If you are TTC after Miscarriage (or waiting to start trying again), this is the place to be. This thread is full of lots of lovely ladies on the post MC rollercoster and is full of support and advice from people who have been through it, and know what you are going through.
Jump on board and join in the for some laughter, crying or even the odd ranting (whatever you need). There?s lots of Wine, Brew (caffeine free of course Smile ) and chocolate, and more importantly, friendly ?ears?.

The thread moves fast so bob in and out as you please. Don?t be afraid to ask anything ? nothing is ever TMI!!!

If you want to join the stats, just add yourself to the list:

WTTC = waiting to TTC
UCL = usual cycle length
WFT cycle = what the f*uck cycle (cycle after mc but before first AF)
For more accronyms see here

Good luck to all ? The last one was a lucky thread for lots of people so here's hoping for lots more healthy, sticky BFPs by the end of the thread Grin

This is the previous thread

Stats to follow.

chloe xpost. i gave him a teddy he didn't recognise (had been put away when younger with loads of others as he had sooo many.) he cuddles that. we've also started using a "magic" spray. i changed the pictures in his room from beatrix potter post cards to pics of him as baby and with dh and myself. Last night he just lay there with his eyes open, i'm telling him your not going to get to sleep with your eyes open but apparently it's common, nursery said all the naptime children do it as well. eventually i turned his bright bed side light off and just left his really dim one on, sat in for another 5-10 mins then left, he still had his eyes open, but didn't cry or anything. So am trying turning the light off after story finishes again, and staying till asleep and leaving light off. will still spray and read none scary stories etc. i'm just soooo tired.

meliesmummy · 24/03/2011 15:16

Cep when dd went through her phase just after Xmas I tried sitting on the landing, I told her that I would sit there until she fell asleep but if she got up I would go downstairs. It didn't work because she's too stubborn and just told me to go away so she could get up (!) but if it's reassurance your ds wants maybe worth a try? My dd is 3 going on 13 I swear, I can already see what she'll be like as a teenager!

harrassed can you see a different dr? What you were told doesn't make much sense, and I've heard that some gps will do basic tests after 2 mcs anyway, look after yourself today x

Sounds lovely Chloe.

I've only had a couple more brown spots (I'm checking obsessively, I'm sure if anyone noticed how often I went to the toilet at work last night they'll be wondering what's wrong with me!). My cervix is hard and high, and I think I can feel a little scab on it so maybe that's it (I really hope so, being not pg is hard enough but I really want normal cycles). We're off to sainsburys so that we don't starve!

mel no, unfortunatley i've tried popping to the loo and he waits for 2 secs gets up and screams. He only seems to settle if i'm in the room.

vegas oh glad af is here, can move you to the ttc list what cd are you now? and ucl?

Chloe55 · 24/03/2011 15:38

Great news vegas ! Smile

Melie Stop fiddling around up there will you?! You are going to keep making it bleed!! Grin

cep · 24/03/2011 15:39

second that chloe in fact i remember a certain mel telling me to stop fiddling last week. Grin

meliesmummy · 24/03/2011 15:46

Ok I deserved that but I really really want to know what's happening! Blush Grin.

Hi Vegas glad you are getting back to normal

cep · 24/03/2011 15:47

mel i know hon, been there. Smile give yourself time it'll all become clear in a few very frustrating days.

brooke89 · 24/03/2011 17:55

collie Im not sure to be honest, I've never tracked any of it! My last period was 20th January, +ve on 14th Feb and then miscarried start of March sometime...mel I did another test this morning and it was -ve so feeling a bit :( that I might have missed my chance this month but I did SWI 5 times last night! Blush I meant business haha! But at least a +ve shows my bodies getting back to normal after the mc....

Also mel i had alot of implantation bleeding, i put a sanny pad on because i thought it was AF coming, so fingers crossed hun!

harrassed Hope your all ok over there :)

vegas thats good news, im hoping mine isnt too far away either so I can start getting on with trying again rather than being in limbo!

cep How is everything going with you?

