Another southerner here, although I've been oop north and in midlands in the past!
I've been trying to catch up after weekend away. Crikey we'll need a new thread soon! Allthefours so sorry to hear about your friend, cancer truly in hateful and heartbreaking for her DCs to lose her. It sounds like she was amazing and did so much with her time, truly an inspiration.
Yay congrats MrsBee such lovely news.
Welcome to the newbies, so sorry you're here but this is a great place to find support and hugs. Clara your experience sounds similar to me, take it gently when you go back to work as your body is still healing (and your heart/mind v much so)
Tori get those paracetamol in, lovely to find another F1-heard on here, just finished catching up on the race
I'm still in WTF cycle, no sign of AF (29 days post ERPC, but not sure if timing will have been messed up by infection - any ideas??).
To continue the theme of DTD near parents/in-laws.... Last night we stayed at my parents' house. Finally after over a week apart I was able to go to bed with DH (he's been working late or away), 'twas nice, started DTD v quietly as my mum as still up. Suddenly, CRASH, the bed literally collapses under us. We're left in tangle with bums on floor, head still up on pillows and feet goodness knows where. Slats all over the floor and mattress in V shape. Cue me hissing loudly 'get some blinking clothes on in case my parents burst in', then silent giggles as we tried to rebuild bed (it's a stupid design where somehow the DTD action had sprung nearly all of the slats off the frame) so we're scrabbling around trying to find all the pieces, get them back together and get mattress back on as quietly as we can. With minimal lighting. I've never had such hysterics, still giggling now to think of it. No entrance from parents thank goodness so we, um, moved to floor...
This morning, my Mum collars DH (before I was up - she's sneaky) to ask if that was the bed collapsing she heard as it turns out she was in the next room. He makes up some story about trying to get out for a glass of water and it just went from under him, and that all the noise was him trying to find the light switch... she apparently believed him and is now threatening to complain to the manufacturers!!!! So, do we own up or just let her complain??
