Just Shagging Part 10; No science or skill, JS at will!

AWomanCalledHorse · 27/06/2012 14:03

Welcome to the lazy way to make a baby, part 10!!

Just Shagging (JS) is ttc using ye olde shagging & crossing fingers methods, our tools are your body, OH?s body..urm some wine & lots of finger crossing.

All are welcome, most leave happy & upduffed! The last two threads have been very successful; thread 8 had 5 BFP?s, thread 9 had 6 BFP?s....so we?re due 7 BFP?s here, which means we all need to get shagging.

We don?t ?do?; OPKS, taking temp or harcore charting...although it is nice to know when ERTD is due.
Which brings us to acronyms & slang;
AF=ERTD (Evil Red Tide Of Doom).
EWCM=Pant Snot
Getting a BFP soon after joining thread= Doing a kitten
You=Are a viroid, no idea why but it goes long back to the dawn of time.
DTD=JS or donning the Shag cape.
POAS=Sometimes referred to as PIAR (Pissing In A Ramekin), as we?re such classy ladies

Here is last thread for proof that it works, and that you can't shut us up Grin

Here is the Graduates thread!

Congratsguinea...great news...
11bfps means that we are doing so well...:)

notsoold · 22/08/2012 00:27

Thanks hooya eating popcorn was my consolation that day! tea and a biscuit as we sit until our turn!
swimming we knew that rubbish times always comes and I just had a wobble.
Thanks everybody for your kind words and patience. I cried a awful lot with a big box of popcorn.
Until I saw knicker watching....very funny. :)
Another days ladies, another day.
As some of you sleep , jsi, pregnant or not yet, I hope that tomorrow will be a better day.

NicolaHazel · 22/08/2012 06:35

Congrats, guinea :-)

And bleeding after sex can be hormonal (what isn't?!), Hooya...maybe a coming off the pill reaction?

Hooya · 22/08/2012 12:48

Evening all!

Oh notso I love popcorn. I have to avoid making it at home as I inevitably eat the whole lot!

Nicola I think it must be just post-pill weirdness, that and the rough sex Wink

Nothing else new to report here, I do believe we've gone a whole day without a BFP, what's going on? Get shagging, ladies Grin

notsoold · 22/08/2012 12:58

popcorn with chilly sauce or jalapenos is my downfall hooray

I also think that we are one of the most sucessful threads I told you I am competitive.

I think we need a stentnoon (instead of a babynoon) in our house. I am freaked by the stents so completely celibate. DH is freaked out too...

Well back to work (spend my life here)...

Hooya · 22/08/2012 23:44

Morning all, quiet around here!

Feeling a bit calmer as DP and I hatched a plan last night re where we want to have baby, where to move to if we don't get pg etc... It's been a bit stressful, and though we haven't figured everything out, feeling a bit better!

Also very exciting the thought of having a baby here! We are a bit worried about what our parents will say (they have no clue we are trying) Shock

NicolaHazel · 23/08/2012 07:05

Glad you're feeling better about it all, Hooya. :-)

FWIW I used to bleed after sex while on the pill, which was a hormonal issue. And it was why I got put onto the injection all those years ago.

Hormones are, by and large, shit! :-/

notsoold · 23/08/2012 08:29

Hooya..
Excellent idea to plan ahead. Those sort of conversations always have helped us to feel more in control.
Parents surely will understand???

Nicola I agree with you re hormones... I had a mirena fitted for 9 years and although very helpful with the ERTD it messed with my skin. I am treating it with dermo rollers and hoping it works....

Morning girls...bfps today, ok????

swimmingnotdrowning · 23/08/2012 10:27

That is a lot of BFPs on this thread already! Although I'm really sorry that they haven't all worked out as the ladies would have wanted. I can think of at least one - thinking of you x

Glad you're feeling more positive hooya.

I've recently started to try calculating when next month's shag-fest is due rather than concentrating on when this month's ERTD is due which is helping. I'm also planning holidays that would only work if we are child-free so that there are positive things to look forward to. Between looking forward to the holidays and looking forward to the JSing, there's plenty to be happy about!

AndieMatrix · 23/08/2012 10:39

Hi Ladies,
Can I join? Just had my evil Nexplanon implant out so starting JSing as of now...I know it's not likely I'll get a BFP very soon with the way the bloody thing screwed my hormones up but it's bloody good fun!
Hope everyone's well today.

Kittenkatzen · 23/08/2012 10:44

I'm convinced swimming! In fact I've been doing the same thing - we're away for a fortnight the week after next, happily coinciding with OV, so my shag cape will be first into the suitcase :) and I'm not even thinking about next week's bfp ERTD at all honest.

Also I have standing/mosh pit tickets to a rock concert at the end of October, which will obviously be better enjoyed if not upduffed.

Unfortunately, that's where my positive planning ends as after that I have my heart set on breaking pg news to my family by putting scan pics in Christmas cards.........Blush

Kittenkatzen · 23/08/2012 10:45

Oh and welcome Andie, wishing you a speedy bfp! :)

Hooya · 23/08/2012 13:58

Evening all

swimming I'm doing that too - trying to focus on the shagfest not the other rubbish bit of this adventure! DP and I didn't do it yesterday so managed some cheeky fun before we left for work this morning - we seem to be going for every day at the moment, though surely that will get tiring!

