Hi guys,

I'm going to stick my neck out and say that I am going to conceive in my first cycle of officially TTC (11 unofficial years under my belt so I think I deserve a break [bugrin]). PMA versus PMS - that's a fight worth watching! Still not 100% sure of my ov expected date, so I'm going to err on the side of caution and pencil in my first POAS experience for 19th May.

Hi all! I got a very faint bfp today! I'm hoping that it will stick and all will be well but I am aware it is very early days. Fingers crossed for everyone! Please leave me on the list for now if that's ok, just in case! [buwink]

hai my cycles are usually 33 days although this last one was 38 days

How long have u been ttc?

This is cycle 2 of ttc for me.

On and off from october. Didn't really try hard enough in december/january due to various tummy bugs and colds etc. So far I have only relied on the regularity of my cycle but I think I need to up my game and monitor ovulation closely.

I'm joining you on the May thread but might test the last week of this month depending on how I feel. Last AF at end March was short and light My cycle is not regulated since mirena out 10 weeks ago- varies from 25-33 days so far. This is our 3rd month trying for #1.

I haven't worked out if I can cut and paste yet so please add me xx

I've had 3 days of -maybe- withdrawal bleed from my mirena but nothing so far today. I have no idea what's happening to me!

Just checking in again to see how everyone's doing - sorry to see some of my April BFP buddies in here with me but sure this is going to be our month! And congrats and fx to you morecoffee and cookies [bugrin]

My AF was a monster this time round, 10 flippin days late, thanks very much PCOS!! For first time ever I'm making some effort towards charting this month, keep taking my temp at diff times of the day cos i can't seem to remember to do it before i get out of bed so don't think this month will be too accurate lol

Anyway, if my cycle decides to be regular this month I'll be OV next weekend so this week I'm going to be taking my EFA and Folic Acid. Going out for drinks tonight with friends because (fx!) maybe I won't be able to do that again for a long time after next weekend. Anyway better go cos DS is trashing living room as i type lol

Hi ladies how are we all ?

Its cd3 here and feeling a bit crappy, its been 7 years since ive had a "normal" af and its soo annoying heavy flow anx cramps not good [busad]

Was glad my cycle retuned to normal in my first month off the pill tho, was slightly worried it would take a few months for ovulation to return but looks like it came back straight away and on time aswell.
After 2 years on depo and 3 with the implant then 2 on the pill thought it would take longer for my fertilty to come back.

Will start swi on cd 6 if af has buggered off by then hopefully.

Feelin your pain, hai, AF was particularly horrible for me this month. Im on cd5 and my temp seems to hav randomly gone up today so my chart is already lookin a bit schizo!

Was out late having a few last night and i've been enjoying some nice cheeses today because if I OV next weekend and the whole ttc thing goes according to plan this month then there'll be no more vino&blue cheese for me - mht as well be an optimist

hi all strange thing happened today, have gone from a heavy flow to nothing over night [buconfused]

Not complaining ofcourse, means bath and pamper sesh tonight then getting down to the swi [bugrin]

Poor you - AF is such a witch!! I was a bit the same, a couple of days of heavy flow and horrible cramps and then overnight she just left town completely.

I'm going to take it as a good sign, bit of internal spring cleaning maybe? I started SWI on Saturday night lol Prob a bit early on in this cycle really but hey, why not lol... Maybe we'll get April BFPs after all, hai? [bugrin]

yeah cud still well be an april bfp if i test early and use a 10mi sensitivty.

It is very early to be swi, i am not due to ovulate till the 21st, cd16, fertile period starts on the 16th cd11.

But it cant do any harm to just have some fun swi before hand [bugrin]

It is cd1 for me after AF arrived in the night.

It is the first AF after a miscarriage back in early March. So hope to test around 8th May, ovulation permitting!

openmindedsceptic - I used opks for DC1 and DC2 after trying (and failing) to hit the right time with body signals. Got preg straight away using the opks so I am a fan.

This will be TTC DC3, cycle #2.

Feeling a bit mixed up & don't know what I want. DD is 12 months & I have had the implanon out due to side effects rather than wanting to TTC. My work situation has now changed so that a second (much wanted) baby soonish would stop us being split up geographically for a year. So DH thinks we should just go for it.

I an TERRIFIED though, my first (unplanned) pregnancy ended in an ectopic & loss of my tube. I'm scared of another & therefore probable infertility. DD was conceived first month of 'trying', I though this meant random sex without contraception but it would appear not looking at this board.

Not had a period yet so I have no idea when to test but have picked May 1st as this is the May thread :) (assuming I don't get a period in the meantime.)

Sorry to be all ME, ME, ME. Looking forward to hearing more about you ladies.

I'd love a May BFP! Please could someone add me as I only post via my phone. Testing May 7th as AF has just arrived bang on schedule .

Stupid question, if AF arrives does that mean I am ovulating? I have had regular 27-28 day cycles since coming off the pill late last year. Been properly TTC our second child since the new year.

Cejay8 I'd love to know about the AF question too, as I'm not totally convinced I did OV last month, temps all over the place despite +OPK but I did get AF yesterday.. hmm!! I'm very new to all this and finding it all rather confusing!
