Had a search for a may BFP thread and couldn't see one (please correct me if there is!) so thought I'd start one..

I was in the first few weeks Suzy, I tested and the bleeding started about 4 days later, it was all very, very new.

Finally another lucky 1, yey!

I was a bleeder in both my pregnancies. Last 1 failed, not because of bleeding tho.About the time it failed is wen my bleeding stopped. 1st pregnancy I bled 4 a couple of months on n off, I now have lovely dd. So don't panic.

Scuba. Bloody good luck 2 ya. I think af'l get me b4 Saturday. Will check on u 1st thing.

Oooooh- scuba- good luck for tomorrow!! I have to go to work at 7.15 so please post an update by then! I'm not joking!!

My 'period diary' app what a loser tells me AF is due Saturday. I fully expect she'll be along - but have grand plans of buying test on Monday if she hasn't shown up. Absolutely no point in me getting one on pretence that I'll 'save it' until Monday as would just pee on it straight away!!

So- scuba tomorrow- who else is left to test?

Am sooo excited/scared/nervous about tomorrow!!! such a newbie Will try to post before 7.15 wishful. It's only 1 day before my period is due, so actually 98% don't know what I was talking about before got confused

My sore boobs have now completely gone thou...anyone else been preg and had this? I mean, they can't stay sore throughout entire pregnancy can they?!

Good luck Suzy and scuba.
I am currently nearly a week since ovulation -today I feel a bit zonked, had fairly bad wind, slightly sick, bloated and have a strange feeling/slight cramp in my tum. Having said that it could be a result of eating too much chocolate cake. . Know i have to sit it out for a while yet but do you think I have the tiniest reason to be optimistic? My birthday is next wednesday, how great would it be to get a BFP then!!!
My dh just doesn't get this symptom spotting thing, so pleased I have others to ride on the bus with me:->

@scuba .. I did not get sore/tingly/heavy or anything boobs in any pregnancy. but then I don't really have much in that department so not really surprising!

I can't wait to check in the morning. FX it's a BFP!!

I had zero symptoms (that I remember, it was 10 years ago!) until about 6-7 weeks when all of a sudden horrendous morning sickness descended but until then there was nothing to suggest anything was any different.

From what I've read(and I've obsessively read loads over the past 18 months! Should have spent all that time reading SWI instead Grin) you've pretty much got 24 hours once the egg has been released. It's possible for it to survive for up to 48 hours but generally 24 is the max. Sperm usually survive, in the fallopians tubes, for about 48-72 hours. However, the conditions have to be just right for them to get up to the fallopians and if it isn't just right the vast majority of them will die within a couple of hours of entering the vagina. Again, it's possible for them to survive up to 5 days once they've made it to fallopians but this isn't common.

So, DP's flight home gets in around 10pm tomorrow night. I need this egg to stay safe and well in it's follicle for another at least another 12 hours.

I've probably OVed throughout the day today though and will see the temp rise tomorrow morning so it'll be too late by the time DP gets home. We'll still try though!!

Been keeping myself v busy in work, looking after DS and meeting up with friends but hard to get past the fact that today I'm on CD36 and STILL no AF. Longest cycle in last 14 months or so (since I stopped bf DS) has been 38 days, but usually I'm around the 28 - 30 day mark. The fact that it's so late is continuing to give me stupid hope despite of the BFNs... Argh, fed up!!

Christelle - Don't know, don't want to waste any more money on hpts! And if i buy the cheap ones i know i won't trust whatever they say so.... Got a GP appt booked in for next week anyway in case it's a missed miscarriage or something, and in the meantime will just remain on AF watch. But if no AF by Saturday...guess I prob will cave and test again...

I'm just starting a completely unrealistic 2ww and am trying not to obsess but its do hard! It's my first one, as before my mc I didn't realise was pregnant so don't know how going to get through it. Any tips? Also, how careful are people during the 2ww re. nice things like, Brie, shellfish etc...,
