Hello

Am starting a thread for people like me who need to lose a few pounds (well more like a stone) after eating and drinking far too much in the past month (again if telling the truth year)

i will post my starting weight and height on 01/01/07

anyone fancy joining me??

No, we're not! I bet I've put on weight again. Have you noticed I tend to be on line around mealtimes? If my fingers are busy, then I'm less likely to munch whilst waiting for things to cook!

Just weighed myself - lost a lb despite all those lapses. I'm trying to take this as motivation to think about what I can do if I try harder!

Thanks, Ready. Don't get too paranoid - I was convinced I had gained, too. I managed to be really active today: I went to Tesco instead of shopping on line (bad for the bank balance, bought loads of clothes for dd , came home, put the shopping away and then took dd and dog for a long walk. Feeling very virtuous now!

Hello everyone I am afraid to say I will be joining you again had another ectopic last week.I didnt have to have surgery this time so still got one tube left. So can try again and next time i am going to be a stone lighter. I am going to weigh my self next monday hopefully will have stopped bleeding by then.

Roskva!! I stalled again! But I am pleased, cos I was certain that I had gained!! It has spurred me on the really make and effort this week!! I will lose some weight next week!!

A baby also brings built in weights workouts - the heavier dd gets, the more strenuous it is to lift her! I hope you don't have to wait too long until your little bundle of joy is on the way - makes me feel greedy wanting another.

I hope I don't have to wait too long either. My period is due tomorrow, and my temperature dropped today, so it's not looking good. So while I wait, I shall just continue to try and lose a bit of weight.

On the diet front, I have been good, but will probably lapse this weekend as we have visitors. On the health front, I'm getting sporadic pain which I think is related to the c-section. My gp said it was ovulation pain, but it happens several times a month, so I don't think so.

Roskva, sorry to hear that you are getting pain. Make sure your GP doesn't fob you off! You need to make sure you are sorted in that area, so you can try for #2 No, seriously, that doesn't sound good. Hope you get it sorted soon.

Glad to hear that you are doing well on the diet, I have not been too bad, although a friend popped by and brough Maltesers with her on Thursday!! Not been too bad other than that, although period arrived today, which means I will not make it through the weekend without chocolate!!

I had a toasted tea cake with butter earlier - well, I can't go out for tea and not have something nice! Supper is healthy so it's not all bad.

Weighed my self this morning 11stone 8lbs in the morning after breakfast. Just ordered a pedometer you are meant to do 10000 steps a day not sure if thats a lot or not. Might go for a quick jog tonight but not starting with the food till tomorrow, my dads just come back from skiing and bought me a big box of choccies and a bottle of red wine. So might have to get rid of them tonight. Hopefully be 11stone 4lb by next week if I really go for it with the exercise.

I most certainly did enjoy my weekend of chocolate!! I am not sure my scales will be too chuffed with me tomorrow morning, but I don't mind. I have my period, so I am allowed to be a bit heavy

Gu souffles were on special in tesco, so I had to have them!!! Went down a treat with me and Dh.

Cedar, enjoy your chocs and wine, and a jog will burn off the calories!!

Oooooh, Gu soufles, they are gorgeous. I'm sitting here with my very healthy mushroom and pepper omelette. Forgot to weigh myself this morning, so will do it tomorrow.

Went for a jog last night so feeling quite pleased with my self I might even manage one tonight.

I lost 3 lbs last week, which means that I am half a stone lighter than I was at the beginning of the year, yippppeeeeee !

have lost 4.5 lbs since i started slimming world 4 weeks ago the best thing is in that time it has not gone up which is good for me as i use to lose then gain then lose the gain. Am sure you know how it goes. x

Well I am thoroughly ashamed of myself. I put on a lb!! That means I am back to where I started at the beginning of the year. I don't even think that the blush icon is good enough to show my disgust at myself.

BUT. Hopefully it is just the kick up the bum I need. Especially since you are doing so well.

I WILL BE GOOD!!!! I WANT TO SUCCEED!!!!!
