The Rules...

(1) A lady may only POAS on a Friday.
(2) Friday means the day that everyone calls Friday in the time zone where you spent the night.
(3) Rule (1) does not apply to POA-OPK-S, UNLESS they are being illegitimately used as surrogate HCG detectors, in which case Rule (1) most definitely does apply
(4) Rule (1) does not apply following a BFP because if you want to waste £25 a day POADigiS that's your prerogative
(5) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady is POAS in an attempt to get a BFN to prove she can start DTD with intent
(6) Rule (1) does not apply if a lady wants for unknown reason to pee on an actual stick, like a twig or some such, if that lady is unexpectedly caught short whilst tramping in the forest looking for bears.
(7) These rules (including Rule (1)) are subject to the change at any time if the ladies of the Posifrickentivity thread decide on a whim come up with empirical evidence to prove that it is luckier to POAS on any other day of the week
(8) Violators of Rule (1) shall be subject to fish throwing.

And as a grand finale, why not pledge to NEVER POAS before 14DPO?

Wiggly. I am very sorry to hear of your losses. If you want to pop over to the recurrent miscarriage thread you will find a lot of women who have been through similar and know how you are feeling right now. I also know a few of them are keen on reflexology and acupuncture though it's not something I have looked into myself.

Have you physically miscarried yet? Although the NHS are unlikely to do any tests after 2mcs unless there are other issues they already know about, sometimes it's an option to pay for private testing - the most useful of which might be embryo testing to find out if there are chromosomal abnormalities (the most common cause of miscarriage) or not (which might prompt some further testing). I was never able to catch the "products" of my natural mcs though so haven't had these tests myself.

Tranquilitybaby · 19/09/2014 14:41

Purple we are going to TTC again straight away next week too. It's the only way I can think of to try and ease this sadness that's sept over me today. Sad I don't care about dating either, a scan will confirm that anyway xx

WigglyBraddins · 19/09/2014 14:41

Thanks lurker

I have physically miscarried but what you've said is very useful for next time (fingers crossed there won't be a next time).

WigglyBraddins · 19/09/2014 14:43

Oh yes, and I meant to say that I'm going to have a week of feeling sorry for myself and then will get back with trying to conceive (if DH and I both feel like it).

Tranquilitybaby · 19/09/2014 14:43

Hugs wiggly x

Sunbathing That information is soooo helpful. You are lovely Thanks

Brummiegirl15 · 19/09/2014 14:58

Hi wiggly so sorry to see you here. I agree with lurker recurrent mc is great. Really supportive, as is everyone on here.

Purple after both my mc's we still tried in the wtf cycle. Nothing happened - but it made me feel like we were at least doing something.

After my first mc I got pregnant again after my first AF. Sadly I lost that one at 9 weeks.

So AF has been and gone - cracked open my Clearblue sticks. Couldn't help myself. But what will be will be. If anything, I can at least see if I'm ovulating and around what day.
£23 a month though is an expensive habit! Looked at price of monitor - £169 in Boots with £14 for the sticks!!!! WTF?

Will see how I get on for a couple of months. Won't tell DP though as the pressure freaked him out last time so will be my guilty little secret

Thepurplegiraffe · 19/09/2014 15:30

Brummie that must have been awful to get that far the second time only to have it happen again. I am truly in awe of how positive everybody is on this thread when reading what people have been through.

Tranquility I feel the same today, more emotional as the days go by I think. Going to start operation dtd tonight even though I know it's a few days early, just to feel I am doing something. Hope you are ok.

StopEatingThatMud · 19/09/2014 16:23

Oh wiggly you were a couple of weeks ahead of me on the April AN thread, I wondered how you were doing. So sorry to bump into you again here.

Wine and fluconazole have been purchased here. DP is working late night tonight so won't be home til 11pm+, preschooler DD is in full on tired whinge mode after refusing to go to bed the last couple of nights, the wine can't be opened soon enough!

