Couldn't stand a Fred with only a couple of posts left so I filled it up!

Here is the 13th installation of the Just Shagging saga. If you're a bit lazy relaxed in your approach to getting upduffed, come over here for a natter!

Fred rules;

1. Thou shalt shag as much as humanly possible in order to get upduffed.
2. Thou shalt not partake of OPKs, temping, or charting.
3. Thou shalt keep symptom spotting to a minimum.
4. Thou shalt share and with your fredmates where needed.

JSing lingo;

ERTD = Evil Red Tide of Dooooooommmmmmm. Or AF to most others.

Pant snot = Egg white cervical mucus.

Doing a kitten = Getting upduffed soon after joining (warning: may induce in other posters).

Viroid = This is you, dear poster. This is from the first JS thread when someone tried to type 'ladies' and it autocorrected to 'Viroids' - so there you go!

POAS = Pee On A Stick (of the pregnancy detecting kind, not from a tree). Also known as PIAR (Pee In A Ramekin - cos we're posh birds innit). Or PIATLH (Tea light holder) PIAWG (Wine glass) or anything else you care to pee in!

Shagging like something = JSing like a teenage nymphomaniac.

Giving a hooya = Giving a much needed slap to a fellow poster in danger of slipping into ttc obsession.

Contraband = Of COURSE none of us EVER partake of any silly opk's or temp charting. They are Contraband

We have our cape on in the Cortana house, not even the baby making cape, just a "YAY-SEX" cape. It fits nicely.

TMI WARNING!!! but I had a weird bleed today CD15. I have no idea how or why it happened, no stain or anything, just blood (no clots) in the bowl when I looked down. Too early for implantation, no pain, no cramps. I checked the, erm, origins by wiping, deffo not from my urine or from my bowel.

You'd think I know what my body was upto by now. Going to have to book a smear to check it's nothing sinister. Other than that I am being rather good, no charting, no checking CM or anything.

I caved (my work colleague brought the test in) and it was another BFN, but still no Af, i've gotta try and be good again and wait a longer amount of days before i test again. I'm so sad that it keeps coming up negative but still not having ERTD must be a positive sign right?

So, I have a new symptom to spot question:

Anyone else hyper aware of pregnants around you? I keep seeing them (and I swear there are also more around than usual...) and honestly think I can spot a bump at a mile - this morning I yelled all the way down the tube carriage to a pg lady the other end to ask if she wanted my seat. She had the 'Baby on Board' badge on, and I swear they are somehow attuned to my eyesight (short sighted but don't wear/need to wear glasses for normal getting around).
Is it just me? IS IT A SIGN? Someone hooya me.

Humpty it's a definite sign of broodiness!! I've been exactly the same since we started TTC, I presume there was still the same number of pregnant women around and newborns before we started, but my baby-radar was turned off - since we started TTC virtually everyone I know has announced they are pregnant, there's scan photos and bumps all over facebook, and I'm bored of waiting for it to be my turn :)

Cookie maybe try and get a dr's appointment? They can do a blood test and get a more definitive answer, and check there's not another reason why you are so late, rather than spending a fortune worrying about negative tests?

Oh, sorry that the test escaped with your friend Cookie. Hopefully you'll know soon one way or the other, but for now it looks good doesn't it? No news is good news, eh?

BTW I had weird bleeding last month too and thought it was an anovulatory bleed, but my blood tests said I ovulated, so it couldn't have been that. I thought at the time that it might be an implantation bleed, but got ERTD, so it wasn't that either. I think maybe it was an ovulatory bleed. I'm not going to get a smear done (only had one within the last year), but I am going to keep an eye on things instead.

rock and humpty glad it's not just me! It's preggo bump central everywhere I go and I find myself staring at their bump, not in a bad way, just admiring it really and wondering when I will have one. Plus my friends kids seem to sense I'm broody and are all over me. I have the cutest second cousin ever he's 4 months old and is an angel for me. I really want it to be my turn soon.

To add insult to nondiffed status I work for an advertising agency and one of my new clients is a company specialising in pregnancy scanning so I am proof checking a website full of pictures and information about pregnancy.....rather painful!

motherofCleo phew another person to make me feel sane! I know what you mean, I stare (subtly, I hope) at bumps and try to imagine one on me.

Sorry to hear you have to look at pg pics all day, but at least maybe you'll know exactly what it looks like when it is your turn. x

Yes i think i am going to have to book a doctors appointment, i am scared that he will say i am not pregnant i've done enough tests to confirm that one. Will try and book one in for the end of this week, or maybe next week.

Welcome Silver I've been trying about 5 months now, are you just shagging or are you cheating using anything like temping etc?

Cookie i think you are doing the right thing, and sod's law is that you will see the dr then go home and finally get your BFP

Humpty and Cleo - well, I've been pondering your convo and I think for me the reason I am so desperate for it to be me is that for me it would be DC1 and I really want 3 DCs, but if this BFP doesn't show up soon I may struggle to fit them all in IYSWIM. Of course, I would be happy and feel lucky just to have one, but I'd really like 3, and I am now 34, so I think it makes me a bit more desperate than average to get going perhaps?

It's funny how the antennae suddenly flip on and you seem to hone in on bumps and babies everywhere. If only we had BFP antennae too!

I never thought it would be this hard either. Honestly, all my friends said they got pregnant within two months of trying. One friend got pg first time with both her DCs. I always thought I'd find it really easy because my mum did. Not so. Sigh.

I need some help with all this ovulation business...TMI ALERT...My cycles vary between 26-31 days which is fine and within normal range. I get really bad ov pain and that plus the EWCM helps me to pin point roughly when I ovulate (or maybe not, seeing as I am not up duffed!), which is around CD14. However, according to my calculations this month I think I ov'd CD6 but yet am now CD11 and still have EWCM. I've never had such a short cycle before, has anyone else ever experienced this? I was convinced I was pg last month as my boobs were rock hard for two weeks which isn't normal for me, but then my af came :(

I think I just need a slap.

I will offer you a nice hand squeeze rather than a slap Cookie - after all you could be upduffed and I don't want to hit a potentially pregnant lady.

Re cycles, I was fooled by my CM a couple of times, never seemed to be able to distinguish it from other stuff so I gave up. If you shag from right after ERTD finishes until day 20 or so, that's pretty safe, unless you have a super-long cycle, was my thinking. But easy for me to say as I was well up for loads of shagging after stopping the pill!

Cookie rooting for you, I got a neg on my due date then faint pos 2 days later, so it can happen! Fx for you and all the other lovely shaggers!

I am still hanging around like a bad smell until after scan tomorrow at least.

I have to say though I know this is annoying that having been all excited about being pg, it's actually kind of gross. I feel either barf-tastic sick or ravenous, and this morning I started retching. Actually retching, it's totally rank. Basically what I'm saying is enjoy being normal while you can!

Well i'm not up-duffed ERTD started today and it sneaked up on me i woke up went to the toilet and found lots of blood, so not only do i have horrible period pains but i also have the sadness and having to do a clothes wash!!

Ah well you win some and you loose some.

Also do i now count this as an extra long cycle length or do i just go back to my orignal help?

Hi Ladies! I'm a day late... I think. Been having 26/27 day cycles and today is day 28 and no sign of ERTD!!!

My friend at work came in waving her 12 week scan around this morning, another front is being induced today and there's a collection going round for another collegue who's off on maternity leave next week. Could this be my lucky month where I get to join in with everyone else rather than sit here in a jealous grump?!!
