Thats a lovely meaning green, really beautiful. Samuel means 'Asked of God and God has listened' and Anya 'God has chosen and he was gracious' and also 'ressurection' which I would prefer to think means new beginnings.
Hope your completion date finds its way to you soon, no wonder you are excited.

greenzebra · 03/11/2011 10:08

Samuel and Anya are beautiful names and lovely meanings, especially love Anya.

greenzebra · 03/11/2011 10:18

dachs I should be having the zebra! lol, maybe that can be your bump name. I had a dream the other day that our next bump name was peach.

cheese I quite like Eloise, does it go with your other DC's names or doesnt that bother you? I can get very obsessed with names, my DH got so fed up with me going on about them last time.

spilttheteaagain · 03/11/2011 11:12

Thinking of you today blue, I hope it treats you gently.
Bless you, little Sterre xx

razzdazz · 03/11/2011 11:13

Thank you green, though, if the trend on this thread is anything to go by I won't get to use Anya Wink and baby will be another boy.
Hi angel, gosh you are so good, Im not quite sure my dedication to the breast would still be there if I was constantly feeding Blush, well done is all I can say and I hope you get a sleep this afternoon Smile

janedoe25 · 03/11/2011 13:38

I love the names razz. If Zoe was a boy we had chosen Evan. Next time round though we both love Rauridh for a boy, I know we will have problems chosing for a girl again, Zoe was the only name we both loved!

angel hope you get your restful day < are you listening Pheobe?>.

lemon how are you?

AngelGeorgie · 03/11/2011 13:50

Thanks xxx
Not bad here. Phoebe slept for 4 hrs this am.just feeding now!!! Feeling crap as I ve got an infection in my section wound. On AB hope they work quickly.
Hope everyone's having a good day? Xx

spilttheteaagain · 03/11/2011 15:06

A photo of Bobbie's memorial arrived in the post today. We just need to confirm we're happy with it and then it will be laid at the cemetery. I'm not sure happy is the right word Sad I feel a bit sick.
And this morning one of the cats jumped onto "Bobbie's shelf" (the one that has her picture, her candle and a frame with her handprints and a poem in). Cat knocked the print/poem frame onto the hearth and it's broken.

spilttheteaagain · 03/11/2011 15:06

(I'm not griping about the memorial folk, they didn't write "happy" in the letter! Just realised how my post sounded...)

greenzebra · 03/11/2011 15:08

oh no spilt,Naughty cat! Is the memorial what you hoped it would be like?

greenzebra · 03/11/2011 15:10

I guess its really hard, you didnt want to have to lay a memorial you expected to have Bobbie here with you. I felt the same about the urn we had Ophelias ashes in, we received an email last week asking us to review it for them? Didnt know what to do, so we ignored the email, I mean it does a job, how are you supposed to review an urn?

Bluetinkerbell · 03/11/2011 15:59

((hugs)) for you Spilt! Sitting here crying again... I thought my family had forgotten about today, but my parents just sent me a nice text saying they're thinking of us and Sterre.

There is a memorial service organised by PALS from our local hospital on Sunday, but we haven't had an invitation... don't know whether they send one or not. All the names of the babies will be read out, but don't know whether they will read Sterre's name out properly :(

OP posts:
spilttheteaagain · 03/11/2011 17:14

Thanks both. green it's just as we'd asked, so I'm pleased. Review an urn?? How odd, don't blame you for not replying.

Lovely of your parents blue, it helps so much to have the acknowledgement x

lemonsherbet · 03/11/2011 19:17

Hi EPAU telephoned today but not until 4.30 when they were closing. They want me to call tomorrow and they will arrange an appointment. But there is no point anymore been bleeding bright red and passing clots sorry if TMI. So think I will call them back and opt just to POAS in 2 weeks to check it is negative. I think I may take a break from this thread for the next week or so. Thank you all for your support. Good luck to those having a rainbow baby and good luck TTC to those who are still waiting to get pregnant.

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 03/11/2011 19:40

Oh lemon, sweetheart, I'm so sorry. If you ever want to talk we'll be here for you. Wishing you all the best and will be thinking of you.