Treaclepie19 · 19/09/2014 17:06

Hi wiggly, I am so sorry to hear that. Sending you massive hugs :(
Take all the time you need, don't rush yourself.

It's dh's birthday tomorrow. We're out for a meal tonight. I want a bottle of wine but at a few dpo not sure really if its a good idea still. Especially since we're at a party for him tomorrow.
Hmm I hate this debate.

Foxtrot7459 · 19/09/2014 21:00

Sorry wiggly xx

It's quiet on here tonight. The last couple of days I have been away with work on a large department get together ( we are spread all over country). These happen twice a year. It dawned on me last night that I should have been 5 1/2 months pregnant now, I got a bit pissed off with that thought. So I drowned my sorrows spectacularly, danced on a table and stayed in the bar til 4am. Suffering big time for it now, 3 hours sleep is not good for me! I had a power nap when I got home and am now back in bed for an early night.

Sometimes though, it just has to be done and I enjoyed myself doing it.

MaGratgarlik1983 · 19/09/2014 21:15

Hi everyone, just wondered if I could drop in to say hi. DH and I found out we were pregnant on an early detection hpt on one Saturday but then the following Friday I started to bleed and my hgc levels went down so that the hpt was negative. We were so upset although it was only so early (4 +3) but we'd already started to plan things out etc. This happened two weeks ago and feeling much better about everything by now. Really want to try again but we're going to wait a cycle first. It's just so hard thinking I'm oving and we're not going to ttc this month but I think we both need the time. Anyway sorry to go on, just thought I'd say hi :)

Fergie11 · 19/09/2014 21:18

Sorry you've joined this thread wiggly & maGratgarlokbut as others have said everyone is so supportive and fingers crossed you'll get a sticky bean soon.

Can't wait to find out how the herbs work this month sunbathing it sounds really .

We all need a night like that foxtrot and at least I it's Friday so you can chill out and recover.

Well AF has arrived today which is brilliant and it's 31days since erpc, exactly the same time as first mc. Although my cycle is usually 26days I can't moan about 5 days. Already planning Dtd days just need to give dh the schedule lol

Fergie11 · 19/09/2014 21:40

Sorry sunbathing that should have said really positive x

daisysunshine2 · 19/09/2014 21:43

Thank you :)
Ive had far too much wine :/ the same will probably happen tomorrow.
I just figure I've spent too much time worrying about not drinking and then not getting my bfp.
If I do this month ill worry... shall read back now.

Sorry to hear that Tori, big hugs Flowers You never know though as the symptoms of both can be quite similar.

Welcome to the newbies. Sorry you find yourselves here but it's a great place for support.

Last night I worked out that if I'm successful this month my due date will be two days before my birthday. What a nice birthday present that would be FX.

StopEatingThatMud · 20/09/2014 09:05

tori not stupid at all. Today is 4 weeks since my mc and I can't motivate myself to do anything at all today. DP gone to work, DD and I still in pj's until she has to go to ballet. My house looks like a bombs hit and I just don't care.

Hello to the newbies, sorry you have to be here. Will catch up properly later with everyone's news, promise.

Treaclepie19 · 20/09/2014 09:23

It's not stupid at all. Sending big hugs.

Well although I shouldn't have drunk so much yesterday it did bring us closer about the mc. DH was talking about how unfair it is. First time he's said that.
Fertility friend has now judged that I ovulated on cd17, making me 5 dpo! Definitely shouldnt have had drinks last night should I? :/

Metalhead · 20/09/2014 10:56

Welcome newbies and sorry for your losses.

treacle please don't worry about the drinking, at 5dpo you wouldn't even have implanted yet! I'm glad you had a nice time and a good chat with your DH.

I finally got a +opk today at CD20, so expect I will ov on Monday. Still no ewcm, but thankfully I've got a couple of tubes of Conceive Plus left... I shall go into town later and buy some new sexy underwear to seduce DH tonight!

Treaclepie19 · 20/09/2014 11:31

Thanks metal :)
I do worry too much.

Sounds like you've got a good seduction plan :p
