Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

God there is so much chat that I've forgotten what was said at the start. Hope you're doing ok Red, I think worrying is perfectly normal. Go easy on those piss-sticks though Smile.

I'd love twins in theory, MrWil would flip.

I'm going back to bed. I went at 7 when I got in from work and then thought I should get up for a bit but it was clearly an error!

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 21:21

I'd love twins!

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 21:21

Think it's cos I think I'm getting old, so get 2 in one go ;)

Purplecircle · 11/06/2014 21:35

Me too Zyla, same reason

lil1ady · 11/06/2014 21:39

I'd hate twins. I like the idea of being pg I'm bound to regret that one day so wouldn't want to be cheated out of round 2. that and the whole 2babies at once thing.

can't remember who asked about hsg...they insert a catheter into cervix to inject dye that shows up on an xray. they take an xray obvs! and see if dye flows out of fallopion tubes or if they're blocked.

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 21:47

Alright, really random question...

if when I get pg I'm a LOT more likely to have a CS. Now I know they always do the screen thing, do you think they'd not do that if I asked, so I could see baby Being lifted out? Or would they say no?

Mind you, DH would definitely probably faint lol

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 21:49

Also, re twins, lil I'm super looking forward to being pg but am going to have to be super super vigilant doing 10 or more blood tests a day and loads of correction injections if needed etc. I won't mind, but it won't be easy, so can see the attraction in getting 2 for the price of one, as well as the age thing :)

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 21:50

Don't know why so many supers in that last post! I'll apologise and blame the cold hehe

couldbeanyone · 11/06/2014 21:52

Zyla - I had a CS and they lowered the screen when they were ready to get baby out so we saw her being born. I asked for this but it seemed to be fairly standard anyway. You'll definitely want the screen up otherwise as DH went a fabulous shade of green when he looked up at the light and saw my insides reflected on there Shock I obviously found this highly amusing GrinGrin we were warned not to look up if squeamish GrinGrin

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 21:53

Ahh thanks could great to hear we can see the important bit!

couldbeanyone · 11/06/2014 22:06

Yep and we also asked them to hold baby up so we could see whether we had a boy or a girl (rather than them announce it) - a little thing but it was quite important for me

ZylaB · 11/06/2014 22:13

That's lovely :)

Babblehag · 11/06/2014 23:45

Zyla I had an emergency cs with youngest, they asked if I wanted the screen lowered, I didn't but my honourary sister did. She was literally begging, shed have taken the scalpel and cut him out herself given half the chance!!

Red congratulations Grin

I've not been here mainly because I haven't got app, but also I'm feeling rather deflated about the whole thing ATM, there is no reason why though. I guess that I'm just incredibly impatient and annoyed at the fact that youngest was conceived so easily and this time its taking forever. I was barely eating a meal a day, ate vegetables once a week smoked 20 fags a day and was out on the piss every weekend! This time I'm eating healthily, drinking perhaps a few glasses of wine a month, haven't smoked for nearly 18 months! The worst part is he was conceived literally 4 days after my period, theoretically he shouldn't have been conceived. If I go by all the apps and everything else, so why can't I give him a little sibling. He was really sad today because neither of his brothers wanted to play with him, and he hasn't got friends his age to play with here. I know I should be grateful I have 3 awesome kids and I really am, just wish my body would let me even out the numbers abit Sad. Oh and I've been getting this weird kind of painful twinge on the right side of my growing, is this ovulation pain? I also had browny discharge a few days ago too and I've had a water infection again. Do you guys think its all linked? I don't want to consult Dr Google else I'd end up admitting myself to hospital with exaggerated symptoms of something horrendous like cholera or something.

teejayem · 12/06/2014 07:48

Well.... AF should have been here yesterday... And nothing.. Nada. Zip. I'm on day 31, trying to be very zen and mellow...

RPopz · 12/06/2014 09:13

Oooh Tee! When will you POAS???

Sorry you've been feeling down Babble, it is so frustrating. Hugs and cake Thanks x

lil1ady · 12/06/2014 09:44

hi all

tee poas already!

babble hugs. its easy to think everything means something, but the likelihood is your just noticing more things that you would be have shrugged off before. the right side pain could be ov pain if you are mid cycle though so get that cape on.

well just back from hsg. it wasn't too bad, but it was really uncomfortable/slightly painful during it. I also broke down in tears when I got in there, because the dept doesn't open until.8.30 but I was told to get there for 8.15. was feeling quite stressed. anyway, they have to look at it all in more detail but on first glance they say its looking OK in there. so, is it finally dh's turn to be prodded and poked?!!

teejayem · 12/06/2014 09:44

Well....I promised the girls in the tww thread that I would abstain until tomorrow, but I cracked (FRER in bag for emergencies) yesterday (shhhhh) , but nowt on it. I've only got a nice fancy digi to use now, and I know that they are a bit less sensitive, so I think I might actually have to hang on till after the weekend :-/ which is killer because we are at parties and bbqs for most of it. I suspect I might just be having a really long cycle, beginning to think that my lying contraband was right the second time, and i iced Monday or Tuesday last week, instead over the weekend.

RPopz · 12/06/2014 10:01

At least its over and done with now Lil Thanks Promising that they didn't immediately see any cause for concern. What happens next?

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you Tee!

Thank you RPopz just hoping the absurd amounts of shagging and pretending to play it cool when really I'm anything but have paid off......
