Oh, meant to say, for my birthday I got the strictly come dancing workout dvd with Lilia I did ask for it ... haven't tried it yet

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 15/02/2007 14:09

Thanks, Cedar.

I did actually do quite a lot of exercise yesterday: took dd in her baby carrier and the dog for a long walk involving a big hill, went to town with dd, and then another walk with dd in her buggy and the dog. The weather is horrid today, so no long walks planned.

What's the Lilia dvd like, Ready? I've been toying with the idea of getting one, but don't know which to choose.

Ready · 16/02/2007 16:27

I have both of Davina's workout dvds. and I love them, especially the box-a-cise one. really gets the heart pumping.

not tried the Lilia one yet. lazy I know. as soon as you'll be the first to know if it good or not!!

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 17/02/2007 20:53

I'm feeling virtuous - I walked passed the gu shelf in Tesco!

Ready · 18/02/2007 12:45

You walked PAST!! Good for you!! I had chinese meal out last night, not good, so expecting to have put on a lb or two.

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 18/02/2007 12:57

oops - my mind is on chocolate so much I can't spell anymore ! I did cave in to a kitkat this morning, after a long walk with dd and the dog. Hope you enjoyed your meal last night.

Ready · 18/02/2007 14:02

Sorry, I am pmsl here I really wasn't picking you up on your spelling... giggle. I typed past as big as I was impressed by your willpower!! I just told DH that you will think I am a right snotty cow picking you up on your post. I'm sorry, I just typed it without thinking

Ready · 18/02/2007 14:03

Still chuckling away here. I feel so guilty though, I would never be so snotty to correct someone's spelling

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 18/02/2007 15:40

Actually, it is the kind of thing I would do - I have a thing about apostrophes in the wrong place... dd is going to hate me when she starts school!

Ready · 18/02/2007 15:51

Just had poached eggs on toast for our late lunch. It's the first time I have poached an egg in my life, how shocking is that!! They were not too bad.

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 18/02/2007 17:38

I love poached eggs but I can't cook them to save my life - mine come out either like soggy lacy things, or something that would bounce if you dropped it! So we had 'fried' eggs, ie cooked without oil in a non-stick pan.

cedar12 · 19/02/2007 12:21

Continuing the egg theme I just had scrambled eggs for lunch, they were lovely with a bit of salt and pepper. Nice and quick in the micrwave.
A bit fed up my weight is all over the place I havent lost anything but been very naughty. Was the same weight on saturday but I weighed today which I know i shouldnt do so soon and I have put on 2lbs. I am going to take the first weight Doing quite well with exercise 3.5 miles jog last night almost killed me though. I am going to get out my slimming world books and try and follow them for a while might even join again if that dosent work.
The sticky toffee pudding were lovely but a bit sickley.
Just found out dh has been having sneeky fags at work so trying to get him to give up again the only trouble is he has started to eating loads of biscuit instead trying not to join him.

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 19/02/2007 13:08

I'm 2lb heavier this morning , but I'm not really surprised as was VERY naughty last week. So I'm sat here with my stomach rumbling wondering what to have for lunch.

Ready · 19/02/2007 14:56

Well I stuck. Weighed a day early again, and wished I hadn't cos I may lose some overnight (yeah right!!)... So looks like none of us have been very good, unless Natty is going to tell me different?? ... still it's another week! We can do it!!

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 19/02/2007 18:00

must stop eating bread, must stop eating bread, must stop eating bread ....!

Ready · 19/02/2007 18:07

I know, that is my weakness too. I love bread or toast the most!!!

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 20/02/2007 21:03

Girls, I need some support - I'm giving up chocolate for Lent - shock, horror! The allowing myself a little bit approach isn't working.

cedar12 · 20/02/2007 21:18

Good luck Roskva, The little bit dosent work for me either. I am afraid this week is a write off food wise for me so far 3 kitkats last night pancakes tonight. I just like naughty food far to much I am afraid. Exercise wise still doing ok 3mile jog tonight. But dont think its enough with what I eat!

Ready · 21/02/2007 15:06

We had pancakes last night, but for tea, not dessert of tea. Only lemon juice and a sprinkle of sugar too, no maple syrup!!

Good for you Roskva, giving up chocolate for Lent!! Keep it up!!

I am the opposite, if I allow myself a little treat here and there I am usually ok, it's when I deprive myself I crack and polish off a ton of the stuff

3 kitkats Cedar that is indulging You seem to make up for it though with exercise. That is my problem, before ttc I was so motivated, then I started to worry that exercise might be hampering the egg sticking (really daft!) so I let it slide, and then once out of the habit it's hard to get back into it.

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 22/02/2007 00:16

I had maple syrup on my pancakes, in the true spirit of bingeing and then living like a puritan for a month!

cedar12 · 22/02/2007 09:36

i am writing of this week cream cake at work yesterday and then more kitkats!

Ready · 22/02/2007 10:58

Cedar, you will turn into a kitkat

Roskva, I love maple syrup,

I did not too bad yesterday, although I did have a wagon wheel just before bed (cardinal sin!) with a mug of ovaltine.

Roskvawantingsomesunshine · 22/02/2007 16:12

Oops, I was lead astray by my mate at lunch time - we both had pud , so I deserve a slap on the wrist.

Ready · 22/02/2007 16:32

For my lunch I had raw cauliflower and carrot sticks, an orange yoghurt and some corn crackers - and even though they tasted like little slabs of cardboard, they were the tastiest part

So far I am on 1.5 litres of water today, and still thirsty Clearly dehydrated.

For tea we are having bolognaise, which is a naughty treat, hence the rabbit food for lunch. But I will load my plate up with salad so I don't over do the bol.

cedar12 · 22/02/2007 17:30

Ready you are putting me to shame, spag bogs not to bad either. I must drink more to
