Had a search for a may BFP thread and couldn't see one (please correct me if there is!) so thought I'd start one..

Hi all. Bloody dh changed phone line half way through this thread. Only just back online again. Trying to catch up with all the news. Congrats to all who made it. My af came so I'm out for this month. I shall look out for a June thread!!

Cejay8 · 11/05/2012 19:42

Don't give up hope if you feel like AF is on her way. I was so sure she was imminent this month and had some cramping etc so was surprised to get a BFP - no symptoms until now (tingly boobs!) I checked in at the doctors today as off on holidays this weekend. Hope to see some more BFP soon xx

jaquelinehyde · 11/05/2012 20:04

Well what a difference a few hours can make...

The dull cramping has now become intense and rather painful and when I went to the loo earlier when I wiped there was browny, reddy streaking Sad

I think af will arrive over night and then I shall be officially out and on to the June thread Sad

RightUpMyRue · 11/05/2012 20:24

Hello my dears Smile

Would you all come and give me an opinion on this thread please?

Thank you girls Smile

icequeenkate · 11/05/2012 21:07

Don't you all go!! There are still some of us left desperately symptom spotting waiting. Please? Or I will have to come over to the June thread, but I'm not coz I'm testing next weekend? Which is still May. Confused Hmmm.

RightUpMyRue · 11/05/2012 21:28

It has started to feel a bit tumble weedy over here hasn't it icequeen? I'm not due to test until for another 2 weeks, right at the end of May. It'll definitely be just me, on my lonesome by then!

I'm keeping a foot in both camps at the mo coz I was drunk and lonely the other night and went looking for everyone Smile

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 11:13

AF due tomorrow and and BFN today

Going to find a sensitive early test so can move over to June thread

And go to doc to find out why i am so thirsty :(

Persuasion · 12/05/2012 11:26

I've not posted much but have been lurking. I got bfn today, had some weird light bleeding the last 3 days with no pjs symptoms, so I don't really know what my body is doing but guess that we AF.

Good luck to those still in the game, I'm on to June....

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 11:34

Sorry persuasion. See you in June Thread :(

3littlebirds · 12/05/2012 14:57

I'm new around here but just spotted this thread. I've got about 10 days till AF due so maybe we can keep each other company IceQueenKate and RightUpMyRue?! Only second month trying but this point nearly finished me last month. I hate secrets and it felt like my body was trying to keep one from me! Quite sad how addicted you become to this game, eh?!

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 15:01

Wait until you've been doing it for 8 months. Or a year or two

KickingUpQuestions · 12/05/2012 15:06

Stupid phone

I am so negative now. This will never happen. I was dead careful growing up. Didn't do contraceptives for long. Didn't sleep around. Why?!! Pointless

3littlebirds · 12/05/2012 15:09

I can only imagine. I guess we all need to stay positive, and keep fingers crossed. Hopefully it will happen, need to find some of the "patience" stuff people keep talking about. Keep your chin up KickingUpQuestions.

Christelle2207 · 12/05/2012 18:42

Hi girls. Well a lot may have moved to the June thread but I'm still here, hoping to test on Wednesday (if no AF) which will be CD29 and my 34th birthday. Will get an expensive early test just in case though I suspect as previous months I will get a negative and think it's possibly too early then be in limbo land until AF finally turns up.
I got cramps on CD 22 but since then have been feeling decidedly normal and lacking of any good or bad symptoms. Was at a wedding yesterday and deliberately didn't drink too much "just in case" and got all my friends suspicious. Good to take my mind off it though. I'll be batty by Wednesday. Just this last couple of hours though have some more cramps, though much higher up than normal - a bit above my belly button. Strange.
It's only 12th May so definitely space for a good few more may bfps!
Fingers crossed for monday wishful - sorry for the bad news jaqueline and suzy. Snowshine are you still hanging on?

AussieMummyTo1 · 12/05/2012 18:49

Hi All,

Ive been lurking too, im planning to POAS about the 20th if i can hold on till then, ill be about CD35 but my cycle is usually between 35-39 days. I really want to do one now but know its probably to early, but the waiting is killing me, i feel like the days are dragging on & on, on purpose !!

My DD is 13months & I dont remember having any early symptoms so trying not to symptom check as im sure its all in my mind when i think i "feel" something !! & dont want to get my hopes up as its also only our 2nd month trying but we were at it like maniac's so fingers crossed.

DP says he thinks im PG & i think yes, but dont want to get disappointed, so hears to waiting out with you all for that time to test & NOT having to move the June thread.

