Same for you fan, hope your UTI clears up asap. Have you been able to crack on with any ttc, mind you I guess you are so busy with the flat.
Hope you are coping ok with the pregnancy august
angel, a new car, lucky you, what did you go for??
Hi jane, too and blue, hope you are all well.

If any of you ladies are interested (lol) I have investigated further and according to the veet website it is safe to use when pregnant (breaths huge sigh of relief)
Didnt get much sleep last night, every time I woke baby boy seemed to be having his very own xmas party!!!!

MiaAlexandrasmummy · 15/12/2011 23:14

razzdazz that is an important discovery re : Veet. Now slightly intrigued (in a non-pervy way) about the logistics of achieving your goal when pregnant... but don't worry, it's definitely a TMI moment.

angel how's the new car? that special new car smell. And thank you for your comments on the other thread, but thought I should bring it here now. I am surviving the quiet of an empty house today by staying busy, but hoping for snow tomorrow so DH will work from home.

Countmyblessings · 16/12/2011 08:39

Lol about the non pervy intrigue.....at the minute I can just about manage to slap on the cream down there......if I can ever be bothered again throughout this pregnancy I think I will have to have it done for me. Im sure by then the novelty of having dh home will have worn off Xmas Wink

Sorry count that AF turned up again Xmas Angry, have a nice glass of Wine or 2/3/4 and fingers crossed for that BFP early in the new year.

I am hoping for a chilled night with dc consisting of early baths, snuggled up in my bed together to watch a xmas dvd (a xmas carol) drinking hot chocolate.

Going to be happy when Thursday arrives and I've got holiday! :)
Been using the CBFM and it's been giving high reading since CD8, now wondering whether I ov earlier on in my cycle than I thought and been SWI on the wrong days... We'll see how it goes this month :)

Its my birthday today. Having a nice lie in with DH downstairs making breakfast for the boys and a decaf coffee for me. I think all hell will break loose soon so thought I'd come and say hi before I have everyone bundle in bed...
Sorry AF got you count - enjoy the Wine over Xmas and fx for a ny baby x
blue I'm the same forgetting things this time of year, and then feeling guilty. Hope you're giving yourself a break - its just such a busy time. I was working last year right up to Xmas eve and I don't know how I managed and you've moved house. Hope you get in lots of festive ttc Wink Early ovulation could be the answer! A friend of mine spent a year trying not realising she ovulated on CD 7, as soon as they realised she got pg straight away!
Hi razz hope you managed to get your chilled night with DC and hot chocolate - sounds perfect.
Hi cheee, Miasmum, fan and jane - noting name change btw :)

Have had a v chilled weekend doing absolutely nothing, yay! Am still in need of a couple more Christmas presents, but somehow have failed to do any more shopping. Oh well. I have wrapped most of the stuff I've bought so far and have run out of wrapping paper so can't do any more yet. Hope everyone else has had a peaceful time.

AngelGeorgie · 18/12/2011 21:39

Had a fab weekend , socialising ,cinema & seeing friends tonight. Some lovely Xmas shopping yesterday & flogged our old car. Mum & dad been up babysitting . Today wr ve been to Georgie's special place to lay some flowers & say a few words Sad. It's the only chance we ll get before Xmas & feel very strongly about visiting. Took Phebs there & explained why we visit the place & what it means to us. Very surreal. Feels like a different lifetime now but on the other hand so very real.
Love to all. Big FX fir a few Xmas BFPs !!! Xxxx

Hey Everyone!

Sorry been abit awol but been busy with the big move and well we dont have internet yet. Its been a really shit weekend actually had massive row with DH yesterday as he had annoyed me by going out for nearly 12 hours on saturday night, the day we moved and left me in the house with everything every where. Total nightmare, then he had the cheek to say I was a twat! for being annoyed about it. Anyway I wont go into all the details as Im at work and well it will take to long. We will hopefully have internet by tomorrow, and also Im thinking of getting a netbook so I can stop borrowing his computer. fx.

Im on AF at the moment so fx for a new year baby as should be ov around that time.

august happy belated birthday.

I will try to catch up on everyones news

waves!

