Had a search for a may BFP thread and couldn't see one (please correct me if there is!) so thought I'd start one..

Anyone with me?

Rue- don't think there will be any quick fix ways of putting ovulation back. I've read about some people taking certain vitamins to make cycles shorter, but am certain they wouldn't help you this month.

Perhaps do a head stand until he comes back- see if gravity will keep egg in place for a day or so? Xxxx

RightUpMyRue · 08/05/2012 20:39

Grin a headstand and clench? Might work....

If I were thinking sensibly I would say hold off TTC until after your honeymoon and enjoy an amazing once in a lifetime holiday while you can. You won't go if you're PG and that sort of holiday isn't suitable for babies or young children so if you don't do it now while you can you won't be doing it for years and often years. However, the desire for a baby can be SO strong that sensible thought goes out the window.

Hi ladies, Took DS for a day out Monday (AF was due and is normally punctual!) saw very slight blood and then felt down and rubbish all day.... AF didn't amount to anything so poas Tuesday morning - Internet cheapie and it was negative Sad then took another look about ten minutes later and there was the faintest of faintest and I mean barely visible line. Repeated this with another internet cheapie and it was completely negative! So went off to work....

DH bought a clear blue in his lunch and guess what????? Just tested and BFP!!!GrinGrinGrin

Been trying since the new year so we're very pleased. This month we tried from day 6 and last DTD day 14 - the only difference from prior months was starting earlier, obviously not sure it helped but wanted to let you know. Also started back at pilates. Anyway, good luck to those still to test xx

winkle2 · 08/05/2012 20:48

Congrats ceejay!!

wishfulthinking1 · 08/05/2012 21:07

Fab news ceejay! X

CraftyGirly · 08/05/2012 21:18

congrats to Suzy and Ceejay! :)

DogEared · 08/05/2012 21:21

Brilliant news Ceejay! Wooohooooo! :o

wishful I would probably book something in between Ireland in a tent and trekking in 'Nam... Yosemite? (Don't know how I came to that!) I agree with rue that this will probably be the last chance you'll get for a proper long-haul adventure holiday... We went to NZ and the memory of it has stayed with us through wet Welsh summers and holidays in damp caravans :o

Feel a bit pre-AF, so am not hopeful... But my sense of smell is definitely up to something. I cannot stand the smell of the dog- It's never nice but it's actually making me feel sick. However, this never happened with other pgs and I think I've convinced myself of it more than it's an actual reality IYKWIM.

RightUpMyRue · 08/05/2012 21:21

Congrats Ceejay Smile

winkle2 · 08/05/2012 21:38

Dogeared - sounds promising!!

everythinghappensforareason · 08/05/2012 22:56

Congratulations ceejay

rightup - couldn't agree more with your comment = Sensible going out the window, when wanting a baby! So true..

Who is testing next ladies? hoping too see more BFP's soon :o

scubastevie · 09/05/2012 08:15

Morning Ladies...I've decided to test tomo morning. Driving myself crazy and my clear blue says 97% effective 2 days before AF due. My boobs now suddenly not sore again, what on earths going on? :( I was soo sure I had good symptoms :( now convinced going to be BFN.

Wish me luck!! Will update in the morning...

DogEared · 09/05/2012 09:08

Oooooh yay a tester tomorrow morning! Good luck scuba!
I am feeling more and more as if I'm about to start AF, keep going to the toilet to check my pants! I'm not even due on 'til tomorrow, I think I'll go mad if I'm even one day late. I'm going out today to a place where in theory, I could pick up a pg test... But I won't. I'll buy one on Saturday and POAS on Sunday if AF isn't here, but I'm pretty sure she will be.

Have to say, this thread is a real comfort to me- I wish I would've known about such threads when I was ttc DC2! I thought at the time that it was just me going mad with symptom spotting and hoping, but it turns out that there are loads of other nutters keen women out there! :o

jaquelinehyde · 09/05/2012 10:12

Morning ladies and congratulations ceejay! Grin

For the past few days I have felt nothing, no symptoms of being pg or af arriving.

However, I have woken up this morning and I have a low heavy ache in my uterus area and back ache so it looks like something is coming, either a bfp or the arrival of af in the next 48hrs.

