The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Sunbathing I would take cd18 as your positive then as it was the darkest and tied in with your peak cbfm. I'm sure all is fine. Just make sure you're DTD loads Wink

Sounds like you've got it covered! Fx

MrsConfusion · 21/09/2014 23:03

Another southerner here, although I've been oop north and in midlands in the past!

I've been trying to catch up after weekend away. Crikey we'll need a new thread soon! Allthefours so sorry to hear about your friend, cancer truly in hateful and heartbreaking for her DCs to lose her. It sounds like she was amazing and did so much with her time, truly an inspiration. Thanks

Yay congrats MrsBee such lovely news.
Welcome to the newbies, so sorry you're here but this is a great place to find support and hugs. Clara your experience sounds similar to me, take it gently when you go back to work as your body is still healing (and your heart/mind v much so)
Tori get those paracetamol in, lovely to find another F1-heard on here, just finished catching up on the race Grin

I'm still in WTF cycle, no sign of AF (29 days post ERPC, but not sure if timing will have been messed up by infection - any ideas??).

To continue the theme of DTD near parents/in-laws.... Last night we stayed at my parents' house. Finally after over a week apart I was able to go to bed with DH (he's been working late or away), 'twas nice, started DTD v quietly as my mum as still up. Suddenly, CRASH, the bed literally collapses under us. We're left in tangle with bums on floor, head still up on pillows and feet goodness knows where. Slats all over the floor and mattress in V shape. Cue me hissing loudly 'get some blinking clothes on in case my parents burst in', then silent giggles as we tried to rebuild bed (it's a stupid design where somehow the DTD action had sprung nearly all of the slats off the frame) so we're scrabbling around trying to find all the pieces, get them back together and get mattress back on as quietly as we can. With minimal lighting. I've never had such hysterics, still giggling now to think of it. No entrance from parents thank goodness so we, um, moved to floor... Blush

This morning, my Mum collars DH (before I was up - she's sneaky) to ask if that was the bed collapsing she heard as it turns out she was in the next room. He makes up some story about trying to get out for a glass of water and it just went from under him, and that all the noise was him trying to find the light switch... she apparently believed him and is now threatening to complain to the manufacturers!!!! So, do we own up or just let her complain??

Treaclepie19 · 22/09/2014 06:53

I'd just let her complain, far less embarrassing. Hehe :p

FF has pushed my ovulation back a day again so I'm 7dpo again. Still not convinced ive actually ovulated.

mrs thank you for starting my Monday with a smile. That's hilarious!!!

Thepurplegiraffe · 22/09/2014 07:53

MrsC I would let her complain as well. Surely a bed shouldn't break that easily...

Metalhead · 22/09/2014 08:29

Ha ha! that made me laugh mrs! Grin

No temp rise this morning so looks like my body tried to ov but didn't, just hope it has another go soon...

ignominious · 22/09/2014 08:50

Sunbathing I'm the same I have positive opk cd 16 17 18 and faint on 15 is that too long? Found out my thermometer is not appropriate so have stopped temping. If AF comes this month I'll buy one.

Haha mrs, amazing! Let her complain! Might not be the reason it be broke but surely any bed should be built to withstand DTD!!

Floor sex, just like being a teenager! Haha.

Congrats Tori, how many dpo are you? I take 5mg folic acid. You can get 800mcg folic acid from amazon. X

MrsConfusion what a brilliantly funny story. That has brightened up my day!

Tori -whoop Grin It certainly sounds like you put the effort in DTD this month and looks like it's paid off Grin I'm pretty sure you'll be able to by folic acid yourself from Holland and Barrett or somewhere like that.

ignominious · 22/09/2014 13:09

Sunbathing I am new to FF and have found it very educational! Which bits don't you like? I am entering only opk cm and dtd but the temping bit looks good. There's a game where you can learn to read the charts and predict ovulation. I got one right in about 20.

sun I find FF very good, easy to use and nice to keep track of everything.

charlieis30 · 22/09/2014 13:37

I'm another FF user - it works very well for me. I just use the free version, but I like having all that data.
