Ladies, Fred title says it all; we are the ones who shag as much as our men can cope with in order to get upduffed without the stress of scientific whatnots!

Fred rules (copied from previous Fred)

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce envy in other posters).

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly OPKs or temp charting. They are Contraband.

Icing = ovulating. Another autocorrect development!

Getting your Cape on = planning some serious pouncing on DH/DP

Yo. Just waiting at the hospital now. PMA!!!
I'm worried about Red, she must be in her frembreyo TWOT by now. Maybe she's just steering clear til she knows where she's at?
Didn't Mich/Snow say she was going on holiday? Or am I making that up?

ZylaB · 14/05/2014 10:01

Morning all!

SnowCoveredHills · 14/05/2014 10:28

Hello, Hello, Hello!!!! I'm here!

Ah bless you all for missing me, I'm not on holiday, just in mega busy work hell and trying not to think about ttc because I'm finally almost about to start a new job. Upduffage at this stage would not look good!

Anyway, here's me:

Name: SnowCoveredHills
Age: 35
DCs: 2 furry smelly four legged ones, no two-legged ones
TTC Since: April 2013 on and off, not a hint of a BFP in all that time

RPopz I love you for the Fred title. You're a genius

SnowCoveredHills · 14/05/2014 10:28

I too have been worrying about Red if she's reading this, I really hope she's ok Flowers

Aaaaah Cookie that's fantastic! So lovely to hear everyone's happy news on this thread. xx

wilhelminand · 14/05/2014 13:20

Thank goodness Ness, so pleased for you. Did they say what may have caused it?

Congratulations Cookie. That's brilliant news.

I hope Red comes back soon too.

So... I went to the chemist to buy something for MiniWil and it cost £4 ish. But you had to spend £5 to pay by card. So what was a girl to do? Obviously ended up buying pee sticks which are now burning a hole in my bag. I would actually laugh if by the time I go to use them, AF has arrived. I should probably not use them, but honestly that's not going to happen. Plus it's OBVIOUSLY fate that I had to buy them Hmm.

Lala5 · 14/05/2014 14:55

ness that's wonderful - and you too cookie, hooray!!

Some nice positive news today Grin

Hi mich/snow nice to see you!

Minion · 14/05/2014 17:06

Hooray for pma! Love you girls I do

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 14/05/2014 17:36

Am back, work stress has lifted slightly and my gorgeous DH has been home with sickly DS. So all OK.

So nice to hear lovely news Ness and Snow.

Will I last POAS on Thursday last week - so 6 days ago. Nothing new here, still no AF, now 9 days late.

Not sure why I haven't tested again. Guess because I don't feel remotely pregnant - no nausea, no sore boobs, nada - and because this happened to me last time we ttc as well. Not sure how long to leave it but after the initial flurry of excitement (I've been that crazy lady hurriedly buying sticks) I now can't afford be be bothered to test again.

Has anyone got a BFP after multiple BFN the same cycle with zero symptoms. It just doesn't feel very likely.

How are you doing Wil? Did you use your purchase?

ZylaB · 14/05/2014 17:57

Glad to hear that ness and yay cookie :)

cookielove · 14/05/2014 18:20

Hello ladies, just coming on to let you know I had my 20 week scan at 21 weeks today and all is well. Happy little baby boy!

cookielove · 14/05/2014 18:23

Sorry I seem to have posted that twice Confused

wilhelminand · 14/05/2014 19:05

It's important news Cookie, you post it as many times as you like!

Well Before, I did use my purchase and I am tentatively going to claim that I have a BFP. It isn't a great line (and there turned out to only be 1 test so I couldn't do another). And also I really have no symptoms, at a push I would say my boobs are a little tender, so after last time, I'm not going to become excited quite yet. So, very pleased but going to go for a bit of a head in the sand approach.

ZylaB · 14/05/2014 19:12

Congrats wil!!!

Great start to the new thread :)

Minion · 14/05/2014 19:15

Woohoo wil, I'm finger crossing the line gets darker!
We're on a roll people!

MrsBeeBeeBee · 14/05/2014 19:33

Congrats Wil . I had no symptoms for ages with DD.

Purplecircle · 14/05/2014 19:39

Hurray Ness and Cookie, how lovely
Wil I'm keeping everything crossed for you

I'm driving myself slowly mad with symptoms. Thought I had sore boobs last night, now not so sure. Didn't notice much nausea today. Feel a bit odd but can't put my finger on it

I bought pg tests today when I was in supermarket
Now on CD18 and DH no interest in DTD last night or not before so NFI if we did enough or stopped too soon.
AF due 23/5, going to test 22/5 as drinking with sister that evening. Bought CB x2 tests which was accurate 98% day before

DulcetMoans · 14/05/2014 19:47

Oooohhhh... a tentative congrats for you then wil. Another in the morning?

Now you have the tests, you need to find the resistance to using them purple!

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 14/05/2014 20:02

Wil - you're about four days late now, aren't you? Whoop! A line is a line is a line :)

Am so pleased for you. Good start, too. :)

Will test at the weekend if still no AF

BeforeIChangeMyMind · 14/05/2014 20:04

I meant I will test at the weekend - that last sentence wasn't directed at you, Wil.

I may have had wine
