jane sorry AF arrived :( glad you can have some alcohol at your wedding though, enjoy it :)

razz good luck for next week, hope you find out the sex too.

lemonsherbet · 31/10/2011 20:14

cheese can I just say how happy I sam to hear everything is fine. So glad she is OK.

too so exciting that you are having a little girl and you must be so relieved that the tests were OK.

jane sorry AF arrived. I gave myself lots of deadlines and just found I was getting more and more stressed. Was determined to get pregnant by my due date and I found that so hard when I was not. So wishing you a honeymoon baby.

razz good luck with the scan next week

ciwi split angel blue and I am sure I am missing others out hi, hope you are doing OK

I think we may have to pay privately because the consultant did not write down that I could have an early scan on her letter which had what would happen in this pregnancy. I have booked a GP appointment but the earliest I could get is a week this Thursday. So I will have to wait to see if GP agrees to refer me to EPAU. Did not expect it to be so long for GP appointment. EPAU will not let you self refer.

CheeseandGherkins · 31/10/2011 21:37

Thanks lemon. I'm sure if you ask your gp then they could refer you for a scan, my gp referred me for one and I also called the epau myself and explained the circumstances. They were really helpful, I ended up crying on the phone! Not like me at all but hormones got the better of me.

AngelGeorgie · 31/10/2011 21:37

Lemon can t u ring EPU up with signs/ symptoms??? Xx
Too excellant that all is well. Fab news. Another team pink!!! Yeh
Cheese glad all is well. Chill now ( easier said than done I know!!!)
Jane crap!!! However, as already said at least you ve no restrictions for your wedding day. Enjoy that to it's fullest then you can crack on ttc , with no worries. Don t set yourself up for failure by putting deadlines on yourself. I m 40 now so you ve got YEARS to " play" with.
Or was that Green discussing age??? Can t remember!!!
Hi all hope all are well???
Phoebe weighed this am put on 2 oz over the weekend so BF defiantly working!!! Tackled Asda on my own ad Ant returned to work today , actually quite nice to be just the 2 of us at home!!! She fed like a trooper again all afternoon!!! Now passed out for last 3 hours; bliss!!
Love to all xxx

greenzebra · 01/11/2011 08:13

it was me discussing age angel I know Ive got plenty of time but sometimes it feels like it running away.

Too thats wonderful news! Do you already have a name figured out or are you making a big list now? We already have the names sorted for the next one, well we could change our minds but I have a feeling that these might stick. I am a bit obsessed with names, as my name and my DH's are very popular for our age group we try to pick something a little off the beaten track but then again if we like a name we dont care.

My parents are off tomorrow and so I have taken the day off to enjoy the silence. Is that cruel? Im going to spend the day with the cat. Sort some christmas pressies out before the DH comes home. Im going to enjoy a day to myself.

AugustMoon · 01/11/2011 10:57

Hi Ladies, just checking in for the first time in ages. Going to catch up on all your news now but wanted to say hi first. I've had a tough couple of weeks, kids on half term - lovely to have them around but also exhausting - and had a bit of a meltdown last week. Still no AF, though I think know I'm not pg, just don't feel at all like I am. Doctor's sending me for an ultrasound as i've had some pain and he wants to rule out the possibility that there's anything "left" inside. Right, going back a few pages to see what's news.
x

AugustMoon · 01/11/2011 12:07

Green, sorry to hear you got AF. Hope you're having a nice quiet day today
Blue, ditto - hoping you both have good news this time round, watching this space
Cheese congrats on your girl! Hope you're relaxing and feeling better though
Too and Shakey also congrats on your girls! Yay!
Mel, hope you're feeling ok, good luck with the scan tomorrow
Jane ah a honeymoon baby would be perfect. Hope you have a fabulous wedding
Angel how's little Phoebe today? That's great that she's putting on weight - real confidence booster when BF
Hi Razz - with all these girls on here the odds are that you'll have a boy but then who knows, I'm a strong believer that you "instinctively" know even when you tell yourself you can't for sure. Looking forward to hearing next week, if you find out
Spilt, hope Freya's letting you get some rest!
Lemon hope the GP can refer you for a scan, should be able to surely - have to say I'm a bit nervous about the thought of early scans having had one with DS2, not pleasant, but as we all know there are far worse things and I can totally understand wanting to have one. Will most likely feel the same if I get to where you are - here's hoping
Ciwi - wow, the first rainbow boy! Congratulations!

