New thread!
This thread pretty much does what it says on the tin...
Shall we start with some stats?
I'm 32, TTC since last Jan, 2x MMC last year and on second cycle of trying again.

Thanks for the encouragement Disney. You're right about sex ed scare mongering. Smile

Got my fingers crossed for you nouser

ibeka · 11/05/2015 21:13

nouser that looks very promising to me..... Can't wait to see the re-test tomorrow!

red I OVed yesterday I think... so can I cling onto hold hands with you, mary and romeo for the next couple of weeks? Going to POAS Friday 23rd as I am going away for the weekend so want to know before I go!

disney it's not just men! In the first month I came off the pill I did loads of random tests with no logic to it at all! I feel like a right liar when teaching sex ed now!!!

MarysPrayer · 11/05/2015 21:18

That's a few of us who are cycle buddies Smile Ibeka I'll be 14dpo on 23rd so may poas too!

I'm still not convinced that we dtd enough/at the right time. Will have to have a serious talk with dh next month. ..

ibeka · 11/05/2015 21:18

I miscarried last month, according to cm and usual cycle timing I ovulated last well so we did our normal AI- now stuck in the 2ww... Feels like it would be too good to be true to get a bfp this time so soon though.

Nousername2015 · 12/05/2015 05:58

Morning ladies, couldn't get a FRER (tried 3 places!) so had to stick with a trusty asda. Line more noticeable than yesterday but there's still 2 days to go until AF is officially late. Will try again to get a FRER today, fingers still firmly crossed.

Congratulations noname that's a definite bfp! Flowers

DisneyMillie · 12/05/2015 06:46

Definitely darkening up nouser huge congrats.

How are all the pregnant girls doing? Hope it's all going smoothly xx

Nousername2015 · 12/05/2015 06:48

Thanks brickie, you're very kind. Refusing to believe it at the moment until AF is well and truly late and the line is stronger. Also got it into my head that both are false positives (even though from different boxes), or that this will be a chemical pregnancy so going to keep testing. Even if I do eventually believe it I'm going to stick around here for a few weeks, at no point at the moment do I think that a real life baby is going to come out of all this!

redredwine4 · 12/05/2015 08:28

Congratulations nousername! Great news! Keep the bfps coming.

Loving it ibeka. Here's to a positive end to this tww for us all.

I totally hear you marys. DH has absolutely no concerns that we'll be pg soon. He thinks three months after mc is early days. How blissful to have that attitude. You don't see any men on this type of forum!

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 09:51

Congrats Nouser! Def a darker line today :) I know what you mean though, it's only natural to feel cautious but all good so far! :)

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 09:53

DH and I are both not expecting to fall pg again soon as much as we both desperately want to. So we are trying so hard to focus on other things and to book a holiday to have something else to think about. It's hard though, my every thought consists of becoming pg again and having a baby.

Adventuregame · 12/05/2015 12:43

First AF after ERPC arrived today. CD41 which is about right for me. Means my opks I posted on the 27th was spot on 2 weeks ago. I counted the day of the ERPC as Day 1 so I should be roughly looking at ovulating on Day 26 of my cycles !

DisneyMillie · 12/05/2015 13:49

Can I ask some opinions please - I've been feeling a bit period painy (2 1/2 weeks after start of mc) which I tend to get around ovulation (I think - never tracked) so I thought I'd try a boots ovulation test (saving cbfm for after first AF).

I've never done an ovulation test before so not sure exactly how dark test line needs to be compared to control - I know the pic is a bit fuzzy but would this be positive ovulation? How light are the negative lines??!

CarrotPuff · 12/05/2015 15:26

I would say this is positive - go jump your OH Disney!

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 15:29

Yes disney that looks like a pos opk to me!

DisneyMillie · 12/05/2015 15:52

Poor boy - he's desperate for a baby but he hates being told he has to dtd - he likes it to be spontaneous and romantic Grin

Will try the subtle approach - if that doesn't work I'll be resorting to the adult channels for our viewing (I'm ashamed to admit it but it works and I'm impatient - I can't wait until his moods match my ovulation Blush)

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 17:17

Disney needs must....whatever it takes!!! lol

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 17:19

I have the opposite problem....no ovulation in sight and a man ready to dtd any hour of the day! Lol

Nousername2015 · 12/05/2015 17:24

I'm glad AF has turned up for you adventure and I hope that your dad is doing better now.

disney I think you know what you need to be doing right now! Wink

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 18:29

Adventure that's great you can start with a fresh cycle now and know when to expect ovulation. Wish I knew when I would ovulate or at least get a bfn....patience is a virtue...blah blah blah...

redredwine4 · 12/05/2015 19:21

I really don't like the whole ttc thing from the point of view of 'having' to Dtd. That was one of very many lovely things about having got pg! I don't like the relationship dynamic of me knowing the critical time and having to make the approach to DH. It's all very unromantic. It must be easier if you are constant shaggerd anyway. But we both have pretty heavy jobs and, whilst at it enough, not enough to maximise chances of getting pg.

Moan over- it's just a real pain sometimes to always have ttc on your mind, particularly when none of us should still be talking about but have moved on to waiting for little ones xx

MarysPrayer · 12/05/2015 20:35

Couldn't agree more Red. Disney I haven't been brave enough to tell dh about opks and suchlike, in case he ends up with 'stage-fright', as so many of the dh's on these boards seem to get. Trouble is I'm not great at initiating things and dh seems to mostly be 'up-for-it' on the wrong days Confused

Mamama I really hope things get back to normal for you soon. Flowers
Adventure good to hear that they have for you Smile

Mamama31 · 12/05/2015 21:00

Red it seems like everyone has different issues. Ours is that DH is quite happy to dtd as often as I like and he actually would have a higher sex drive than I would but I try to keep up to maximise our chances and have always more than covered the fertile time EVERY month....despite this it took almost 2 years for our bfp then we had a mmc. However the month we concieved I was away and only returned on time for ovulation and dtd once only!! And that was enough. So I just think it's down to fate now, what will be will be whether we dtd 10 times, 5 times or 1 time....if the time is right it will happen.