Hi chloe waves to everyone else :) its nearrrlyyy Friday!!!

xx

cep · 24/03/2011 18:05

brooke not too bad. just soo tired. (i may have mentioned once or twice.) Grin 5 times bloomin heck, i've never had the energy for that. Wink good going.

cep · 24/03/2011 18:05

chloe sorry also meant to say, yay on the job, it does sound tiring, i'm sure you'll do great.

Collie2 · 24/03/2011 18:43

harassed glad you've had the day off, how are you? Don't rush back into anything too quickly. ((hugs)) can't believe they won't count your prev mc bcs with another partner. What a stupid policy.

brooke wow 5 times! Fx it did the job.

cep your poor little ds. Bless him. Give him a cuddle for me.

chloe great news re the job.

Grin @ mels poking around not taking own advice. Just try and tell yourself for every moment that AF is not here, it's a good thing. There's noone worse than me for stressing about not knowing what's going on, but it doesn't help, and in a few days you'll know (if only I could take own advice)

I'm feeling quite Sad and weepy. Had lovely lunch and nice day at work, but as soon as left office just felt so sad. Had lump in my throat all the way home. I know it must be the thought of the funeral tomorrow. I'm dreading it. I just don't want to say goodbye. Still not feeling pg, and no real cramps to speak of for couple of days, but just lacking energy to worry.

OP posts:
Tokyotwist · 24/03/2011 19:41

Hi everyone,

I've just got home after a wonderful week with family. It's been wonderful being looked after by my Mum and then coming home to the lovely sunshine. And today my AF finally came. Well I think it is anyway. It's very very light but it can't be anything else as its over 5 weeks since I had any bleeding from the MC.

I'm off to catch up with the thread. But Yay AF (hopefully).

meliesmummy · 24/03/2011 19:44

Oh collie, of course you are sad, I hope that tomorrow gives you some peace. As for the lack of cramps, I don't remember having any with dd but I did during my last pg (which were weeks earlier than my mc and nothing at all to do with it given that my body held onto the baby for 3 weeks after the heart stopped) so every pg is different so please try not to worry x

I'm fairly sure this spotting is from my cervix, it's too thin and mucousy to be af. So I'm trying my best not to worry too but I can't help wondering if everything will ever get back to normal, I convince myself af is about to get me and feel sad but sort of expect it. Then I have nothing for a few hours and think maybe not, and get round to thinking maybe it's a pg sign only to have a bit more and the circle starts again!!! I'm neurotic I know!

Hi Brooke, sounds exhausting but hope it's worked for you!

meliesmummy · 24/03/2011 19:45

Hi Tokyo how's your dd?

Tokyotwist · 24/03/2011 19:57

Hi Melies, she is still coughing like a heavy smoker at night but otherwise seems much better. I think she's on the mend. Fingers crossed it'll last this time.

Hi all

mel hope you're feeling a bit more cheery now- i know how you feel though all everyone seems to talk about at work is babies at the moment, and my friend is due in a couple of weeks. Plus a friend's sister is due on my due date with twins which were 'an accident!' All she seems to do is moan about it from what I can tell. I know it must be hard work but I'd love to be able to moan about that!

Just seen I'm added to the list but I don't know how to update my CD etc.

Thanks for adding me in though cep (I think).
I'm ttc 1 UCL 28 and CD 11. I'll add it if a kind lady tells me how!

Got peak day on the monitor this morning so DP had a nice wake up surprise!- had to do my mascara laid on my back afterwards mind you. Not as easy as you'd think! Don't know whether we should dtd again later to be sure. Any thoughts?

Really really hoping this is a lucky month xx

meliesmummy · 25/03/2011 07:20

Just a quick one, dh is sorting dd out so I can have a lie in, I've been awake since 5 and working tonight so need a rest. I just wanted to say to collie that I'll be thinking of you today, I hope that it all goes well and that you are able to say goodbye x

Hi to everyone else

Hope it's all ok at home blackkat

Chloe55 · 25/03/2011 07:38

Cep I take it ds still isn't sleeping then? Sounds exhausting! Did you take the drawers out?

How did it go collie?

Hi Vegas, good luck with swi!

Well, I'm still none the wiser. I'm still having blood stained/brown cm on wiping but nothing on a sanitary towel. I'm still obsessively knicker checking! I'm meant to be napping but can't sleep.
