I probably shouldn't do this, but...lovely though the ladies on my current ttc threads are, there are times when I feel I need a break from the upbeat atmosphere.

My story- 38, going on 39, three children easily conceived in my 20s, ttc number 4 for 3 years before finally achieving a pregnancy that ended in foetal death at 12 weeks and miscarriage at 13 weeks (Oct 2006).

Frequent lapses of hope. I simply can no longer believe that it will all be OK, that this month will be the one.

Now contemplating stopping trying.

Howdy PinkElephant ..

The tests are in relation to losing Bertie and why that happened, but can be closely linked to the infertility. The consultant I am seeing on Tuesday will be dealing with trying to get me pregnant again, rather than what happen in my last pregnancy.

I've just ordered some pre-seeded off my husbands paypal account.. hehe

Never used it before... should be fun

Urgh! There is laughing mentioned, and smilies all over the Hut. Not to mention the spilled drink, spliff butts and comatose inmates (Is that Cocoa the guinea pig over there?)

Time to move methinks . :|

Sorry guys- it was getting harder and harder to feel sorry for oneself, with all those comments bordering on cheerful.

Also at 380 comments, it was getting a little clunky...