Smile
MelMal · 01/11/2011 12:46

Just a quickie to let you all know I'm ok. Still stressing about tomorrow but it's a necessary thing! I'll be 7 + 2 tomorrow and am just praying that there is a baby this time. Will post later, getting my carpets cleaned this afternoon and upstairs is all packed into 1 room so no computer access.
Hi everyone xxx

AngelGeorgie · 01/11/2011 14:36

Angel good news about the weight gain :o Hugs, must be hard today :(

green Enjoy your quiet day :)

August I hope the scan is arranged soon, at least you would know what was happening then. Half term just over here too, not long until they break up again for Christmas though!

Mel glad you're ok, good luck for tomorrow. Hope all goes well, will be thinking of you xx

lemonsherbet · 01/11/2011 21:25

I am spotting and cramping, think it is game over for me

MelMal · 01/11/2011 21:59

Lemon hugs to you. I know how you're feeling as I miscarried my last pregnancy in August. Don't think anyone has the right words just now but here's a big cuddle xx

CheeseandGherkins · 01/11/2011 22:05

lemon call the gp in the morning for an emergency appointment and ask for a referral to the epu, they should be able to do it same day. Failing that a&e? They should be able to arrange one also. Fingers crossed for you. Spotting doesn't mean a miscarriage necessarily, I bled for about 10 days with my dd1 at around 6 weeks and she's now 9. It was brown blood. I know it's worrying though as I've also had 6 miscarriages and it's the not knowing that's hard :( Hoping that everything will be ok xx

shakeyjake · 02/11/2011 07:36

lemon big hugs fx that its not a miscarriage

mel will be thinking of you today.

lemonsherbet · 02/11/2011 07:37

I know keep holding on to the fact that it is brown blood and not a lot. Also on aspirin this pregnancy so I guess that may be why I am spotting. But very hard when my first miscarriage only had 2 spots of brown blood and went for a scan and told no heartbeat. I figured I should not take the aspirin today. If I am going to miscarry probably better not to have thinned blood.

MelMal · 02/11/2011 08:11

Lemon I just realised that I went to the worst case. I'm really sorry, obviously I hope with all my heart that everything is ok. It seems to be how I deal with things and I shouldn't expect everyone else to be the same. Everything crossed for you xxx

shakeyjake · 02/11/2011 09:17

mel after what we have all been through its easy to think worse case first, i always do.

lemon i had spotting with my ds so it isn't always bad news, i am also on asprin this time but was only told to take it after 12 weeks

AugustMoon · 02/11/2011 09:32

Oh no, Lemon don't know what to say. Just hang in there and remember we're all here. Willing everything to be ok for you xxx

janedoe25 · 02/11/2011 09:48

lemon I have everything crossed for you, hang in there bean. x

ciwi · 02/11/2011 10:44

lemon sorry you are having this added stress, i hope its nothing and am keeping everything crossed for you that it's just old implantation blood. Can you self refer to your epu? I rang them myself when I had a mc and they saw me the same day once i told them my history. I hope you get some answers soon, the not knowing is horrible x

ciwi · 02/11/2011 10:45

and good luck today mel x

AngelGeorgie · 02/11/2011 10:54

Good luck Mel xx

green hope you are enjoying your day, sounds like bliss Envy
Hello to everyone else Smile

CheeseandGherkins · 02/11/2011 15:00

lemon hope you managed to get seen today xx

Mel how did the scan go?

Popped out today to get a bit of shopping and to take some flowers to Scarlett, 11 months today since she died, don't know where that time has gone xx

DiffedAgainDachs · 02/11/2011 17:39

lemon FX for you. I had lots of bleeding early on (brown) and then floods of red at 10 weeks and thought it was all over but EPU saw me and scanned me and baby was fine.

Just thought I'd drop in to say hi to everyone and wish you all the best of luck with everything.

I may start lurking a little more frequently as I'm not quite as stressed out with everything as I was. Had the cervical stitch yesterday and it looks like it was just in time as the cervix was already soft and a little bit open even though I'm only 14 weeks, so although they caught it before any massive problems I'm kind of resigned to the fact that it may well all go wrong again. Bizarrely that seems easier to cope with than the not knowing and just worrying. Doc isn't worried for now, but they're going to keep a close eye on me to make sure they catch it early if it does get worse.