Thanks all for the reassurance re random bleeding, I agree re hormones, hate them! My skin has got worse since going off the pill, and my boobs have shrunk at least one size Sad

Hello Andie it's all fun in here! I know we'll have our tough times but I like that this thread celebrates the fine art of shagging Grin

Loving the positivity here today - I am so determined to keep this feeling of shagging is fun and it will all work out in the end!

Pineapple80 · 23/08/2012 15:41

swimming & kitten - we will be on holidays during ov as well! I'm hoping the holiday mood will help us relax etc! It'll be our first go at all if this, so I'm a little excited and nervous Grin

Pineapple80 · 23/08/2012 15:42

Kitten - hey I'm not the only one with that Christmas card idea in my mind then! Blush

swimmingnotdrowning · 23/08/2012 17:33

Lots of babies on FB and pg chat at work today. Managed to remain calmly interested and hopefully not to let on how much knowledge I have on the topic....

I was on another fred where we were wondering if we could all get bfps in time to present scan pictures at Christmas dinner - the aim being a nationwide spat-out turkey epidemic. Sounds like fun I think.

AWomanCalledHorse · 23/08/2012 19:49

Welcome Andie! As you can see from 11bfp's in a thread this way works! Grin

kitten, I wanted to put a BFP in DH's birthday card (a week ago), may get my chance next year instead (utterly convinced I'll never get pg again).
Also panicking that I'm pg this month as the antibiotics I'm on cause birth defects in 1st trimester.
We went to Foo Fighters when I was 15ish weeks, had to leave early as the bass was making me sick...maybe we should all book long haul flights & mosh rock tickets?!

swimming, well done on the calmness....spat out turkey epidemic would be hilarious! We'd all have to post piccies Grin

Pineapple, hope the holiday helps!

What's everyone upto this weekend?

OP posts:
AndieMatrix · 23/08/2012 21:04

Thanks for the welcomes. 11 BFPs is a positive sign. However long it takes I think this is the route for me. I read a lot of the other threads and there was too much writing on calendars, peeing on things and monitoring temperatures for my liking!lol
Kitten Are you a Ritchie Katzen fan per chance?! :-)
I've got standing tickets for a metal gig in November so I like Horse's theory.lol
Also loving the idea of scan photos for Christmas. That'd be amazing.
My weekend will be spent moving house....Hopefully.

NicolaHazel · 23/08/2012 21:14

Awww...Kitten, a Muse gig while upduffed would be the best way to introduce baby to the best band in the world (m m m m m m m m m madness!). BTW, did you order the box set? I appear to have 2 on the way shortly.

I have Muse on Nov 1st and Elbow on Dec 1st, both standing, but I do really want to be preggers by then. I'll take the strain!

Hi to Andie :-)

Kittenkatzen · 23/08/2012 21:24

Yep nicola box set is indeed on order Grin why have you got 2 coming was that deliberate?! I love madness, very excited about the album! And of course you're right, I'm being silly, my baby will be a Muser from the instant of conception - he'll come out rocking GrinGrin

andie I don't know who Ritchie katzen is but will now go and google him to find out whether I'm missing a trick and should be a fan! My nn was is my affectionate name for my two cats!

swimming I remember that conversation, might even have been further up this thread?!

NicolaHazel · 23/08/2012 21:42

Well, Bri and I decided we should get 2. One to open and one to leave untouched! We'll probably get a standard copy for every day use too.

We have two of all the albums, strangely enough. Plus two limited edition Resistance box sets and some other limited edition vinyl (no record player). Bri has quite a few limited editions CDs too.

I've met them though, so I win, ha ha! :-)

If my child doesn't like Muse, I'll cry. And send it back (j/k).

AndieMatrix · 23/08/2012 21:45

kitten Ah,nice cat nn. Just thought it a huge coincidence as my mate is a big Katzen fan. He's an amazing guitarist.
Hi Nicola. :-)

Kittenkatzen · 23/08/2012 21:45

You met them?!?! EnvyEnvyEnvyEnvy

When/how/details please!!

NicolaHazel · 23/08/2012 21:49

Do you remember 4 years ago (Marlay / V year) when they ran an anagram competition to meet them?

I got the answer and emailed it and then passed it to others. My spawny git friend, Olly, somehow got his email in before mine, despite sending it after me, and won. But took me as I'd given him the answer.

So, after the Staffs V gig we met them for about 10 minutes. Quite cool. Did you get one of those awful lime green limited edition polo shirts? Mine's signed and hanging on our lounge wall.

So that's the geeky story!

Kittenkatzen · 23/08/2012 21:57

That's an excellent story, well done you! You're absolutely do beat me hands down - my only claim to Muse fame is that one of our friends knows Matthew's cousin and I met him (the cousin) at said friends wedding a few weeks back. Much less geeky and much less interesting!