Blue, thinking of you too. Love to little Sterre.

Spilt, happy may not be the right word, but do you feel relieved to have it sorted out? Bad cat! DH wants to carve a memorial for Thea out of wood. I do like the idea of him making something with his own hands, but I don't want it to weather badly.

Green, review an urn? How weird, and insensitive.

Angel, oh no! Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly. Take care of yourself - can you get anyone to pamper you a bit while it heals?

I love all the baby names and meanings! Am off to look up names again and see if I find inspiration. Community MW coming tomorrow at 8.30 so ought to tidy up a bit too.

Bluetinkerbell · 03/11/2011 19:40

lemon ((hugs)) my dearest! take care! will be thinking of you!

Blue memorial service sounds good . We were due to go to one in Sept but somehow or other I totally forgot. Was gutted.
Too hope u get u re house tidied??? Why is a community Midwive visiting you at home???( if u don t mind me asking!!!)
Chilled day today Pheb's better until tonight then BF for 2 hours then we ended up giving her a bottle. Another friend visited. Another cash donation for Phoebe!!! Our child is loaded!!! She ll be paying the mortgage next month!!!
Wound still tender & smelly ( nice) come on AB start working!!!
Spilt we have " Georgie's light" , it's a light inside our fireplace ( which doesn't actually have a fire in!!) with a framed photo of Georgie there. Naughty pussy cat!!! Our cat has been wonderful to
Phoebe. She keeps her distance, doesn t hiss or anything. Thank god , after having to have Scortie put to sleep in June I couldn t have coped if we had to get rid of Cleo.
Love to all xxxx

greenzebra · 04/11/2011 07:58

lemon I am so sorry ((((hugs))))

angel hope those antibiotics start working soon.

its my DH's birthday today, he doesnt like birthdays, but he likes the presents! He insisted on having my parents one last night. Men!

I have made him a Mississippi mud birthday pie and bought him dinosaur candles to put on top! lol

janedoe25 · 04/11/2011 08:13

lemon I am so, so sorry. take as much time as you need. Sending you some big squishy hugs.

green The cake sounds fab, especially the dinosaurs!

angel Hope the AB's kick in soon.

blue How are you today?

Oh, I get married in TWO weeks eeeek, where has the time gone?

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 04/11/2011 08:16

Angel, good for the family visit - get them to pamper you! I hope the antibiotics start working soon.

The community MW is doing all my visits at home - she came to visit me a lot after Thea died and I think she just thought she ought to carry on. I live quite close to her on her route to work, so I think that's part of it too. It is lovely of her to come, anyway, given that I am technically under consultant care, not MW-led. House is reasonably presentable, although dog has just jumped on sofa with wet muddy paws, grr!

Green, Grin at the dinosaur candles! Hope the cake is greatly appreciated.

TooImmature2BDumbledore · 04/11/2011 08:17

TWO weeks, Jane, squeeee!

Bluetinkerbell · 04/11/2011 08:54

I'm ok thanks! We let a balloon up for Sterre this morning with a little message! Couldn't do it last night as it was too dark and couldn't see it go up! It was nice! :)

Off on a school trip today!

OP posts:
greenzebra · 04/11/2011 09:30

blue that sounds lovely, a balloon for little Sterre. Are you going to go to the memorial service? I dont think they send out invites, well my hospital doesnt, we were told we could just attend if we wanted.

jane how exciting!

too your community mw sounds nice, mine was a bit bleugh to be honest didnt know what to do.
Is everyone who is pg here at the moment having consultant led care?

AngelGeorgie · 04/11/2011 09:40

Oh I see Too that's nice of your Midwive.
Blue glad yesterday was ok. Balloon sounds lovely.
Green I was shared care ( consultant
& Midwive) when pg both times , even more so with Phoebe. I saw my consultant every 4 weeks along with a growth scan.
Hi all; crap rainy day here. Glad it's the weekend & Ant can help me with Phoebe. He's offered to stay up with her tonight & do the night shift so I can get a full nights sleep. Funny how now the simplest of things are so pleasurable!! Xx
