hello everyone, great to see so many of us on here for a bit of support :) Only a couple of weeks to go until the first ladies on the list starting poas!!
Well, because DS came along so quickly and unexpectedly, this is the first time i've tried charting/taking temp every day...and either i'm doing it wrong, i'm very messed up or i need a new thermometer because my chart is all over the place lol So anyway, scrapping that for the time being and since I'm supposed to be OV in roughly about 3 or 4 days, SWI begins in earnest tomorrow night. Me and DH have both had horrible chest infections which have just cleared up, so between the DIY blitz over last few weeks, various work streses, looking after DS and recuperating, haven't really been 'in the mood', but going to have to get that way. Where's the Barry white CD?
Cejay8 / Craftygirly - I'm not really an expert on this, but because I have PCOS my cycles have been erratic in the past and before I got preg with DS I had been going to my GP and the PCOS clinic at my local hospital to try and regulate my cycles/manage my symptoms a bit, and one of the things they told me was that just because you are getting your AF and your cycles are fairly regular, it doesn't necessarily mean that you are OV. there's a test they can do called a '21 day test', where you get bloods taken roughly a week before AF is due and that helps the dr determine whether you are OV or not, because you can have AF/regular cycles which are anovulatory (ie, you don't OV). Of course, most women with regular cycles are OV, but I'm just mentioning this in case you want to get it checked out or anything
Costume - Nope, never tried acupuncture. Had reflexology a couple of times tho, a friend of mine was training as a reflexologist and i thought it was brilliant, really relaxing. And then I got preg with DS, so possibly there was a connection? Good luck with the accupuncture if you go for it tho, let us know what it's like!
