New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Hi all. Place marking on the new thread. CD9 so naff all to report. I'm considering opk from tomorrow but in all honesty it could be because I'm bored.
I had painful ov during my wtf cycle and then a very short lp....hence the cp Sad
Stats...37 ttc #3, mmc Feb 15, cp March 15, CD9

mrsdiddlydoo · 20/03/2015 07:29

17th April isn't too far away mrsC and I'm sure the time off TTC will help you heal a little bit more. I would describe my support as patchy! I don't qualify for referral to the rmc clinic under nhs rules unless I mc again, or grow a bit older. I feel so helpless and concerned I'll just mc again when we next get pregnant and my losses have been so close to the end of the first tri. Its so time consuming. I needed to feel like I am doing something and can't afford to go wholely private so have followed many other lovely ladies on the rmc thread (you should come over. You'd be most welcome, it is a very fast moving thread with v knowledgeable ladies) to Coventry. In one breath I don't want medical intervention and want my previous mc to be bad luck, but then I don't want another mc so am happy to try something. Progesterone is needed to support a healthy lining and pregnancy until the placenta takes over so low levels could affect things. There has been a huge trial called PROMISE on its effects in preventing mc but its results are overdue. Should be published really soon. being pestered for breakfast now...

mrsdiddlydoo · 20/03/2015 07:38

(The rmc thread can be found on the miscarriage board of talk btw)

GirlSailor · 20/03/2015 07:58

Hi! Just popping in to wish everyone a good Friday. Big hello to all the new arrivals, I first posted when I mc last month and its been great having so many knowledgeable people around as I don't have any friends who have been through it before. Hope you all have a good weekend Smile

CarrotPuff · 20/03/2015 08:41

Morning all,

MrsC that appointment will probably come just in time for your wtf cycle to finish. I hope they give you some answers Flowers

MrsD I really hope you don't need that referral because you get your sticky bean next time!

Welcome newbies, sorry you find yourself here Flowers

AF has buggered off so we're back on TTC horse. DTD yesterday, although it's probably a bit early. But then I was feeling very horny so wondering if I'll have an early ovulation this month? I hope so. Last month it was late... This morning however I woke up with dodgy stomach Confused

Would be very nice to get a BFP this month as it would be just before DP's bday so I could splash out on a digi and wrap it up as a present. We shall see...

Bristolian1 · 20/03/2015 10:03

Happy Friday ladies!Wine
MrsD I just wanted to say that I'm in pretty much the same position as you and totally understand the tension between just wanting the last 2 MC to be bad luck and not wanting it to happen again. I'm sticking with the NHS for now and nervously TTC again.
Still no smiley face here yet..... Wink

Happy Friday to you too girlsailor and may it be a good weekend for all of us Grin

Thanks carrot the thought of a sticky one actually really happening makes me smile.

Third time lucky for both of us Bristolian next time I say.

Anyone have much planned this weekend? I just want to survive any impending baby news from dsil (could pop anytime) , eat cake and maybe catch up on some sleep, but that's a bit ambitious in our house!

CarrotPuff · 20/03/2015 14:00

My DP is working on Sunday, so not much planned at all unfortunately!

Sleep would be good... DS is slowly progressing from 5am wake ups to 6am, this morning it was 6.20. I really need him to move to after 7am. It's still early but manageable. I'm not a morning person at all! Why on earth I decided to have kids?

Romeolovesjuliet · 20/03/2015 14:11

DH is away so I'm home alone with the kids - at least they will keep me busy and away from any early POAS temptation!

MrsConfusion · 20/03/2015 17:17

Saturday afternoon will be mostly taken up with rugby-watching... As I support England and DH supports Wales, we'll need to change DD mid-afternoon (yes we've each bought her the relevant kit... so sad....) to avoid any quarrels.

Rest of the weekend will be mostly me trying to build up stamina for work on Monday, by looking after DD while DH tries to catch up on all the work he missed last week and week before while I was in and out of hospital. Poor chap has a pile of deadlines.

Lots of love to all

MelonMelon · 20/03/2015 19:03

Grrrr can I rant? I havr crossed my legs for 4 hours to save a wee (sorry tmi) to do an opk with once I got home from work. Got home, done the test and got an error message! Now I have to wait another 4 hours and have wasted a stick!

onefootinthebed · 20/03/2015 19:30

Hi I sort of jump on and out of threads like this as I'm not Good at following really.I have had some great advice and support from them.

