Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied and adapted from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others. Also know as 'the witch', 'bitch witch' and 'that one with the red shiny convertible'

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in! PONF = Pee on Nigel Farage. Self explanatory, who wouldn't?

ROC - Receptacle of Choice - what one chooses to use for the task of POAS. Optional decorations include photographs of controversial political leaders.

JIAC = Jizz in a Cup. Preferable to jizz on the carpet or jizz in the eye. This one's for the lucky men in our lives.

Shagging like Something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession. Warning - this may happen to you if you start trying to POAS at 5dpo. PUT. THE. PISSY. STICK. DOWN. IT'S TOO EARLY!

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

SOTM = Shagger of the Month. Awarded with varying regularity to those viroids who go above and beyond EOD shagging in pursuit of that BFP

TWOT - Two Weeks of Torture. AKA Schroedingering!
TWPU - Two Week Piss Up!

Keeping your gingers = fingers crossed, yet another autocorrect development! Shortened to 'gx'

Doing A Lemon = Testing WAAAAAAAY to early!

Miroid - The male compadre of a viroid

Cat - Compulsory

CountryGal4 · 01/03/2015 19:04

Does anyone else got nausea as an ovulation/early luteal phase symptom

Hobbit19 · 01/03/2015 19:24

Oh Lil. Sad Hugs.

Country , I feel nauseous on and off all the time at the mo, thought it might be work stress but had it on holiday too. Jelly said it can be caused by progesterone though which you get in the LP. Mine got worse in vehicles which is weird because I never get motion sickness.

CountryGal4 · 01/03/2015 19:37

Had in yesterday and a little today. Noticed the same last month. Ergh

jellypi3 · 01/03/2015 19:47

It's Probably your bodies reaction to icing country.

I just had a funny turn in the bath, came over all faint and giddy and felt like I was going to throw up! Didn't even get to wash my hair!

Thankyou for the birthday wishes. It was a nice but difficult at times weekend. Can't remember what I said on last thread but I went to a musical yesterday and it felt really poignant and that made me cry but it wasn't bad, it was just that the music was quite healing. Then breakfast in a very high up restaurant today.

I was gutted about wasting the hotels, it's never bothered me this much. Hospital for dildocam on Tuesday. I don't know what I will do if they say there's still something there and I need an op.

Hope you are feeling ok jelli.

Congrats daisy.

Hobbit19 · 01/03/2015 21:56

Oh dear, Viroids down all over the shop! Small cat has got cat flu poor little bean. Worried about leaving her to go to work tomorrow. In other news I have started to look for jobs outside of teaching. (YES!!) Was giving my friend's little boy bath time tonight and thought I don't want to be doing this with my kids and rushing it due to the pile of marking downstairs. Plus I has a rubbish week at work. Went to see SLT to say I could not continue doing 12 hour days every day. They were sympathetic but had no solution (there isn't one). So I'm getting out, this feels GOOD! Slightly more complicated by ttc but I will solider on Smile

Hobbit19 · 01/03/2015 21:58

P.s. also feel slightly like a failure/statistic but also really don't care!! Smile

ZylaB · 01/03/2015 22:06

one don't feel like a failure, work/life balance is important and its non-existent teaching in schools. That's part of the reason I stopped, trust me..if your heart isn't in it, you'll grow to hate it!

Hobbit19 · 01/03/2015 22:24

Zyla, you are absolutely right, which is a shame as I have really loved teaching for 4 years, and I am good at it, but the workload is killing me.

Ainat266 · 01/03/2015 22:31

what kind of jobs are you looking at one? I love teaching and can't imagine doing anything else, but the admin side of it is taking its toll... especially at the minute. just as I think I'm getting on top of it all something else comes along or I've realised I've forgotten something...

oh, congrats daisy!!! Enjoy the wedding planning, don't let it stress you out and you'll love it!

I need to start being strict again on the diet. I barely lost anything in Feb. though I did re-buy a pair of jeans this weekend in a smaller size. :-)

Hobbit19 · 01/03/2015 22:47

Still in education but without the teaching load - support and/or management role so in HE. I am currently HOD (department of 24 staff!) So feel as though I have some good transferable skills. I am willing to give up my summer holiday so I know it is serious! Sad that the current education system makes me feel like this but I can't see the workload getting any less.

honeysucklejasmine · 01/03/2015 23:41

Blimey Pud, you climbed the ladder fast! I highly recommend leaving teaching, although i am dipping a toe again tomorrow, running after school revision session.

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 01:52

I moved to teaching adults, which randomly didn't expect me to be working evenings! Lost holidays though!

jellypi3 · 02/03/2015 07:25

Morning viroids. I'm off work today because the dizziness and headache hasn't gone. Also didn't temp last night but I swear I can feel AF coming. So a bad mood all round.

I've actually been considering a job in teaching. My DP says not to because he did his PGCE and hated it, and it did make him very miserable. I take it you lot wouldn't recommend it either haha?
7DPO today.

ZylaB · 02/03/2015 07:27

I love the teaching part jelly it's just all the other shit and after hours work that are bad. I wouldn't want to do it with a family!

justtheonethen · 02/03/2015 07:48

I am off today too, awful headache, sick and dizzy when i stand up. Got massive teacher guilt at not being in.

Know what you mean one i don't think i can keep up the 12hr days when i have children. I would never see them.

Stoatystoat · 02/03/2015 07:51

Another viroid off today, I'm on the 2nd week of my sick note. I have a friend popping to see me this morning.

jellypi3 · 02/03/2015 08:00

What's going on with us viroids! We're all sick.

OP posts:
honeysucklejasmine · 02/03/2015 08:05

Sorry so many viroids are feeling shit Flowers

Just I used to get such teacher guilt that when i was off (generally cause I couldn't walk without severe pain, due to lupus) I would set up on the sofa and do departmental admin jobs, so i was still useful! Blush

Right, today i am leading a "class" for a revision session. I'm a little bit nervous, been almost a year since my last classroom lesson. Eek! I know some of the kids but am imagining 100s of them squeezed in to one room, being typical year 11s! active imagination

gaggiagirl · 02/03/2015 08:13

Get well soon viroids!

justtheonethen · 02/03/2015 08:27

honey good luck! You will be fine, they won't be as bad as you imagine. Plus in my y6 revision sessions if they piss about they lose their place!

jellypi3 · 02/03/2015 08:51

Good luck honey!!
