Nice to hear from you dachs, gosh 14 weeks already, times flies by though probably not for you!! Will be hoping/wishing hard for you that the stich does its job xx
lemon hope you have managed to be seen today.
mel Im still lurking for news from you Blush
cheese sending you hugs, im sure the flowers for Scarlett were beautiful

janedoe25 · 02/11/2011 18:01

dachs good to hear from you, I have been wondering how you were doing. I'm glad you are relaxing a little.

lemon how are you?

cheese how are you today?

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 02/11/2011 18:23

Lemon, praying really hard that it is just spotting and nothing more. Hope you got checked out today.

Mel, how did it go? Hope all was well.

Angel, for Georgie's anniversary.

Cheese, ditto for Scarlett's.

Hello Dachs! Glad to hear you are being looked after well and that they have got the stitch in. (A stitch in time saves nine, after all!) FX for you that it works well.

Whoever was asking about names, we have started to think about them but don't have a definitive list yet. The middle name will probably be Patricia (after both MIL and Granny) or possibly Alexandra after BIL. Thea's middle name was Mum's name, so it is DH's side of the family's turn.

DiffedAgainDachs · 02/11/2011 18:36

DH thinks this one is a girl as it's been a bit of a drama queen so far, and going on the heartbeat thing it would be a girl. I'm kind of hoping for a boy but as long as it's healthy it could be a zebra and I wouldn't care! (might get a few funny looks if it turned out to be a zebra though...) Am hoping to find out at our next appointment with my ob at 16 weeks. Otherwise will just have to book a gender scan for my birthday at the end of November.

I haven't been lurking enough to know what's going on with all of you at the moment, so apologies for not doing individual catch ups xxx

CheeseandGherkins · 02/11/2011 18:38

dachs glad they got the stitch in, it's good that they're keeping a close eye on you now. Will you be having scans to check your cervix?

razz thanks :) how are you doing?

jane I'm good thanks, feeling lots of kicks again which is a relief and no tightenings :o

Too Dh likes Eloise, with Ella as a nickname. Now I like Ella a lot but I'm not sure on as a full name but I'm not overwhelmed by Eloise. Hmm.

lemonsherbet · 02/11/2011 18:50

Went to GP EPAU is closed on a Wednesday so they have left a message for them. But I think it is all over, cramping getting worse and now red. Asked GP to be referred to recurrent miscarriage clinic. Since this is my 3rd pregnancy, though she did say they would not anything more than was done for my 20 week miscarriage. Since there was no answers from that, not likely to get one. She was trying to say it is just bad luck. So it looks like we may pay to go private. Sorry not a very upbeat post, sorry

Bluetinkerbell · 02/11/2011 19:02

Cheese my DD1 is an Ella Wink

dachs glad you're doing ok!

lemon don't know what to say... just ((hugs))

Cycled 10 miles(in total there and back) today to go to the requiem service in the church where Sterre had her funeral and had prayers at her grave with the vicar. Was very nice but also very emotional, tomorrow is her due date :(

waves to everyone else... very tired sorry!

OP posts:
razzdazz · 02/11/2011 19:06

I am sorry for you lemon but please dont be sorry to us for a non upbeat post, we are always here to listen to what is the truth and of course you are feeling upset, worried and distressed. Really hope they give you a scan tomorrow, makes me so cross that you can be left hanging on feeling like you do when you have already been through so much Sad
cheese I am doing fine at the moment thank you. Scan next tuesday so just trying to stay positive for that. I liked Eloise for my daughter but decided in the end that it didnt sound right with our surname, so she was Erica instead.
too we have already decided on names for both sex. This time we decided to look at the meanings when choosing and we both agreed. Shock!!

janedoe25 · 02/11/2011 19:08

lemon no words either but I can send loads of hugs. xx

too my middle name is Patricia, it was my mums name.

cheese df wanted eloise foe Zoe, but i wasn't keen.

blue I will light a candle for sterre tomorrow, hugs to you too. xx

razzdazz · 02/11/2011 19:08

Sorry blue crossed posts. Your visit to the church sounds lovely. Stay strong tomorrow and I will be thinking of you, your family and dear little Sterre x

janedoe25 · 02/11/2011 19:11

x post razz I love Erica! We were looking at name meanings when deciding dd's name, ironically Zoe means life.

spilttheteaagain · 02/11/2011 19:11

dachs I was thinking about you just this morning, great to hear from you and wow 14 weeks already! Phew that they got that stitch in just in time, that sounds quite touch and go. Looking forward to hearing what flavour yours is Smile

lemon Sad I am so sorry. Don't worry about non upbeat posts, we all write them. I hope you're wrong but big hugs either way xxxx

razzdazz · 02/11/2011 19:17

That is ironic jane but Zoe will be part of your life forever. Erica means ruler of the world and by god does she rule ours!!! I think DH will quake in his boots if we get told this one is pink Wink. I am of course joking!!!

shakeyjake · 02/11/2011 19:20

lemon so sorry big hugs

dachs good to hear from you.

