TTC first baby

Hello all! DH and I are TTC our first baby, I'm 31, he's 32. We've only been trying for a month so it is extremely early days but I'm so excited at the prospect.

DH may have some fertility issues (picked up on a scan) but I was pretty convinced it was going to be a BFP straight away as I had so many symptoms - but that shows how much I know!

Is anyone else TTC their first baby? Please join and keep me company!!

pinkie I'm not looking for symptoms as I don't know if I'd necessarily have any. Also could be too early if my cycle is messed up as no idea when or if I've ovulated. I spotted for over 30 days when I had a possible pregnancy/cp/god knows what in Jan/feb and my sister (who presumably has a similar uterus to me) said she did for the first two and a half months of her second successful pregnancy. All just guesswork though and yes, not over yet. It's a funny old game this.

I'm trying to hold off testing until Friday 11th as I'll be 6 days late based on 42 day cycle, we used conceive plus and instead cups this cycle so hoping it gave up a helping hand!

Had anyone else had this tmi warning! We were dtd last night and when dp had pulled out from behind the sperm came straight out which has never happened before? I somehow managed to catch it between my thighs hobbled to the bathroom when I wiped the sperm was mixed with a tonne of ewcm?? It was unbelievably stretchy? Think it was more stuck to my leg as opposed to caught! Odd as its normally impossible to find my ewcm, an hour before it was the usual creamy white discharge

I think it's hard to tell "what's what" after DTD as surely is dependent on arousal and his " deposits".

Now CD41 for me. Have 50 cheaply pg test dipsticks on their way from amazon. Fx!!

Still no AF and CD41. Thought I had got AF just now due to some odd sensations but seem to have "passed" something very peculiar. Maybe part of a mucus plug?!? Who knows, just wanted to try and gross you out back

Now questioning if I'm mature enough to become a parent =/

Maybe that's what I had?? Honestly I'd never seen anything like it it was like a big lump of raw egg with white bits mixed in? luckily for me I'm not squeamish at all hehe so feel free to carry on. Oh I really hope these are good signs for us

pinkie exactly the same here!! We are identical discharge twins. How exciting!! This silly little discussion has certainly alleviated a little TTCANKWTFGO (trying to conceive and not knowing wtf's going on) stress.
Hope we both get BFPs soon

Haha discharge twins love it!! How am I going to last another 9 days without testing!! Already desperate to know! Will be day 48 on may 11th! There's something going on down there but lord knows what, just little cramps and twinges but to the left or right not my usual middle af pain

Just spoke to dp I've caved and am going to test Sunday which is 14 dp end of 2ww

I was going to say can't believe you are going to hold on till 11th. What do I know but I would say it sounds very promising for you both.
I am testing on 16th (my birthday) - currently CD 16 and I think ovulating. Lots of DTD last few days. I am going nuts with anticipation already, how can I last another 2 weeks?!!
re the discharge I would not say that sounds bad at all, the more gunk the better, right?
But on the subject of gunk, another TMI warning!
When we DTD we always have to wipe up gunk at the end and some more falls out of me a few hours later (if doing it in the evening, the following morning). Is this normal? I always I thought it was but since pinkie's post I think maybe not so. If I'm perfectly honest I don't know if it's boy gunk or girl gunk, perhaps I shall have to inspect it more closely but I have always thought it was his. Can't help thinking that more of it should be "in there". Sorry to ask, would be too embarrassed to ask anyone I know!

I think it varies from person to person but most girls I know say it comes out more or less straight straight away I think I'm in a minority tbh as always clenched and got to the bathroom then bear down to squeeze it all out

I want to wait as long as possible (hence 11th day 48) as my cycles can be very long tho Sunday will be day 43, sods law ill come on right after testing!!

Sorry I haven't been around for a while, I've been snowed under with a big deadline at work.

Ha! I had a chuckle re the IDT (identical discharge twins). It sounds like a good sign to me... I'm a little bit excited for you both.

Christelle that sounds entirely normal to me! I try to hold it in as long as possible and then I nip to the loo, I don't have Pinkie's skills though (impressive!) must work harder in pilates! I wipe but then I normally have a bit more in the morning.

DTD as much as possible this month, it's lots of fun - only on day 14 of cycle though so a long way to go!

Uff was all crampy last night and just had a stabbing pain in the middle of my womb... feel as tho af is imminent

Well I now have abundant EWFM (egg white facial mucus). Have been feeling queezy and tired for a few days but could be cold related. Woke up at 3am desperate to pee and blow nose. CD42 - if no BFP by Monday I'm going to see my GP I think.

Lol @ the ewfm!! Mine has gone clear as water I'm usually relieved when af arrives as will be out of the am I aren't I phase! I'm going to try and wait until Friday 11th, if I get a bfn on Sunday I'll be a miserable bugger at home on my todd! At least if I wait till the friday I'll be at work and pre occupied

I've been very sniffly bunged up and sore throat for over a week now ever lost my voice for 4 days we must be pg haha!

pinkie is that a sign of AF for you

pinkle I would usually dose up on Lemsip but that's bad for TTC/pg so am going without. Hope you feel better soon

It my usual af sign is a dull nausea ache above the pubic bone almost like when you ahem have a dicky tummy, this was different but think am over analysing, my last cycle was 43 days, day 40 now :/ doc said some just have longer cycles than others not necessarily a problem just means in a year we have less chances to conceive, 1st day of my last af was March 25th!

Haven't really been around for the last week but have just caught up on the thread, had me laughing out loud! Although all the talk of ewcm has made me realise that I don't seem to get much/any at all. Maybe that's my problem and the reason we haven't conceived yet?! What do you think?

Oh well I have day 21 blood tests on Tuesday so I'm guessing that will tell me if I'm ovulating or not?! Cd17 now, dtd on 10,12,14,15 and 17 so I have my fingers crossed this month!!

I can rarely find mine, only reason I did last month was due to ov type twinges a week before I thought I'd have af? I checked and voila had a small bit that looked like undercooked egg white, then got my cb smiley on cd28! We used conceive plus and instead cup this cycle so hoping it helped, on cd 40 now will be 14dpi on Sunday but trying to hold out till Friday 11th to test as I have had very long cycles in the past so won't get too hopeful yet