Sending positive vibes out to you all, so it looks like its you Christelle2207 next, not to many days more !! Fingers crossed for a positive result !!

Hope everyones having a good distracting weekend.

3littlebirds · 12/05/2012 19:15

Happy birthday when it comes Christelle, and fingers crossed for a BFP on Wednesday - what a great birthday present that would be!

The waiting bit is the killer, isn't it?! My DH is super obsessed with not doing testing till at least a few days after AF's due, thankfully AF turned up on time last month or I may have gone stir crazy. Will maybe try and sneak one in this month. Good luck to you AussieMummy, fingers crossed.

Christelle2207 · 12/05/2012 19:40

i think it's a good idea to wait until a few days late to test - a few girls on the threads have had bfps only to bleed a few days later - however easier said than done, right?!!

3littlebirds · 12/05/2012 20:36

Definately easier said than done, but that's a real shame, am sure they would be gutted :( Well, roll on next week for you and two weeks for me and fingers crossed!!!

lou143 · 13/05/2012 07:55

Hey i am still here just finding it hard to keep updating due to bt /sky swapping raaaaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrrrrrr blinkin internet :-(.
I am due saturday but thought i would test 6 days early with an early tet as low as 10 lol guess what???????? negative and made me feel negative even though early lol .
Anyway girls you cant join june it is bad luck s not over til fat lady sings!!!!! imagine a good egg fertilised for 5 mins a day says my book lol!
sending lots of love to all old and new comers and all the best for a May BFP. I am sorry so many have had AF's it really makes me sad. My sister has started trying too now but they dont realise we have been for a 11 months and think maay just keep it that way.
xxx

lou143 · 13/05/2012 08:04

kickingupthequestions- i need to give you a positive - i tried for my daughter for 3 years- i was referred to barts hospital to start he ivf thing- they scanned said i have a hostile environment??? when they scanned it was too early to see i was pregnant!!!! I found out 1 week later. I had 9 months of heavy bleeding and specialists scanning me for a small for dates baby that apparently every time i was scanned i was to prepare for worst. Abooked in c section 2 weeks early bought me my world a 5lb 4oz baby she has a reversed heart 1 of 2 in the country and perfect so the hostile environment happened to be quite a nice place for my DD who is 4 now. Am back on trying for past 11 months, 1 miscarriage in middle but it will happen!!!
It will happen hon stick with it and if you can take a month out where just having sex cos you fancy it when ever you fancy it, a holiday if you can and i think that may help get things straight. big hugs to you this is the hardest part but think it makes you a very patient mummy as you have learnt to be xx

RightUpMyRue · 13/05/2012 10:09

Morning all,

where are all the testers?! According to the stats we have lots of people due to test mid-month, where have you all got to? We need some PGs on this thread, quick!

I'm 4DPO and have had awful indigestion for a couple of days and v.sensitive nips. Really trying to remain level headed about it and not listen to every twinge but it's very difficult when you're obviously PG, like I am. Grin

Christelle2207 · 13/05/2012 11:03

Good luck rue sounds promising. Well I was supposed to be testing on the 16th but sadly af turned up last night, super-early (10 days earlier than last month, wtf??). At least the anticipation has come to an abrupt end unlike previous months which kept me guessing for about a week. What worries me is that this month my lp has only been 9days so even if something happened it wouldn't have a chance.
Good news (ish) though is that dh has had his 2nd SA result -general count is good but motility issues are 92% (95 last month) which apparently is ok if the count is ok cos that's still several million good swimmers per shot. 98+ apparently is bad, and anything below 90 can be bad if the count is low, which it's not. Anyone else got similar results to these? At least the doc acknowledged that perhaps that was a factor in why things are taking their time, and we have been referred to the fertility clinic and we should get an appt within a month. That is at least positive steps and hopefully I can relax a bit now in the knowledge that a proper expert can hopefully get us some answers. Doc said that lots of couples conceive while undergoing investigation because they stop stressing so much- hoping I fit into that category as unlikely as it may seem ...
Best of luck to those that remain and hope I don't see you on the June thread iyswim!

squeakymac · 13/05/2012 12:14

I'm still hanging on there in may too girls! Although only dtd on CDs 10-12 and 18, 19 as i was away on a course in between so not much hope this month! Will be testing around the 24th hopefully... Stay positive everybody!

RightUpMyRue · 13/05/2012 13:03

Good news on the appt Christelle, it's step forward isn't it? One, perhaps, you never thought you'd have to take and one which will take some processing but it is definitely a good thing. Smile
