Just Shagging Part 10; No science or skill, JS at will!

AWomanCalledHorse · 27/06/2012 14:03

Welcome to the lazy way to make a baby, part 10!!

Just Shagging (JS) is ttc using ye olde shagging & crossing fingers methods, our tools are your body, OH?s body..urm some wine & lots of finger crossing.

All are welcome, most leave happy & upduffed! The last two threads have been very successful; thread 8 had 5 BFP?s, thread 9 had 6 BFP?s....so we?re due 7 BFP?s here, which means we all need to get shagging.

We don?t ?do?; OPKS, taking temp or harcore charting...although it is nice to know when ERTD is due.
Which brings us to acronyms & slang;
AF=ERTD (Evil Red Tide Of Doom).
EWCM=Pant Snot
Getting a BFP soon after joining thread= Doing a kitten
You=Are a viroid, no idea why but it goes long back to the dawn of time.
DTD=JS or donning the Shag cape.
POAS=Sometimes referred to as PIAR (Pissing In A Ramekin), as we?re such classy ladies

Here is last thread for proof that it works, and that you can't shut us up Grin

Here is the Graduates thread!

swimming You could tell bf when you eventually come clean that you didn't want to steal her thunder earlier?? Surely she'd understand that you were worried about sharing early in though, especially when you've got another friend struggling through a bad situation?

Kittenkatzen · 28/08/2012 15:03

hooya I too think you should piar immediately and report back to us! How many dpo are you?

swimming I think it would depend on the friend really - do you think she'd be upset by that then? Would you be upset if it was the other way round? Either way, if you don't want to tell her early then you shouldn't feel bad about it - just explain when you do tell her that you were nervous and didn't want to jinx it....

NickiNockiNoodle · 28/08/2012 18:01

Hi all...another busy day at work over with, thank god!

I'm going back after 3 months too, Hooya. H2B will be far better at entertaining the little one than me. He likes kids' TV too, which is one up on me!

Welcome Suffolk (ooh cake! You're more than welcome here!) & alice!

Hi suffolk, hi alice. Nice to have you

swimmingnotdrowning · 29/08/2012 08:53

Paralympic opening ceremony today. It seems like a lot longer than a month ago that we were talking about the Olympic opening ceremony. TTC does make time do funny things.

Oh I am so gld to hear that others are not going to be the stay at home mums, I was starting to feel bad. DH is going to take some of my ML and do a compressed week at work. I don't have such a flexible employer.

Hi Suffolk and Alice the start of term is rubbish for JSing, you will be in the swing by Oct. Wink

Wow Suffolk CFS and a teacher? You must be permanently knackered!

Regards Paralympics: I think the Olympics should be one big event and the paralympic component be just another element if the sport,as they're all categorised into male/female elements. IYSWIM? And the South African man that runs on those carbon blades that was told he couldn't compete with able bodies athletes (despite making the qualifying time) as his blades were an unfair advantage has been very hard done by (those blades take more energy and muscle control to run with than using your own legs!) Anyway....there's enough politics on MumsNet and I've already had to ban myself to contributing to serious threads for the sake of my blood pressure so I'll shush now......lol

So, isn't it unfair of nature to make symptoms of ovulation and implantation practically te same?! I thought she was part of the sisterhood! Grin

FrustratedSycamorePants · 29/08/2012 12:52

Hi ladies,
I think I shall be using the JS method this cycle. Have have no OPKs left and no ICp-sticks left, and was feeling quite obsessive about it all. So am resolved to JS and not buy anything else until ERTD is late. yeah like that is really gonna work JS is the way to go. Grin

Lolcbcblemonlime · 29/08/2012 13:57

Hi ladies
Have been lurking reading posts around here ages and now that I found my friend frustrated I decided to post...
I just wonder how much shagging do you have to have to qualify for this thread Grin
And forgive my ignorance but is there a reason period is not called af on this thread? What does the other acronym stand for?
Well you all seem lovely so hopefully I won't get kicked out Blush

Hooya · 29/08/2012 14:05

Hello all! Hi to Alice and Suffolk and Frustrated yay more people! I have only been at this for a couple months but JSing would appear to be the way to go! Suffolk sorry about the MCs, hope things are easier this time. And I would love some cake Smile

I love that my name is shorthand for a good slap! I still need one too - I can't shake this stupid idea that ERTD was implantation...

Horse and Kitten there is probably no way I am breaking my PIAR rule so early! Even DP is in on it - I got home tonight and he said "oh go pee on a stick"! So I am having to use extra willpower! I keep thinking how amazing it will be if it was implantation and I don't test, since by the time I find out I would be already 6 weeks gone! Ah, wishful thinking...

Swimming I think bf would forget all about any miffed feelings in the excitement of you being duffed, hopefully! I think most people realise this is really personal stuff and you have to do what makes you the most happy and least stressed. That's what I'll be reminding DP if when I become an evil pregnant dictator Grin

I thought I was going to get a break from JSing last night, then DP said "come on then" (he clearly has a way with words)!

Hooya · 29/08/2012 14:11

Hello lol sorry cross post! Welcome and hope you stick around!

I think the moral is no ov thingies or CBFMs or technical stuff, rather than how much JSing you have to do! I like it here because when I joined MN I was instantly terrified by all the daily peeing on stuff that seemed to go on, whereas this thread was, erm, mostly about shagging Grin.

I don't know why it's ERTD here, a more longstanding member may be needed to explain that, but most of them have left happily upduffed!

I am quite new but already seem to have a rep for slapping the mentalling out of myself and others if necessary but am nice otherwise, I promise!

Kittenkatzen · 29/08/2012 15:47

:o

ERTD is the Evil Red Tide of DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMM!! No idea why it's not AF over here...."Aunt Flo" is a bit cutesy and vom inducing though so possibly it's that!

Hooya - pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick, pee on a stick!!! :o

oooh Hello Frustrated and Lol! I have been on the other posts with you but also thought this way of TTC sounded a bit more fun and stress free. I guess I'll try everything tho until im up duffed Grin.

I have been sooooo bloated for 2/3 weeks now. work trouserss are very uncomfortable and not forgiving. Keep telling myself its a hormonal thing from coming off pill 5 weeks ago preggers

toffeesam · 29/08/2012 17:08

Hello all Grin
That's what attracted me to this thread, the joy of JSing is infectious. it makes TTC enjoyable for both parties involved. My friend is a charter, and her DH has been known to declair i'm not a machine!

Oh Hooya Just pee for us Grin
