Had a search for a may BFP thread and couldn't see one (please correct me if there is!) so thought I'd start one..

morecoffeemorecoffee · 09/05/2012 23:22

Just checking in. Still lurking on this thread although I'm ni officially in the June thread.

Fx everything us ok for you suzy

Sorry AF turned up dog :(

This threads filling up fast!

scubastevie · 10/05/2012 06:11

BFN :( :( :(

What was my body doing in that 2ww? Confused. Will wait for AF to turn up tomorrow then. If it does turn up, think I'm going to come off threads, just relax and try not to think of it :)

Good luck to everyone else, and thanks for all your support x

wishfulthinking1 · 10/05/2012 06:19

No!!! Oh scuba, I'm so sorry to hear that. I guess there's still a chance with AF not being due tomorrow. Try to have a relaxing day- I'm sorry the start of the day was so shit x

wishfulthinking1 · 10/05/2012 06:38

Squeaky mac- ive not been massively careful in the 2ww tbh. Perhaps if I thought there was a realistic chance of a BFP then i might be more so. But I've eaten Brie and had the occasional drink.

I imagine when I get a bfp I'll be really anal about following the 'rules' so I'm trying to stay relaxed whilst I can!!! X

suzydelarosa · 10/05/2012 08:05

drats scuba, i was so looking forward to a BFP. Remember it's not over til it's over. In both my pregnancies I didn't get a BFP til a week after AF due or 5 weeks in. My fingers are crossed for you.

jaquelinehyde · 10/05/2012 08:28

Oh bugger Scuba I'm sorry, what a shitty start to the day but Suzy is right it's not over until AF arrives, so just relax as much as you can and wait it out.

DogEared · 10/05/2012 09:06

Sorry scuba :(
How are you doing suzy? Thinking a lot about you.

Let myself have yesterday evening to feel :( about AF, but today is a new day and I can look forward to trying again. :)

LittleMissSnowShine · 10/05/2012 09:09

Sorry scuba :(

Hang out here with me while we wait for AF to show...

CD 37 today and still no sign of the witch...

winkle2 · 10/05/2012 09:20

Hang in there scuba and snowshine.

suzydelarosa · 10/05/2012 09:24

hi dogeared - am bleeding a lot and now bright red so not looking good. Might head to the GP tomorrow to see but I think it's probably over for me. Crappy old eggs!!

Back to the June/July thread for me! x

icequeenkate · 10/05/2012 09:26

Sad scuba and dog. Am sure June will be a more fruitful month - May certainly isn't doing us much good at the moment.

lou - AF arriving or arrived? Is your luteal phase always that short? I'm not even convinced I've ov'd this month as no obvious changes to my cm, just assumed it would be when it always was before mc. Haven't been using sticks or temping.

Am now symptom spotting like mad. Can't really find any tbh. Apart from sense of smell, but as I live in a house with 4 boys/men and small stinky dog it's not surprising I guess. Will be gutted when if AF turns up as had kind of decided that this will last time of trying.

squeaky in my previous pgs I've never been careful in the first few weeks post ov - mainly because I was Blush young, naive and oblivious to the fact that things can go wrong getting pissed most of the time. This time I'm being much more cautious, particularly as I'm now 38, although I did eat brie last night but have reduced caffeine consumption. I suspect that there is not much that will affect the embryo while it is travelling down the tubes and beginning to implant which I'm led to believe can take up to a week from fertilisation. I imagine it is more significant when the early placenta etc begins to form after implantation.

suzy and jaqueline - how are things with you?

right - keep doing the headstands and clenching....

icequeenkate · 10/05/2012 09:27

suzy - cross posted. So sorry. Sad June will def be the month for you. I know so.

WhenSheWasBadSheWasHorrid · 10/05/2012 09:51

suzy so sorry, will see you over on the June thread

morecoffeemorecoffee · 10/05/2012 10:28

So sorry suzy xx

RIBS · 10/05/2012 11:33

Really Sorry Suzy

And you too scuba and everyone who's had their unwelcome arrival in the last few days.

This has been a really fun thread but its not been very lucky at all. We had BFP's thick and fast last month. Hopefully we'l have better luck on the June thread.

Good luck to all still baby dancing.

everythinghappensforareason · 10/05/2012 11:38

Sorry suzy + scuba ..

I agree with RIBS not a lucky thread this month!!!

tedmundo · 10/05/2012 13:38

this is my first time on a TTC thread and I am glad you said it has been particularly unlucky. I was worrying that this was normal stats for such a busy thread and thinking it will take AGES to get us all on BFPs.

let's hope the stats even out and the 2nd half of the month is awash with bfps.

KickingUpQuestions · 10/05/2012 13:43

I'm new and tired of getting my husband all excited every month so I need another outlet.

I posted my first thread - am due my AF on Sunday - 13 May. I am clockwork on 28 days and so I tend to get AF every Sunday.

Having random things going on that I'm really not sure of though and have done 2 x pg tests. 1 at like 7dpo (stupid, I know) and one this morning (10dpo). Both negative. Apart from the "line" I imagined

LittleMissSnowShine · 10/05/2012 14:26

Sorry suzy :( hope u can see your gp soon

Ribs / ted - altho I briefly posted on last months thread this has really been my first ttc thread too and I was also wondering that!

Took another hpt this morning - not first wee of the day but seemed pretty concentrated. BFN, so think thats pretty def. Still no AF and.no AF symptoms tho got a few early pg symptoms, so I guess its been an early pg loss and now just have to wait a few days for my v late AF to arrive. Its horrible limbo land waiting like this and not evwn being able to just start a new cycle Sad

KickingUpQuestions · 10/05/2012 14:34

What are pg symptoms?

Since none start occurring before 3 - 4 weeks?

LittleMissSnowShine · 10/05/2012 14:40

Exactly the same ones I had with DS, boobs sore and a bit swollen up, feel dizzy when I stand up, really thirsty and massive carb cravings for stuff like bread (i never usually eat bread at all, gives me a sore stomach and when AF is on the way all I ever want is chocolate)

Because im on CD37 and I had a bfp last week I could hav been 5 weeks now, but last 3 tests hav all been bfns so im assuming its just a matter of time til bleeding starts. Gutted.

KickingUpQuestions · 10/05/2012 14:44

Could you do me a HUGE favour? I started a thread - about the random things that I am feeling now. And I can't find anywhere that would suggest thirst as an indicator of pg (as an example - I am drinking 5L of water with a sudden need for fruit juice). I normally drink a lot of water but I am just drinking loads now. I am only 10 dpo but I would appreciate some advice?

I am 30, married for 6 months, TTC #1 for 8 months.

LittleMissSnowShine · 10/05/2012 14:54

I was v thirsty the whole way thru my last pg, in later stages because it was august, I was huge and I felt hot all the time, but I was thirsty and needing to wee ALL the time too from the word go - thought I had a kidney infection to begin with!

Good luck KickedUp, everyone has diff signs that tell them if they're pg so fx for u

KickingUpQuestions · 10/05/2012 14:58

I am going mad. This 2ww malarky isn't for the faint-hearted. My poor husband suffers along with me as well but I feel awful for getting him excited and then shattering everything.

We both just say we are hopeful but expecting the worst. Again :)