39,one ds 2.9 and three miscarriages in 2014, having had test and blah blah blah we are tried again this month I have short cycles of 21 - 25 days I'm on day 23 now and really impatient. I was going to test before but have none in . However I am alittle superstitious and today I seen two magpies (2 for joy) then i saw four out of the corner of my eye (4for a boy). Yes getting carried away here, someone please pass me a grip.

Sorry to meet you all here.

epskie · 20/03/2015 20:10

Hi everybody, happy Friday! More questions from me I'm afraid. I got a smiley opk on Wednesday so dtd Wednesday night and last night. My 14 year old ds has a friend sleeping over tonight and I feel like there's no way we can do it, will I still be relatively covered? If I dtd tomorrow and Sunday? Thanks guys x

mrsdiddlydoo · 20/03/2015 20:54

melon sorry if tmi but I pee in a cup/glass/container then I can use the same sample of pee several times to dip to my hearts content.

epskie sounds good to me. Do you get any other signs of ov? Pains or ewcm? They help me know when to DTD and when ewcm changes I give up!

Hi onefoot do you plan to test in a couple of days or wait for a no show of AF?

epskie · 20/03/2015 21:10

Thanks MrsD this is the first month I've been tracking. I've had terrible pain but it's my first ov since my mc. My ewcm has been there but quite sparse x

Allthequeenshorses · 21/03/2015 09:01

Good morning ladies old and new. Hope everyone's ok today.

I'm feeling rough rough as this morning so I am now symptom spotting. The last two times I got a bfp I felt rough after a glass of wine during that cycle. I don't mean a glass of wine after I got a bfp, like in the lead up to it. Anyhoo I had one glass last night and fell sick this morning so no more wine this month. Gp appointment booked but my dr is in holiday and the gp has been so lovely I want to keep the same one so that's not for a couple of weeks.
I have also had a hot stone massage this month, first in my life, and have hit ovulation with DTD I hope although I can't get smiley positives just cheaply amazon positives. That's all my news. Fingers and toes crossed that I get somewhere this month. It's also six month cycle after last mc which is when I got bfp last time. I'm sure these things don't work in a pattern but you can see me ruthlessly grasping at straws and hope. Flowers to all today.

Cariad2014 · 21/03/2015 09:37

Ooooh AlltheQueens - it's sounding promising. I shall be keeping my fingers and toes crossed that this is THE cycle for you. A Christmas baby would be so much fun! Grin

CD10 at this end and I got my first high on my CBFM this morning. Sadly however I seem to have flu (which is brilliant timing as it's my birthday next week so DH and I had planned a really fun pre-birthday weekend and I'm now too unwell to leave the house) so I'm not sure we'll manage to dtd today. Desperately hoping that I feel better by the time I ov - the thought of having to abandon the pharmacy of lemsip and throat medicines that are keeping me going is filling me with dread.

Hope you're doing ok MrsConfusion - glad to hear you have an appointment booked in for the 17th. Loving the way you have two rugby kits for DD! I suspect DH and I will be the same if we have dcs.

Yokyil · 21/03/2015 10:56

Which ovulation kits do all you lovely ladies use? Due to test next Saturday - but if I'm not successful wanna be prepared with trying the opks for the first time Wink have the flu too -- docs first thing Monday Sad

epskie · 21/03/2015 12:13

yokyil I've been using the clearblue digital and I found it quite good!

MelonMelon · 21/03/2015 13:42

I've used the Internet cheapies and currently on the clear blue digital. I recommend avoiding at all costs! I wish I'd never stared using them as it's just more stress you don't need! Not buying any for next cycle.

Yokyil · 21/03/2015 14:17

Thanks epskie and Melon...will see how POAS goes next week then I may check with the opks. Have such a short cycle, need to just make sure when I am actually Ovulating Shock just been guess work!

onefootinthebed · 21/03/2015 15:05

Mrsdiddy

onefootinthebed · 21/03/2015 15:21

Mrsdiddy, I am leaving it a while I did just buy a test although I feel like I have period pains coming on. The dreams over for another month .

mrsdiddlydoo · 21/03/2015 18:33

onefoot its not over until AF shows. I still get period type pains when I have had bfps...fingers and toes crossed for you

SaltySeaBird · 21/03/2015 18:50

TTC#2 for last 20 months with one 8 week MC (although not my first, we had one before DD as well).

Just feeling fed up as we are approaching two years of trying now and it feels like everyone around me is pregnant at the moment ... Four people quite close to me have announced their pregnancies in March and I'm very suspect that another announcement is imminent (friend on "antibiotics so can't drink" for the last month, has gained a few pounds "drugs bloating my stomach" and didn't touch a soft cheese platter at a recent thing we went to when I know Brie is her favourite thing in the world ...).

For some reason I really thought March would be my month.