blue your cgurch service sounds lovely and will be thinking of you tommorow

ciwi · 02/11/2011 19:54

lemon so sorry you are having to go through this, I hope you get answers tomorrow and I am still hoping for a positive outcome for you. I had a mc after we lost Ciaran and it is awful, you are a strong lady and you will get through this. Don't listen to the GP re miscarriage clinic, they might just test for something you haven't been tested for and at the very least you should get better care in early pregnancy if you are under them.
blue I will be thinking of you tomorrow, due dates are hard x
dachs good to hear from you, fx you can find out the sex in 2 weeks, they tried with me at 18 weeks but baby had his legs tight shut! We found out he is a boy at the 20 week scan x

MelMal · 02/11/2011 20:22

Lemon I am so sorry you're going through this. It is so hard but as has been said you are strong and will deal with this. Fingers are still crossed for a wee miracle though.
It doesn't seem right to post about me now but I know a few of you are wondering. Everything seems fine. Saw the heartbeat and measuring at 7 weeks. Back the beginning of December for 12 wk scan. I am totally relieved although it is still early days. I guess we all know too well that it makes very little difference to us whether we're 7 weeks or 37 wks, the worry and risks will always be with us. However, for now, I am relieved xx

ciwi · 02/11/2011 20:34

Great news mel each positive scan is another step in the right direction, that's how I see it anyway x

razzdazz · 02/11/2011 20:48

So pleased for you mel, just popped back on to see if you had posted. I repeat to myself each day something that angel once posted 'today is another day and today every thing is okay' or something similar to that. It has helped me. We will all keep trying to be strong together.

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 02/11/2011 21:54

Oh lemon, my love, huge hugs for you. How are you doing now? I hope the EPU comes through for you. I still hope it is all okay.

Mel, brilliant news, hurray for you! So pleased that you saw a tiny heartbeat.

Cheese, I like the name Eloise but my little sister is called Elspeth and gets Ellie for short, so I am ruling out Eloise, Elise, Elizabeth and other similar names, sadly.

Blue, thinking of you for tomorrow. 10 miles cycling is heaps! I would have collapsed...

Razz, names picked out already! How organised. It took us roughly 4 months to decide on Thea's name, starting properly from the 20 week scan. Her name was only picked about 4 weeks before she was born.

Weird stuff today - saw some ex workmates and they were all giving me that look, the one that says 'we are so sorry for you but don't know what to say'. Awkward! They were very sweet. Sometimes I feel like a cold hard shell hides me from the outside world.

janedoe25 · 03/11/2011 08:18

blue thinking of you and Sterre today xx

CheeseandGherkins · 03/11/2011 09:00

lemon Sorry the bleeding has worsened, I do hope you get a scan today though as you never know xx

razz good luck with your scan next week, not too long to go now. I'd really like to settle on a name

blue Ella is a lovely name, I'm tempted to use just Ella in itself. ((hugs)) for today, shall light a candle xx

Mel I'm really pleased your scan went well, I know what you mean about the weeks not making a difference, I feel the same

Too have you thought of any names yet? Eloise is growing on me but I really like Ella

Morning all. Didn't manage to get to sleep until around 3am last night so I'm feeling quite tired this morning. Hopefully will be better tonight though. Miserable day here too. Had lots planned for today, well sorting all the clothes in my wardrobe out (fun! hehe) but may give that a miss; will see how I feel later.

greenzebra · 03/11/2011 09:20

lemon be gentle with yourself and please keep us undated. I had a chemical pg a few months ago and it really knocked me off my feet for a few days. Just get it all checked out.

I havnt read all the posts as Im posting from work naughty me!

Names well I shall tell you my thoughts if our next is a boy its going to be Lochlan and if its a girl its going to be Odessa. This could all change and Im sure it will as last time we chopped and changed oginially we were going to have Erin but Ophelia won.

thinking of you blue

Waves at everyone I have missed

dachs so good to hear from you, I hope that the rest of your pg has no drama and that stitch stays firmly tight.

razzdazz · 03/11/2011 09:25

Morning ladies Smile
Special thoughts sent to you today blue
too there are plenty in this world that struggle to say something at the right time and plenty that dont seem to struggle at the wrong time!!! Loads of people have looked at me like I am off my head for being pregnant again, I dont let it bother me at all. We chose our names as I felt a real need to before that final scan at oxford, like it was kind of willing everything to be okay, kind of like when you dont step on the cracks in the pavement (Blush am I the only grown up that still does that!!).
cheese I didnt sleep very well last night either and am on a nightshift tonight so dont expect I will again. If I am in the right mood I love to clear our my wardrobes. The names we have chosen, and I will add we are not telling anyone in RL, are Samuel or Anya.
lemon really hope you are given some help today
My sickness has really eased up which is a surprise as I was still vomming when I had Thomas. Actually had no ketones in yesterdays sample Shock

razzdazz · 03/11/2011 09:28

X posts green, hope you are relaxed after your day at home alone!! Odessa is very pretty though I love Ophelia as well.

greenzebra · 03/11/2011 09:47

yeah you lot are the only people who have been told the names we are thinking of. Odessa means journey, which we thought would be a good meaning.

I had a great day yesterday, relaxed alot with the cat, got the washing done (such a housewife moment) and also we signed aload of paperwork for the solicitors so its all moving along and we should know soon our completion date. I am so excited!
