the top because it's long and relentless!

Good luck jpeg and insufficiently with your dtding!

Still very early alltalk but i am a fanatic tester too!! I was 12 dpo when i got the faintest bfp and had tested every day from about 8 i think with not even a hint of a line.

Welcome pineapple. Smile

Nothing to report here, but thermometer has arrived so will be starting temping tomorrow. Hope it makes some sense to me!

I'm on what I think is day 25 (if the flooding was my period) but as my bleeding never actually stopped I have no idea.

We had planned to wait until I'd fully recovered but got carried away and dtd on day 14 and 15 unprotected and now I'm not sure if I'm imagining pregnancy symptoms or not!

I get quite specific symptoms very early on - breathlessness and lots of watery discharge - and I've got that now. But I don't know whether to ignore it anyway because I'm still bleeding lightly and so I doubt it would be a sticky one anyway

What is a SHOW cervix IC?!

Good luck to everyone in their fertile window.

I'm getting bored now of staying zen and waiting! I've had such a manic day and week that I'd love nothing more tha a glass of wine in the warmth tonight... But I'll stay strong. Early night. 8 more days to wait....

Anyone else on my cycle day? 19?

I know this sounds stupid but I get so confused about how to feel what my cervix is like?! Today I think it might be lower than normal, but I got a flashing smiley on ovulation test so it should be high?? I'm worried that what I'm feeling isn't actually my cervix?? Sorry if I'm being dumb!

Evening ladies, everyone seems so positive today!

Nails sorry to hear things are taking so long to recover. I think I'm in the same crappy boat as you. No let up in the bleeding (8 wks post MC now although I know you're further along) I'm not bleeding as such but brown discharge is continuous.

I just got home and something made me do a OPK and it looked fairly positive. Not sure what to make of that. Early night just in case?

nailsathome · 05/05/2016 19:59

Yeah Foz, mine is mostly brown with the occasional pink bleed. It will be 10 weeks on Sunday since I started bleeding. Are you on iron tablets? It's shit isn't it?!

jpeg28 · 05/05/2016 21:26

Sorry foz and nails that you are still bleeding... I hope it stops soon. foz you definitely could be ovulating! I hope you had that early night Wink

Thanks jpeg - you too by the sound of things? Grin

Yeah nails - spartone and iron tablets when bleeding is bad. Although I don't feel too bad atm. I can usually tell when my iron levels dip. I think I've just become used to it now taking pads everywhere 'just in case' Hmm

Positive OPK took me by surprise today. I had ruled myself out as dr was suggesting referal to gynae for a possible D&C so I assumed cycle would be weird until that was done.

So, do you ladies rely on OPK alone or in combination with other things?

Thanks for the warm welcomes Smile.

Foz - I use a combination of opk and checking cm, looking for a change to the more fertile slippery stuff. I find that it has been a good indicator of impending ovulation. But you know how our bodies can be especially post mc. I didn't really get my opk surge last cycle but guessing I may have missed it overnight or didn't have one. I try to test twice a day. I'm cd12 so hoping we can start this weekend...

Hi ladies can I join you?

I had a mmc at 16 weeks (baby measured 15 weeks) in 2014

Had ds (aged 13mths) in April last year

Lost DD just before Christmas, went into labour at 18 + 5 weeks, she was born alive and lived for 3 minutes.

We have decided to start ttc this cycle, I started my period yesterday so will be actively trying from next week, am feeling very nervous.