CheeseandGherkins · 19/12/2011 08:42

Morning all. Had a busy weekend, sent my cards out Friday I think it was so hopefully arriving soon! Spent all day yesterday in the hospital with dh, he was bleeding again so had lots more blood tests, an ecg, saw different drs etc. We got to a&e about 9am and went straight in to be seen, luckily my mum could watch the dcs. His platelets are low again but they don't think that should have caused the bleeds but aren't sure basically. He's having to have a camera investigation arranged to rule out anything else and going to see his consultant within a week apparently.

They did let him home though which is good as they said they wanted to keep him in at first. So tired now. Woke up this morning and had a nosebleed too! First one in many years and left with a headache. Still lots to do for Christmas and still fighting this bloody virus, feeling crap.

Hope all are well xx

fanjodisfunction · 20/12/2011 08:10

I got quite upset yesterday, as you know I work for the local council. And in my office is the cemetery officer, she arranges all the burials and cremation plots. So over the past few months of me being in the office, we have had a few stillbirths and babies being buried which is sad, of course! But yesterday the muslim funeral director called her and she had a very loud conversation with him that I found to be totally inappropriate. She asked how many weeks the baby was and when she was told stillborn she insisted on knowing the weeks (which is fair enough as they have different certificates for burial) but then she starts saying very loudly down the phone is it a stillbirth or a non viable feotus! I just couldnt believe she was asking this question and she kept on repeating it. I thought it was very rude and maybe I should have said something but I really think it was unessercey for her to ask this all she had to ask was how many weeks and the certificate she needed. Fair enough she wasnt talking to the parents but the muslim community is very tight and they bury their own and back fill the graves themselves, she could have been talking to a relative for all she knew.
I could not concentrate for the rest of the day, it just struck me at how insensitive she was and wondering if all the profession of cemetery officers is like this across the board. I also remembered that she was one of the only ones in the office who didnt come over and speak to me when I came back from maternity leave and I would have thought she would have been considering that she deals with death on a daily basis.

Sorry to share this with you but your the only people who truly understand what an inappropriate and insensitive statement this is!

blizy · 20/12/2011 08:34

Fan I am shocked! How bloody cold and insensitive of that woman, I hope you are ok? How is the house conning along?

Cheese- hope you and Dh are feeling better today.x

Blue- i got your Xmas card, thank you. How is your house coming along?

I hope everyone is well, sorry no time to mention everyone but I am thinking of you all. X

fanjodisfunction · 20/12/2011 08:45

blizy had to read back to see who you once were, nice name change! House is coming along now after the row at the weekend, we have made up and well went to ikea yesterday and spent aload of money on stuff! And now DH has to put it all together while Im at work.

cheese I hope your dh is better and you are resting up.

razzdazz · 20/12/2011 09:46

Morning Xmas Smile
august happy belated birthday.....hope you had a nice day
angel your weekend sounds lovely, good for you
cheese I really feel for you, you seem to go from one bout of medical problems to the next. Try to rest up.....hope dh is ok.
fan dont you find that the most inappropiate people seem to get placed in certain jobs.......its like teachers that dont actually like children!! Hope you are able to concentrate a bit more today, the silly woman.

Im busy trying to make the days fly past until friday when dh is coming home. I am so excited and have so far managed to keep it from the dc, they will be delighted when they wake up on xmas eve and daddy is home.

Bluetinkerbell · 20/12/2011 12:30

ugh! why can't people (specially my Mum) understand that this time of the year, it's not really a good time to be announcing other people's pregnancies to me :(
And then she's going to be even more over the moon, when my DSis will tell them she's pregnant too this weekend... :( (she doesn't know yet)
And then saying she understands how it feels, that it's not easy, but that we have to be happy with and for other people... Angry

ah :) DMum phoned when I didn't say anything on chat anymore and apologised.
Then I had a phone call of NPower asking me whether I had a baby recently or if I am due soon. Said no that's not true, sorry, we lost our baby back in June. The lady on the other side, sounded very shocked and couldn't stop apologising. She did ask if I was interested in changing companies, said no, she then said that's ok and take care.