I don't have any discharge or feel sick and my boobs are fine, so I am pretty damn sure this is af.

I'm cd23 and 9dpo, I'm due to test on Monday but I'm not sure if I will last that long if af doesn't show up.

Good luck for tomorrow Scuba Grin

tedmundo · 09/05/2012 10:29

Just popping back lover from June thread to say ... Congrats to ceejay. Wonderful news.

Good luck to everyone else testing soon. FX for some thick pink lines xxxxxx

tedmundo · 09/05/2012 10:30

Over NOT lover!!!

Although I do live in Brizzle, which is great my Luvver!!!

LittleMissSnowShine · 09/05/2012 10:48

@wishful- I live in Ireland! If you're going honeymoon camping...
www.tepeevalleycampsite.co.uk/
www.yurt-holidays-ireland.com/
www.glampingireland.ie/

If you are pg go for the first one since it's in the north so if for whatever reason you do need to see a dr all the hospitals are NHS and it'll be a weight off your mind :)

Ladies I'm on CD36 and no flippin AF! Seeing GP next week though and i'm sure it will have arrived by then. I don't think I'm going to join the June thread since I'm thinking of taking a few weeks off the whole ttc thing and jyst do a real super healthy month of loads of vitamins, supplements, wholefoods and zumba, enjoy weekend away for DH's 30th which has a brilliant spa (looks like DH and DS will be spending some time in the pool ha ha) and then possibly start with clomid or metformin for next cycle after that. I'm in two minds cos we conceived DS naturally and maybe we just need a bit more time, but don't want to spend 6 months trying, nothing to happen and then only starting drugs then iykwim?

Hope everyone is well!!

suzydelarosa · 09/05/2012 11:03

I was BFP on Monday but am bleeding today (confused); don't think that this baby is sticking. drats, drats drats. Over to the June thread for me!

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 09/05/2012 11:10

Suzy

Am still lurking on this thread. What is the bleeding like? Red or brown old blood? I had bleeding with dd (now 15 months) but it was old brown blood, was fairly light but lasted two days.

Got my fingers crossed for you.

suzydelarosa · 09/05/2012 11:29

hi - whenshewas - Blood was very brown but I'm also quite crampy; to be fair I have been all week. So I'm still a bit hopeful until blood goes red - then I know it's 'all over'!! When did you have the bleeding with your DD and how much did you have (just spotting or lots?) - sorry TMI!

I had no bleeding at all with my DD but I did have a MC at about 9 weeks and that went from dark brown blood to very red and lots of it. Sorry - tmi again! As I'm not very far along I figure it doesn't take much...

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 09/05/2012 12:45

Suzy

Was quite a lot. Tmi alert - on the first day it would have almost soaked one tampon. Yet more info you probably don't want to know but it came after having fooling around with dh, didn't have sex cause didn't want to disturb the bean. I think just the orgasm cause my uterus to contact a bit and that caused a bit of breakthrough bleeding.

Will be thinking of you. Smile

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 09/05/2012 13:09

Good grief just re read my post

I meant. caused my uterus to contract

tedmundo · 09/05/2012 13:31

@whenshewasbad ... I also had a bit of bleeding when preg with ds1 after sex. I think it is quite normal. but it scared me senseless!

@suzy .. Hope the bleeding stops very soon fx fx fx for you

suzydelarosa · 09/05/2012 13:58

Thanks ted and whendshewas - I will keep you posted although it's not looking good. A bit crap that my geriatric eggs aren't always working -- but on the plus side my DH's radiated sperm are, which bodes well.

jaquelinehyde · 09/05/2012 14:28

Suzy I also ha bleeding very early on with DS, it terrified me and I went off to hospital not knowing what was happening (it was a weekend so no Drs)

I sat in A&E waiting for the results of a pg test to come back thinking I must have got it all wrong and I was'nt pg after all, I was mortified.

Anywho, I was pg and stayed in overnight as I was getting lots of cramping and bleeding, an internal scan next morning revealed the bean was safe and well in the right place and is now an incredibly annoying 6 year old Grin

Fingers crossed for you, try not to worry.
