I've been really good today. Nothing naughty so far... planning shepherds pie for tea, so need to be good to have a nice big helping

how's everyone else?

Roskva70percentcocoa · 22/03/2007 14:38

I've changed my name for a while, not terribly diet-minded, I know, but it's a name, not food!

Ready · 22/03/2007 16:28

So long as you are fair trade

cedar12 · 22/03/2007 19:30

Had 2 awful days food wise feel really tired and run down. Makes me want to eat rubbish then the rubbish makes me feel worse still.
Been really unorganised still haven't decided whats for tea. dd had nice wholesome homemade tomato and lentil soup but nothing left for us!

cedar12 · 22/03/2007 19:31

Like the new name roskva.

Roskva70percentcocoa · 22/03/2007 22:30

Hi there

Ready, of course!

Thanks, Cedar, and don't get too down about it - tomorrow is another day.

Ready · 23/03/2007 11:37

cedar sorry you have been unwell, and you definitely need some hearty fare when you are run down! Plenty of vits and nutrients though, so no more crap Don't beat yourself up about it though!! We all have our off days!!

Roskva I went to my local supermarket, and they didn't have any polenta - I even asked and was told they don't sell it anymore. Where can I get it?

FC2007 Haven't heard from you since before your WW meeting, how did it go? How are you?

Roskva70percentcocoa · 23/03/2007 22:25

Ready, the closest thing to a 'posh' deli round here stocks it, and I think most health food shops carry it, too, in fact I'm sure Holland and Barrett do. I'm think I've seen it in Tesco, but that may vary from shop to shop.

Ready · 24/03/2007 15:23

Roskva - It was Tesco (for my sins) that I was in... I will try Holland&Barrett I think. I miss Waitrose

Roskva70percentcocoa · 24/03/2007 18:49

I miss Waitrose, too!

Ready · 25/03/2007 12:41

Our nearest waitrose is 40+ miles away - in Liverpool. Where I used to live there was a Waitrose 2 miles away, and I loved it!!!!

Roskva70percentcocoa · 25/03/2007 15:16

The nearest one to me is Swansea, and that is 80 miles! In fact it's 17 miles to Tesco or Morrisons from where I live. Oh well, at least that forces me to use the small local shops!

Ready · 25/03/2007 17:32

Cor blimey - that is a trek!! Do they deliver? You should take advantage of that if they do!

Roskva70percentcocoa · 25/03/2007 18:34

Tesco delivers, which can be useful. But dd really enjoys travelling round supermarkets on a trolley, so every 10 days or so, we have some fun!

Ready · 26/03/2007 11:17

Well, after going back up to my starting point I was really good last week, and lost 2lb! So the incentive of going home is really working. On top of that the weather is warmer, and it's not time to get the garden into shape! So weeding and mowing yesterday for 3 hours certainly helped burn off some fat!!

How's everyone else doing?

Ready · 26/03/2007 11:18

Roskva - That is so cute that your DD actually likes the supermarket - that has got to be a blessing

cedar12 · 26/03/2007 11:38

Back on track today with some good healthy meals I think my problem is if I dont plan what we are going to eat it goes to pot! Well done on the loss ready.
Roskva enjoy dd likeing shopping whilst it lasts, My dd now informs me I should do the shopping whilst she is at playschool as it is far to boring for her now

Roskva70percentcocoa · 26/03/2007 18:52

Oops, forgot to weigh myself - must remember tomorrow! I'm glad you're both doing well, Cedar and Ready.

cedar12 · 27/03/2007 08:13

Going for healthy food but trying to increase the exercise again. Did those hip bum lifts which you reccomended last night what a killer and went for a run.
Dh birthday today so made a cake last night will try and not eat to much of it, we also going out for a meal tonight.

Roskva70percentcocoa · 27/03/2007 09:38

I'm the same as last week - so much for lots of stress, and pushing the buggy up the hill most days - I must have been doing too much closet comfort eating!

must go to the swimming pool, must go to the swimming pool....

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 28/03/2007 16:57

Right... come on ladies... We need a boost!! MrsMcJnr just started a weight loss thread - what's say we ditch this Christmas thread and our past indiscretions behind us and start a fresh???

Proper Hardcore Goal - 10lbs in 7 weeks! You up for it?

ovenREADYhotcrossbuns · 29/03/2007 16:09
