Couldn't stand a Fred with only a couple of posts left so I filled it up!

Here is the 13th installation of the Just Shagging saga. If you're a bit lazy relaxed in your approach to getting upduffed, come over here for a natter!

Fred rules;

  1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
  2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
  3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
  4. Thou shalt share Brew and Wine with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce Envy in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband Shock Wink

Happy shagging shaggers Grin

Fx for 34Pink
Hello to silv

Having a pants day - still only CD19, but have been farting like a trooper for three days, bad heartburn and burps, and had weird crampy/spiky pains the last 24 hours or so. Trying desperately not to read too much into it, but obviously not succeeding much, and MrHumpty has been told today that he might get made redundant. I want to go back to bed.

Bearface · 23/01/2013 18:50

Humpty - sorry for your bad day. What a lot to handle! Sad Take care of yourself this pm and have a little of what you fancy to cheer you up a bit.

CrackerJackShack · 23/01/2013 18:59

Hey everyone, incase you don't read the feb bus, despite getting what I thought was a 5 day period on the 13th of jan I got a BFP today. So if you think you're period seems light don't assume it's a period

HumptyDumptyBumpty · 23/01/2013 19:04

bearface thank you, I shall do just that.

Grin for cracker wonderful news! Congratulations! Bet you're thrilled!

Rockchick1984 · 23/01/2013 23:35

Oh Cookie I'm sorry about ERTD Sad have some Wine and soft cheeses and all the things you won't be able to have when it's your month! How long was your cycle this month? I suppose it could have been delayed by the stress of the car accident?

Fx 34 when are you going to test?

Let us know how the scan goes Hooya how many weeks are you now?

Hooya · 24/01/2013 04:03

Hello all!

Congrats Cracker

Good luck 34

Sorry Cookie fx for the next one, get that shag cape ready!

And sorry Humpty for your rubbish day, lots of treats in order!

Here there is defo a baby, with a heartbeat and everything Grin was amazing to see it then terrifying when we realised we may have created an ACTUAL PERSON in there and OMG WE'LL HAVE TO LOOK AFTER IT etc etc

Still going to hang around a bit but I might say a proper hello on the grads thread...

Hooya · 24/01/2013 04:10

Rock I am 6 and a half weeks. Still a way to go before all the mc worries are gone, but getting a heartbeat was a big terrifying boost Grin

34PinkLadyApple · 24/01/2013 08:15

SilverClementine · 24/01/2013 08:22

MotherOfCleo · 24/01/2013 08:44

Big Fat whoop whoop whoop for pink lady and cracker!

And how lovely but I agree terrifying Hooya!

frogchops · 24/01/2013 08:46

Congrats 34!! GrinGrinGrin
Hooya, I'm 5 1/2 weeks and wondering about an early scan, did you do it privately? I'm worried it won't show anything or I won't hear anything. Confused

Hooya · 24/01/2013 08:56

34 whoopeee yay for loads of newbies like me on the grads thread!

Frog I don't live in the UK and have private cover which appears to be scan-tastic (arf). If I were in the UK and not covered I would probably get a private scan, but not until after 6 or 7 weeks when you should see a heartbeat. Before that it's just a sac and no clue what's in there - and seeing a hb even this early means much reduced risk of mc. Hope that helps!

frogchops · 24/01/2013 09:25

Thanks hooya, I would wait til 7 weeks ish anyway. I spend most days worrying which I know isn't helping!

Pentagon · 24/01/2013 09:38

Hi ladies, may I join you? I have been following the thread for a while and have to say you are all lovely! My story: just turned 35, TTC for #2, had a MMC in September, ERPC and have been trying again since early November - so 3 months now and ERTD got me last night. I am sooooo disappointed, I was actually quite hopeful these past couple of weeks, thought I had several pregnancy symptoms but obviously I was wrong (unless that was a chemical pregnancy). So Cookie, I totally sympathise! I have been pregnant 3 times (MMC, DD who is nearly 2yrs old, MMC i.e. the one mentioned above) and all these 3 times it happened pretty much straight away. So getting quite worried now that it is taking so long?.well, I know 3 months isn?t that long but given how quickly it?s happened before, I can?t help wondering what?s going on! Btw, I'm also surrounded by bumps and new babies and it's like a knife through my heart every single time!

Pentagon · 24/01/2013 09:41

Oh and congratz Hooya and 34 on your good news!

wavesandsmiles · 24/01/2013 09:55

Just delurking to say HUGE congrats to 34 and cracker. This fred is doing pretty well in terms of the BFPs Grin

I'm 13 + 3 now, but still feeling bleurgh. being ridiculously busy with work isn't helping SadGood news on your scan hooya and hope to see more of you on the grads fred Grin

Hi to pentagon - this is a really lovely fred, so hope you get lots of support and the babydust that seems to be in the air gives you a BFP soon.

Right, I am off for a mid-morning vomit before tackling the review of a really long agreement. Rock on July and a temporary escape from the office!

Pentagon · 24/01/2013 10:17

Thank you for the warm welcome waves and congratulations on passing the 12-week milestone! Now you can truly enjoy your pregnancy - especially once the sickness abates! (if I remember well, it was 16 weeks for me when pregnant with DD....ah, I hope I get to experience this again - I loved every minute after the 12-week scan!)

GaryBuseysTeeth · 24/01/2013 10:55

Congratulations cracker....and massive congrats to a fellow long-termer 34!

Hooya, so glad this is your time....and waves, can't believe how pg you are now!
11+5wks here & my hands/feet are as swollen as they were at 38wks with DS! No rings or tight shoes for me.

humpty, sorry for your crap day & worries. I hope Mr.Humpty doesn't lose his job & the stress is over soon. x

Welcome pentagon, this is a lovely place to rant & nothing is tmi!

Pentagon · 24/01/2013 11:33

thanks Gary and congratulations on your pregnancy! Congratz to cracker too - sorry, forgot to say so earlier! (so much to catch up with!)

34PinkLadyApple · 24/01/2013 13:36

So someone slap me... I'm 3 days late, i did 2 internet cheapy tests with first wee this morning. Both were immeadiate dark BFP's. ....so why am I doubting them!!?? I haven't told H2B yet as he'd alredy gone to work. Should I do another one tonight before telling him, just to make sure? Should i buy a shop one?

34PinkLadyApple · 24/01/2013 13:37

Thanks all by the way! Blush

GaryBuseysTeeth · 24/01/2013 13:43

for 34....welcome to the nine months of doubt & wtf is my body doing Grin
If you really want to be sure, buy a clearblue digital...it'll say pregnant/not pregnant and the number of weeks!

frogchops · 24/01/2013 13:49

34, that's what I did....after a string of bfn's... I did a cheapie and the usual evap line came up much quicker than normal so I thought it could be faint bfp....then I cracked out the FRER (saved for best!!) and got an instant bfp. I'd say buy a shop one but sounds pretty good to me! If it helps, I'm still doubting it and my dr has even confirmed mine! Hmm

34PinkLadyApple · 24/01/2013 15:25

Thanks frog and gary. I have to go to tesco on the way home so I will grad one from there. I'll do it when I get in and show H2B 'proper' BFP.
